The area may take any form and should be scalable up to and including national borders. The enclosure is managed on the mobile unit. The target system is Android. Stora Enso är ett integrerat pappers-, paketerings- och skogsföretag som producerar finpapper, kartong samt träprodukter. Denna studie har genomförts på uppdrag av Stora Enso och utvärderar samt utreder existerande korrelationer mellan olika kvalitetsparametrar samt upplevd bildkvalitet. Det är oklart vad som påverkar den upplevda bildkvaliteten i störst utsträckning och Stora Enso ville därmed få ökad kunskap angående vilka kvalitetsparametrar som resulterar i ett gott tryckresultat. I och med digitalpressarnas utveckling introduceras papperskvaliteter med varierande egenskaper på marknaden och Stora Enso vill erhålla kunskap angående olika papperskvaliteters prestationer kvalitetsmässigt vid tryckning i olika tryckpressar. I denna studie baserades mätningarna och analyserna, tryck- och papperstekniska samt subjektiva, på elva olika papperskvaliteter tryckta i tre tryckpressar, DC2060, iGen3 samt offset.

AbstractIn this essay, I have chosen to examine how four teachers in a work unit think and work with linguistic development and strategies, particularly in grade 4-6. The teaching profession has gradually become more like a cooperative profession. Therefore it is in a general pedagogic interest, to know, how each one of the teachers in the work unit, are thinking about linguistic development, teaching profiles and the significances of a work unit to achieve their aims to provide for all the individuals in their classrooms. My intention was to find out if a homogeneous work unit or a heterogeneous work unit is to prefer in work with linguistic development, which initially made me focus and realise the importance of each one of my informants? answers.

Transportation constitutes a large part of the forest industry's raw material costs. Transport also contributes a significant proportion of the carbon dioxide emissions. In order to reduce both the cost and environmental impact different types of decision support are required. These, in turn, require extensive information about the road network and correct information on road path selection and transport distances. In the development of national road data base for forestry (SNVDB) a road selection application has been included.

Examensarbetet som har genomförts på uppdrag av Stora Enso belyser svårigheter kring övervakning av lagerkondition och korta lagerlivslängder i presspartien på kartongmaskinerna. Arbetet belyser även om de korta lagerlivslängderna är smörjrelaterade och hur smörjmedlet påverkar lagerlivslängden. Det finns problematik med att finna lagerfel vid användning av vibrationsanalys på relativt lågvarviga maskiner, detta beror på den låga energinivån som genereras av en lagerdefekt och därmed döljs lagerfrekvenserna lätt i bruset. Hur mycket luft, partiklar och vatten inverkar på smörjmedlet som kylbärare och friktionsbärare är svårt att mäta och sätta värden på eftersom att varje lager som smörjs påverkas olika mycket. Arbetet behandlar främst 4:e presspartiet i KM7 och 1:a presspartiet i KM8 som finns på Stora Ensos bruk i Skoghall. Presspartien i kartongmaskinerna innehåller valsar som är avgörande för processen.

This case study presents how the unit of munition-searching dogs of the Swedish armed forces handles their experiences from international service. The subject is particularly interesting as previous research into the area is nonexistent. The questions asked in the study are answered through the authors findings that training and preparation of this unit has developed thanks to the input of lessons learned from previous missions. This paper, based manly on experience reports, show that the unit successfully uses the method for handling lessons learned chosen within the Swedish armed forces..

Stora Enso Bioenergi AB producerar, köper och säljer skogsbränsle till i huvudsak energibolag och skogsindustriföretag. Marknaden för biobränsle är starkt säsongsbetonad och den största efterfrågan infinner sig under den kalla delen av året, mellan oktober och april. Det innebär att behovet av produktionsresurser får en mycket ojämn fördelning över året. Genom att använda terminallager kan behovet av produktionsresurser fördelas under en längre period. Det medför dock en hög kapitalbindning i terminallagren.

In 2006, Stora Enso Skog implemented an education program in water management for harvester operators, timber purchasers, cut block planners and supervisors. The focus of the program was creating stream crossings with minimal harm to the stream and the surrounding riparian area. This main purpose of this study was to determine the difference in work procedures before and after participating in the program. The methodology consisted of field studies and interviews with harvester operators and their supervisors. The field study looked at how the streams had been crossed concerning the number of crossings, visible damage to the stream and/or the riparian area made by the machines. Biological parameters such as the width and dept of the stream and amount of large woody debris in the stream were also measured. The field result from 30 harvesting sites showed no significant difference between sites that had been harvested before or after the education program. But the harvester operators and their supervisors experienced an increased concern for watersheds after the educational program.

In the year of 2011, the new CEO of AB Volvo announced a major reorganization. This reorganization was a contributing factor to the start-up of this thesis.Volvo Group Logistics Services (VGLS) is Volvo Group?s global logistics partner, which designs, manages and optimizes all of the group's incoming and outgoing logistics flows. With the reorganization, VGLS started a project regarding responsibilities around railway flows. Within the project a demand to collect logistics requirements occurred.

This thesis reports on a case study of a forest company, Stora Enso, and their experience from a number of trials and experiments with ash recycling. A literature survey and a total of eleven in-depth interviews were carried out. Ash recycling was found to be the concern of three different divisions of the company. The pulp industry which produces the ash, the forest division which would be responsible for identifying land and spreading the ash, and Stora Research, which has had a major part in the design and implementation of research trials. Lacking an overall company decision on ash recycling the matter is left to the individual divisions.

This report describes the construction work of a radar antenna for the radar systemCARABAS. CARABAS is a long wave airborne ground radar that has been developed bySAAB Microwave Systems and will now be mounted on a small helicopter, Schweizer 300.The antenna should be able to fold up and down. When the radar is in use the antenna islowered and under transport, start and landing the antenna is folded up. An emergency dropfunction should also be included in the design of CARABAS III.The extent of this report includes construction of the antenna, frame structure attached to thehelicopter, mechanism for folding the antenna up and down and mechanism for emergencydrop function. The mechanical design of the antenna and frame structure is based on modaland stress analysis, vibration measurement of Schweizer 300 and frequency analysis, andcalculations regarding aerodynamic drag and mechanics.The exciting frequencies of the helicopter and accelerations at those frequencies weredetermined by vibration measurement and frequency analysis.
