Syftet med vår rapport är att ge en inblick hur piketen fungerar, framförallt hur urvalsprocess går till och hur man jobbar för att få in kvinnor i enheten. Vi blev intresserade av hur piketen fungerade och hur man jobbar med att rekrytera kvinnor, när vi hörde att Stockholms piketen haft ett projekt under hösten 2007. Projektet riktade sig till kvinnor för att få fler av dem att söka sig till piketen. Vi tycker att detta ligger i tiden eftersom det diskuteras på många håll att man strävar åt ett mer jämlikt samhälle. Vi har fått stor hjälp med att få fram information om projektet och enheten av piketen i Stockholm där vi gjort ett studiebesök.

Efterfrågepriselasticitet är en väldigt viktig faktor i processen för strategiskt beslutfattande, främst då det gäller prissättningen. Beslutsfattarna vill veta hur en prishöjning kommer att påverka försäljningen av produkten/tjänsten. De kan också ta hjälp av efterfrågepriselasticiteten om deras mål är att vinna marknadsandelar och beräkna hur mycket priset bör sänkas för att få en viss antal nya kunder. Priselasticiteten på efterfrågan av kollektivtrafiken kan ha många olika användningsområden. Eftersom prissättningen av en sådan tjänst inte bara påverkar hur många personer kommer att använda sig av kollektivtrafiken utan att också hur många bilar som kommer att finnas ut på vägarna, är det en viktig faktor för en (nuförtiden väldigt eftersträvat) effektiv miljöpolitik.

Stockholms varietéteater är en ideell teaterförening som har sina kontor och replokaler i Sorunda utanför Nynäshamn. Teaterföreningen hade en önskan om en mobil spelplats för sina evenemang, den skulle relativt befintliga konstruktioner snabbt kunna resas utan stor arbetsinsats, dessutom rymma minst 150 personer och klara säkerhetskraven som bl.a. räddningsverket ställer på tillfälliga byggnader. Ett annat krav var att konstruktionen skulle kunna resas, rivas och stå utan markankare. Med en sådan konstruktion skulle man nå ut till en ny publik och inte vara beroende av inhyrd arbetskraft och lokaler.

Det finns en tydlig trend att soloföretagandet ökar i tjänstesektorn. På grund av effektiviseringar, politiska sysselsättningsåtgärder tvingas och lockas allt fler till att starta företag för att hålla sig kvar på arbetsmarknaden. År 2003 stod soloföretagen för 58% av det totala antalet företagskonkurser. Anledningen till detta är dels okunskapen som finns när man tvingas ut i företagande, men framförallt resurssvaghet. För att klara sig i hård konkurrens behöver soloföretagen någon form av resurskomplettering.

The aim of this study is to examine educationalists experiences of play as an educational toolin the work to promote the social development in children with autism.The relevant issue, for this study, is: In what way does an educationalist work with play withchildren with autism? What are the results of using play in the educational work? What arethe possibilities and what are the obstacles in using play in educational work?This study has been carried out as a study of literature in the field and qualitative interviewswith five educationalists that are working in a mid Swedish county.The result of the study shows that educationalists have a positive view of using play in theirwork and are using play in varying ways in their everyday work. Using play as a method intheir work always happens according to the ability and condition of the child. They (theeducationalists) think that play has great opportunity and advance as a method and gives thechildren joy, increase their sense of ability, the base for the social participation in play, andthe development of social skills.There is a certain hesitation among educationalists when it comes to using play as a methodfor children with autism , but the most of the educationalists consider play as promoting thesocial development although the development always will happen at the pace(rate)of thechild..

The county council of Värmland is taking part in a larger project which in general consists of surveying malign melanoma within different families. Counties in Sweden are following-up on patients suffering from malign melanoma, which is likely to have inheritable causes. When a suspected heritable malign melanoma is found an investigation is started. A pedigree is drawn, describing the propositus? family.Every individual in the pedigree is represented by a symbol.

?Förbättrad livskvalitet på landsbygden? är ett av flera mål som är angett av EU och som ska förverkligas via medlemsländernas nationella landsbygdsprogram. Programmet har arbetats fram för att åtgärda de ?brister? som må råda på landsbygden. Syftet med kandidatuppsatsen är att undersöka hur livskvalitet kommer till uttryck via landsbygdsprogrammet hemma/här i Sverige.

