Bakgrund: Flertal studier visar ett samband mellan regelbunden fysiskaktivitet och livskvalité bland äldre.Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur fysiskt aktiva äldre individer uppleverhälsa, livskvalité, känsla av sammanhang och hur det kan vara enförutsättning för fysisk aktivitet. Kan KASAM-livsfrågeformulär bidra tillökad förståelse för individens upplevda hälsa och fysiska aktivitet.Metod: Kvalitativ och kvantitativ. Utifrån kvantitativ ansats användesKASAM-livsfrågeformulär med 29 frågor uppdelat utifrån treområdeskomponenter; begriplighet, hanterbarhet och meningsfullhet. Somkvalitativt komplement gjordes 15 intervjuer. Data analyserades medinnehållsanalys.

Detta examensarbete gick ut på att enligt utvecklingsprocessen på Motion Control utveckla en prototyp av en kabelersättare för en produkt på företaget; USB I/O. USB I/O är en mät- och styrenhet och datainsamlingsenhet för USB-porten med flera in- och utkanaler som i flera applikationer har som nackdel att den är kabelbunden. Tanken var att göra en enhet som man ansluter USB I/O till och som kan kommunicera direkt med konventionella ?Bluetooth-dongles? som är vanligt förekommande på konsumentmarknaden.Tre undersökningar gjordes. Den första var en marknadsundersökning för att se lämpliga systemkoncept samt vilka konkurrenter som kan finnas.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka mödrars upplevelser av hur överföring mellan mor och dotter kan se ut gällande kroppsuppfattning och utseende, samt hur överföringen kunde påverkas genom medvetna val i mödrars eget förhållningssätt till sina kroppar. Tidigare forskningsresultat visade att moderns förhållningssätt till den egna kroppen i relation till kost och motion påverkade döttrarnas ätbeteende. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna var Bowlbys teorier kring anknytning, Meads den generaliserade och signifikante andre, Bourdieus begrepp hexis samt Chodorows teorier om modersfunktionen. Fem intervjuer med mödrar, i åldern 35-45 år genomfördes. Samtliga intervjuer spelades in för att senare transkriberas.

Denna typ av sjukdom kräver livsstilsförändringar som påverkar till exempel kost och motion. Dessa förändringar är viktiga för både individen och behandlingseffekten. En av de viktigaste delarna i behandlingen av sjukdomen, är att ha kontroll över sin blodsockernivå för att på så sätt ha ett relativt bra liv.Syfte Syftet var att beskriva den hälsorelaterade livskvaliteten hos patienter med diabetes typ 1.Metod Metoden var en beskrivande litteraturöversikt där författarna har använt 15 vetenskapliga artiklar.

When a car owner want to lock or unlock his or her car today, it?s preferable done by using aremote control. The system is really comfortable when the car owner is using the remote.A problem arises if a thief gets the remote.The thief doesn?t have to know where the car is parked, an approximate estimation where thecar is parked is enough.For instance, it?s enough to know which car park the car is parked in. If the thief knows that,he/she can repeatedly activate the remote control while looking for a car indicating with lightsand sounds.Because of the fact that a car usually indicates that it has been unlocked by making a shortsound indication, there will be no problem finding the car.The purpose with this project is to make a prototype which makes it harder for a thief to findthe car.

Kandidatarbetets innehåll undersöker och diskuterar frågeställningen: ?Hur påverkas narrativet i en film genom att gestalta ljudet akusmatiskt??. Med hjälp av teorier och slutsatser från filmteoretiker så som Michel Chion, David Sonnenschein och Klas Dykhoff, har vi till kortfilmen Alla ljuger skapat en ljudläggning med fokus på narrativa ljud utanför den rörliga bilden. Vårt resultat syftar till att skapa grunden till en svensk standardisering av de existerande teorier och metoder för gestaltning av akusmatiska ljud i film. The content of this bachelor thesis examines and discusses around the question: ?How does the implementation of acousmatic sounds affect the narrative of a motion picture??.

