Gravitational lenses are unlike ordinary optical lenses, a phenomenon corrupting our optical view of the cosmos. When we look out intospace we see celestial bodies lying with astronomical distance from Earth. There is no guarantee that what we see out there in space is actually there where we are observing it, and it may be that we see multiple images of the same star! Studies have shown that thenumber of distorted images of an n-mass (n > 1) plane lens can not exceed 5(n -1) for lighter lenses or 5n for more massive lens. This mathematical thesis covers gravitational lensing and their properties that distort light rays coming towards us from distant celestial bodies. In addition of gravitational lensing, its properties and the proof of the maximum number of distorted images, a bigger part of this work even cover two very interesting mathematical tools - the so-called Schwarz function and Bezout theorem..

The purpose of this essay is to examine the Swedish relations to Nato and by doing so see on what terms the cooperation is executed and why. However, Sweden is not a member of Nato and is thereby not seen as an ally of the organization but even so Sweden has a close cooperation with Nato. The theories used in this essay is The Rational Actor Model and The Organizational Behaviour Model by Graham Allison and Philip Zelikow. To this a number of additional theorises are used as to complement these two main theories. The aim with these theories is to see which one gives the most satisfying explanation of the Swedish strategy to cooperate with Nato and still not be a member of the alliance or if all theorises are needed.

This thesis gives a theoretical overview on strategic alliances and builds the basis for the following examination of the different dimensions most strategic alliances have. The examination of the different dimensions is the crucial point of this thesis. Here the reader gets a detailed insight into the different dimensions and the implications they have on the design of a particular strategic alliance. This examination leads in the end to a more differentiated view on strategic alliances and the insight that no simple models exist, which give a sufficient basis for decision-making and understanding strategic alliances, today.

För bästa möjliga prestanda måste ejektorn och utblåsröret som leder luften dimensioneras efter motor och flyghastighet.En 3-dimensionell CAD modell av flygplanets installation skapades och därefter simulerats i en virtuell vindtunnel med hjälp av datorprogrammet SolidWorks Flow Simulation. En effektiv och populär grafisk effekt för realtidsgrafik är Screen-Space Ambient Occlusion(SSAO). Teknikens nackdel är brusiga artefakter som kan dämpas med blur filtrering. Detta arbete studerar upplevelsen av defekterna i SSAO med en användarstudie. Arbetet implementerar en renderare som renderar bildrutor från kameraåkningar och ett visningsprogram som används i experimentgenomförandet. The goal with our research has been to describe how often and in what way female athletes are represented in the sport section in Sweden?s biggest evening newspaper Aftonbladet. The material we?ve used are the newspapers that we collected during two weeks in 2008, the 3rd of November to the 9th of November and the 11th of November to the 17th of November. We?ve conduced two qualitative researches ? a text analysis and an image analysis ? and one quantitative analysis on our material.

Syftet med denna studie är att bidra till en pedagogisk diskussion om arbetet mot mobbning och trakasserier. Genom att undersöka lärares och fritidspedagogers uppfattning om förutsättningarna att arbeta mot mobbning och trakasserier i samarbete mellan skola och fritidsverksamheten. Studien består av analyser av enkätintervjuer och djupintervjuer med fritidspedagoger och lärare. Avsikten med intervjuerna är att undersöka likheter och skillnader i fritidspedagogers definitioner av och hur de arbetar mot kränkande behandling. Resultatet visar att respondenterna anser att kränkande behandling som visserligen inte ska förekomma i skola eller på fritidshem kan vara svårt och speciellt att använda en övergripande strategi mot kränkande behandling som fungerar.

The aim of this paper is to examine venture capital in football player contracts in Sweden. This is a phenomena that have existed in Sweden since 1999 when the company Djurgården fotboll AB was founded, since then eight other companies have been started. These companies form an alliance with a football club and invest in player contracts. These contracts have high risk since it is valued by the performance of the contracted player. The venture capital firms have no formal control over their investments and they are showing negative results.

It is a comparative study with a starting point based on the work Star, 2002 by Nathalia Edenmont, Helena, 2000 by Marco Evaristti and Eres lo que lees, 2007 by Guillermo Vargas. I examine why dead animals in art upsets and provokes us, and why the artists choses to use dead animals as material in their artworks. I do this by the help och Steve Baker and Anthony Julius theories concerning animals in art and transgressive art.

Background: During the last decades patient satisfaction has become an important measurement of quality in psychiatric care. However the patients are seldom asked to evaluate the treatments.Objectives: The aim is to determine which factors the outpatients regard as beneficial in their psychiatric treatment. The purpose is explorative. During the study another purpose developed; to present research on the importance of the relationship between the caretaker and the caregiver for the outcome.Method: 30 persons were interviewed about what they found helpful in psychiatric treatment. The interviews were open using Grounded Theory as methodological input.Result: The most prominent topic was the quality of the relationship between the caregiver and the caretaker.

Mellan åren 2008 och 2013 försattes i snitt 6260 företag i konkurs per år. Konkurser påverkar företagsägare, leverantörer, anställda, staten och samhället negativt. För företag nära konkurs finns möjlighet att försöka rädda företaget, genom företagsrekonstruktion. Det överordnade målet med företagsrekonstruktion är att rädda värdefulla affärsrörelser, undvika kapitalförstörelse samt att återställa livskraften i företag. Under perioden 2008-2013 genomförde 1045 företag rekonstruktion men endast 18 % överlevde.

This thesis examines the possible beneficial effects of a temporary cooperation between a national brand and a private brand. The main hypothesis suggests that if a national brand wants to make a category extension to a remote product category, it should be able to decrease its risk by affiliating itself with a private brand. The national brand should through such a brand alliance be able to borrow some of the flexible characteristics that a private brand possesses to increase its associations with the new category. The survey consisted of 800 questionnaires with different cooperations between a private brand (ICA) and two national brands (Tropicana and Bravo). These were handed out to students in the universities of Stockholm.

The aim of this study was to investigate how various professions within the treatment of ADHD is working with the diagnosis and the importance of the diagnosis has been at work. We also want to investigate what the different professions think of the diagnosis, what it has for opportunities or limitations in treatment. The chosen professions are two nurses, two treatment assistants, a psychologist and a psychotherapist. When we interviewed our chosen professions, we have used a qualitative approach with semistructured interviews. Through our interviews we got the opportunity to take part in the various professions' knowledge and experience of working with teenagers who have ADHD.