This study elucidates the feelings and the experiences by working with the complex of problems of self-injurious behaviour, of six professionals. The purpose with this study has been to examine the feelings and the experiences of the professionals, coming up when they meet and treat young girls with self-injurious behaviour. The empirical basis of this study is built on interviews of six female professionals, working in the County of Kalmar. The statements of the informants were analyzed out of Goffman?s Role Theory and the norm perspective on social behaviour.

The study was conducted in Jönköping County Chamber of fibrillation and is about change and improvement of process modeling technology. The process for treating patients with fibrillation is in the need to evolve and improve. In order to develop the care they needed a current state description which usually is made with the traditional process modeling tool.Many scientists and health professionals is in the opinion that this technology gives a too rigid image to describe the care processes. It also does not sufficiently take into account the human aspects. This reasoning suggests that the process modeling technology in healthcare is in the need to develop multiple perspectives.

This Master Thesis within Marketing and Strategy investigates the values customers perceive within the Real Estate market in the inner City of Stockholm. The dependent variable is customer satisfaction, and it could be explained by 1) the feeling of light and uniqueness of the apartment, 2) that the apartment is of a satisfying size, 3) the address of the apartment, 4) and the economics, the common areas of the building, and the bidding process. The feeling of light and uniqueness, combined with the number of square meters, and the monthly fee of the apartment, are also identified as the price driven functions of this market. A quantitative method is used to investigate the market, where 107 apartment buyers completed a survey..

Effects of fishery closure on perch was detected as female perch was on average 5 cm longer in closed areas compared to non-closed areas. This could be a result of larger individuals surviving as an effect of reduced fishing. No effect was detected on the reproduction rate of YOY (young of the year) perch.A zooplankton survey revealed less amounts of the most important plankton groups for YOY perch in areas with failed reproduction, though the difference was statistically insignificant.The distribution of YOY perch and YOY/adult stickleback differed completely in this study with no area where the two species are both present. It is sketchy to draw any conclusions from this data but it remains a field for further investigation.The reproduction problem is concentrated to the outer parts of the archipelago which confirms previous studies of the geographic extension..

I Sverige finns idag många som är ideellt engagerade och många utav dem återfinns inom idrotten. Tusentals individer är engagerade som tränare och ledare på ideell basis. Denna studie syftade till att förstå hur individen själv ser på sitt engagemang, vad som motiverade honom/henne att engagera sig från början samt hur man kan göra engagemanget mer långsiktigt. Sju kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med ideellt engagerade tränare i en av Stockholms större simföreningar. Materialet tolkades med hjälp av induktiv tematisk analys.

Detta är ett resultat av ett forskningsarbete jag genomförde under hösten 2013. Jag undersökte Stockholms sociala streetdancekultur och tolkade denna utifrån ritteori. Jag granskade dess definitioner, ursprung och sociala knytpunkter för att vidare undersöka hur den upplevs av de som tar del av och bygger upp den. Materialet samlade jag in genom personliga intervjuer med människor som på olika sätt är med och skapar detta sociala närverk och som alla kunde berätta om dess olika beståndsdelar, aktiviteter och betydelsen av dessa. Att tolka detta utifrån en förståelse om att de aktiviteter som ingår i streetdancekulturen kan liknas vid rituella handlingar gav förståelse för hur verkningsfulla aktiviteterna är gällande social integration.

A high degree of urbanization with growing cities has raised a need of transforming closed landfill sites for giving them new uses. This study aims to investigate how old landfills can be re-used, what has lead to the new uses, and for what and whom the transformed site will be an asset. The method used is a case study of four different landfills in Stockholm county, Sweden. The case study is analyzed in the light of former studies regarding re-use of degraded urban areas, so called brownfields, and in particular studies and reports of landfill re-use. The result indicates that old landfill sites is identified as an area with possible values if transformed properly, in the case study area especially as green structure and recreation areas.

The county of Dalarna is at present carrying through a process of digitalization where traditional x-ray film is being replaced with digital detectors. Earlier used methods for dose optimization turned out not being sufficient. This report presents a method to harmonize dose levels between x- ray sites equipped with Fujifilm imaging plate systems. An exposure index, S, related to the dose level of the examination is computed to every x-ray image. S turned out to be inversely proportional to the detector dose used at the examination.
