This paper intends to examine how parents think and reflect on gender issues when they borrow books for their children at the library. The theory applied is Yvonne Hirdman?s theory of a gender system. A questionnaire was made available at the Children's department of Uppsala City Library in February, 2010. The material was compiled and analyzed with the intention to try to detect trends, patterns and themes, rather than Statistics and hard data.Parents in the study perceive themselves as gender-conscious.

I och med att företag kontinuerligt investerar i immateriella tillgångar kan inte längre den traditionella finansiella redovisningen exakt uppskatta ett företags verkliga värde.Syfte: Studien syftar till att undersöka relationen mellan intern rapportering av intellektuellt kapital och företags grad av radikal och inkrementell innovation.Teori: Avsnittet är indelat i två delar. Del ett handlar om intellektuellt kapital och intern rapportering av intellektuellt kapital. Del två ger en beskrivning av olika typer av innovation.Metod: Studien baseras på en surveyundersökning vilken utformades webbenkätprogrammet SurveyMonkey. Enkäterna skickades till företag noterade på NASDAQ OMX Small Cap och Mid Cap lista.

The aim of this study is to examine the significance of having a music department at the public library in Enköping, and how the organization of the phonograms is handled. The different areas examined are the reason of the reintroduction of a music department, its budget, its users, the work with selection, the marketing, statistical data concerning loans, the work with classification, indexing, and organization of the phonograms and the future of the music department. The empirical material consists of qualitative interviews with staff connected to the music department at the public library in Enköping. For the theoretical frame, Sanna Taljas discourse analysis of music libraries in Finland is used. Talja presents three discourses which all show different views on what kind of material a music library should contain.

Bakgrund: Depression är vanligt förekommande och forskning visar att kosten har betydelse för hur vi mår. Intresset för sambandet mellan kost och depression har ökat, men fortfarande saknas viktig information om kostvanor hos denna målgrupp.Syfte: Studiens syfte var att kartlägga kostvanor vid nedstämdhet alternativt depression hos individer över 15 år och relatera dessa till Svenska Näringsrekommendationer, för att införskaffa en översiktlig bild samt ge anvisning om eventuella förbättringsområden.Metod: En kvantitativmetod valdes i form av en enkätundersökning, med sex områden i fokus. Enkäten distribuerades via vårdgivare och fanns även tillgänglig via Internet. Inhämtat data analyserades via SPSS Statistics Desktop V22.Resultat: Hälften av respondenterna uppfattade sin kosthållning som ohälsosam. Mindre än hälften följde Svenska Näringsrekommendationer om tre större mål per dag.

The aim of this essay was to investigate the effects of adopting a site to the UNESCOs World Heritage List. Thefocus laid on the example of the Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland, which was the most recent Swedishadoption. With the question of impact of the World Heritage List in mind, the region of Hälsingland became themain focus. The study was made with particular focus on Gästgivars, a farm located in the municipality ofBollnäs, to which the theory of social life of things was applied. The result of the World Heritage was, in the caseof Gästgivars, an increase of the cultural value and social status.This case study has shown that the impact of the nomination has not been immense, but suggests that longtermeffects can show.

This study analyses the economic consequences due to ethanol production in Eastern Sweden. The analyses consider the cooperative and the farmers as one vertically integrated company. The area that found the market in this study is illustrated in figure 1. The analyses assume that all members act jointly with the objective of maximizing joint profits at the farm level as well as at the cooperative firm. A mathematical model is created to calculate the optimal use of arable land.

The purpose of this thesis is to show what advantages and opportunities social media offer for B2B-companies (business-to-business), and how they can be used for marketing communications.We have studied how companies can use social media, for example evolving the organization, developing products/services, staying up-to-date, building relations, creating customer loyalty and engagement, building the company?s identity and image, and affecting the buying decisions. We have also studied how B2B-companies can choose media channels, set goals, and measure the results.We have carried out interviews, through phone and visits, with four chosen companies that fit our criterias: Swedish B2B-company that is successful in social media.The result of the interviews show that B2B-companies use social media for various purposes, for example networking (to create and build long term relations with other companies) and to improve the company?s image among the end customers. Most of our interviewees reach their end customers (consumers) in first place and customers (companies) in second place, since many B2B-companies do not yet use social media.Half of our respondents mention that social media should not be used for advertising and campaigns (one way communication).