Syftet med denna undersökning var att se hur kvinnor i olika åldrar uppfattade begreppet hälsa ochvad de ansåg att de kunde göra för att främja hälsa, och om det fanns några speciella hinder till attfrämja hälsa. Denna studie genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats. Sammanlagt deltog 12 kvinnormed ett åldersspann på 22 ? 65 år. Dessa personer var uppdelade i två fokusgrupper med 5respektive 7 personer i varje grupp.

Today?s society is one where technological advances are made daily, which increases the need to stop and assess the risks against users? integrity when integrating new technology in contemporary systems all the greater. We have taken two technologies, Near Field Communication and Certified Wireless USB, whose envisioned area of use is to be integrated into mobile phones, and evaluated what security threats are revealed for the respective technologies. The threats against security have been identified through research of the standards and existing reports for each technology. Practical experiments have not been conducted on account of us not having access to any equipment to run such trials.

This master?s thesis was performed during the fall of 2006 at Cloetta Fazer AB in Ljungsbro. Cloetta Fazer is the market leader in Scandinavia of manufacturing confectionary and chocolates. The purpose of the project has been to identify causes that impact the quantity of waste in production as well as a cost/benefit analysis of the solutions that can reduce the problem of production waste.The work includes four production lines that are individually designed depending on what kind of product that are produced on the line. By using qualitative and quantitative methods such as focus groups, interviews and observations data has been collected.

This essay is focused on the re-use during the Bronze Age of the Stone Age passage grave RAÄ 85 in Mysinge, Öland. To increase the knowledge of the phenomena of re-use in general and that which occurred in Mysinge passage grave in particular I?ve looked at other forms of re-use on Öland and the re-use of passage graves in Falbygden. The research has been limited to the Bronze Age. My goal has been to see what this might tell us about the relationship people during the Bronze Age had towards the abstract subject of ?non-existence?, in other words death.

Bakgrund: Övervikt och fetma har visat sig vara ett växande folkhälsoproblem i hela världen och leder till ökad risk för många följdsjukdomar. Även i Sverige har det skett en kraftig ökning och år 2013 var nästan hälften av befolkningen överviktig. Motiverande samtal används allt mer i den förebyggande hälso- och sjukvården för att motivera patienter till en förändrad livsstil. Syfte: Var att beskriva om motiverande samtal påverkade livsstilsförändringar hos vuxna personer med övervikt och fetma. Metod: En litteraturöversikt med 13 kvantitativa och kvalitativa inkluderade vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades och bearbetades.

The world around us is shrinking and globalization and capitalism are processes affecting the world. Global trends, like outsourcing and relocation of firms to low-cost countries, have become more common. This creates a huge vulnerability in the municipalities that today are concentrated around a single large company. One of these is Olofström which today is one of the most vulnerable municipalities in Sweden and whose survival today lies in the hand of the company ?Volvo Cars Corporation?.

Three different factors are thought to be involved in the increased segregation in Stockholm: the living segregation, scientific and political dissonances and the social economical factor. Many segregated areas have many inhabitants with foreign background. Schools in these areas have a higher number of students with lower grades compared to other schools with higher number of students that are ethnical Swedes. Jordbromalmsskolan is a school in Haninge kommun that is one of the seven schools in Stockholms suburbs where students graduate with the lowest grades. The school is suffering from a very bad reputation because of many problems like fights between students and lack of resources like purchase stop.

The purpose of this study was to find out if motion movements, e.g. number of lying bouts and lying time with a registered activity monitoring sensor can detect an impending calving and thereby be used as a measure and an indicator for an upcoming calving. For this, automatically step sensors were used and were attached to one of the cows? hind leg. The sensor registered the individual step and movement activity of the cow.

The main aim of this study is to investigate which structural ideas that lies behind the European Union?s marine operation Atalanta that has been put into motion to counteract piracy and robbery outside the coast of Somalia. In order to do this, we have with the use of the theory of weak states, intervention as well as sovereignty, investigated EU?s document in the question with the use of the idea centered analytical method. The questions that has guided this study, lies both on an empirical and theoretical level.