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet är att ta reda på om en utökad undervisning i idrott och hälsa har ett samband på skolelevers motoriska färdigheter. Detta syfte kommer vi undersöka genom att besvara frågorna ?hur ser de motoriska färdigheterna ut hos eleverna i en Bunkefloskola jämfört med i SIH-projektet?? och ?finns det något/några områden inom de motoriska färdigheterna där skillnaderna är särskilt utmärkande??MetodDatainsamlingen bestod av två stycken observationstillfällen där vi observerade 60 elever, från en Bunkefloskola i Sverige. Eleverna uförde NyTidstestet som syftar till att testa deras allsidiga rörelsekompetens. Skolan som eleverna går på arbetar med Bunkeflomodellen som karaktäriseras av att ha fysisk aktivitet på schemat varje skoldag.

The purpose of this paper is to see how differences are handled in preschools, with a focus on children with homo- or bisexual parents. By doing this we wanted to see how the conditions for a child with homo- or bisexual parents looks like, in order to have their family conditions mirrored, confirmed and visualised in the preschool.The foundation for the discussion is a questionaire which has been answered by 229 preschool workers from 24 different preschools in the City of Stockholm. The result of the questionaire has been handled in a Statistics program. Our analysis is based on the statistical numbers and the written replies to the open questions in the questionaire.As a theoretical starting point we have used Iris Marion Young?s ideas about how our society is coloured by an ideal of similarity that defines liberation as the transcendence of group difference, where the dominant group cannot see how their perspective is just one of several perspectives.

Something Stadium found interesting was the possibility of introducing elements that would increase the conversion rates directly into the product menu. This study explores the possibility to find a responsive solution for the product menu at Stadiums? e-commerce website which could contribute to increased conversion rates.The study is built upon an experiment and the foundations of the experiment is based upon a market analysis of used design patterns for product navigation in the domain of sport resellers.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka metoder lärare använder vid undervisning för hållbar utveckling i grundskolans tidigare år. För att operationalisera begreppet hållbar utveckling i vår studie använde vi oss av fyra av de förmågor som presenteras i Inger Björneloos studie; förmågan att se helheter och sammanhang, förmågan att med inlevelse ha förståelse för andra människors livssituation, förmågan att se sin delaktighet och sitt ansvar samt förmågan att argumentera för olika ståndpunkter. Vi undersökte i vilken utsträckning relationen mellan lärares metodval och ett specifikt undervisningsinnehåll överensstämmer med de miljöundervisningstraditioner som växt fram i den svenska skolan. Studien bygger på en enkät som delades ut till lärare i en liten kommun i Sverige. För att analysera våra data använde vi oss till viss del av programmet IBM SPSS Statistics 22.Resultatet visade att det inte var några markanta skillnader gällande lärares metodval vid undervisning för hållbar utveckling.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the regulatory power, efficiency and impact of export control on Swedish arms export from the 1980s onwards, linked to the delegation of authority of permit license to the Inspectorate of Strategic Products in 1997. An increase in the administrative sector, based on a collective decision making process and established criteria and guidelines, aimed to strengthen the control of arms export to non-democratic and problematic states. In short, the aim of the study is to investigate and analyze whether there was a decrease in the arms export to problematic states or not. On one hand, it is reasonable to assume that the introduction of the new regulation entailed a more strict arms export policy. However, previous research has showed that regulations are sometimes not effective since incentives to breach these may be present.The study begins by examining the Swedish case and situation in terms of arms manufacturing and export, as well as the delegation of authority and legislation applied to the field over time.

The subject of sms-loans is examined by using primary and secondary sources?. This form of credit is formally independent from other obligations with a very short credit period and the amount of the loan is low. This form of credits is applied by mobile phones and on the internet by several companies, some of them are presented in this essay. These type of creditors do not come under any sanctions from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority as is customary for other creditors, they only need to register.

Vi människor ingår i ett flertal olika grupper i vårt vardagliga liv då exempelvis våra arbetskamrater utgör en grupp och våra familjer utgör en annan. Med hjälp av Internet och teknikens framsteg har nya mötesplatser framkommit i form av virtuella världar där nya typer av grupper skapas. Här möts gruppmedlemmarna inte ansikte mot ansikte utan har i många fall endast textbaserad kommunikation som hjälpmedel vid interaktionen med andra personer. På dessa mötesplatser umgås människor från hela världen med varandra, löser uppgifter tillsammans eller bara pratar med varandra. Denna interagering förekommer ofta dagligen men det är väldigt sällan dessa människor träffas i fysisk mening.

In Sweden exist a Swedish institute for children?s book which is a national information center. They have an annual "Book tasting" where they present Statistics and trends from the latest publications of literature for youth and children.In their ?book tasting?? from 2010 a number of picture books had, as they say, children who descend from non-Swedish culture (Swedish institute for children?s book, 2010). The aim of this thesis is to investigate how the ethnical diversity describes in these picture books from 2010. To understand how the ethnical diversity describes in these books I had two questions which helped me in my research.
