Along with rising energy prices and increasing awareness of environmental issues, the criteria for buildings energy performance have been sharpened through the years. Today, ?passive house? and ?low energy house? are commonly used phrases in the construction industry and is expected to become increasingly common in the future.For houses with well-insulated building envelope the importance of well constructed details increases when minimizing the heat losses. Examples of these details are floor-wall junction and window openings in the wall. In such connections thermal bridges occur, which means that heat more easily is transported out of the building, compared to the rest of the building envelope.This report deals with detail solutions around windows and a comparison between a traditional slab and a foundation from Koljern consisting of foam glass.

Syftet med examensarbetet var att kartlägga och ta fram riktlinjer för egenkontroll hos Pharmadule Emtunga AB. Med egenkontroll menar Pharmadule Emtunga AB den kvalitetskontroll som operatörerna utför för att säkerställa att produkten har tillfredsställande kvalitet innan frisläppning till nästa moment. Ett antal intervjuer och fallstudier utfördes för att kartlägga nuläget av egenkontroll och för att få en bättre uppfattning var den största förbättringspotentialen fanns. Författarna kom fram till att det fanns störst ekonomisk vinning i att utveckla egenkontrollen av struktursvetsar. Därför har mestadels av examensarbetet varit inriktat mot detta problem.

Electronic data interchange (EDI) är en teknik vilken används för att utbyta elektroniska dokument mellan köpare och säljare. Dessa dokument överförs på en strikt elektronisk Standardiserad väg, dokumenten kan vara fakturor, beställningsformulär, leveransplaner etc. EDI har funnits i över 25år och är vida spridd över världen. För att använda EDI krävs det stora resurser i form av kapital och kunskap. Små och medelstora företag har ofta inte de resurser som krävs för att kunna använda EDI.Nya tekniker utvecklas ständigt.

Detta examensarbete har utförts i samarbete Statens Fastighetsverk. I dagsläget pågår renoveringen av Nationalmuseum där byggnaden skall återställas till sitt ursprung och ett nytt ventilationssystem skall tillgodose ett stabilt inneklimat för bevarandet av museiföremålen. Examensarbetet undersöker hur de krav som ställs på ventilationssystemet kan kombineras med de begränsningar som byggnadens kulturminnesmärkning medför genom att besvara frågan ?Hur kombinerar man dagens behov av installationer med en kulturhistorisk byggnad utan att påverka det kulturhistoriska värdet?? För att exemplifiera denna problematik presenterar vi ett principiellt lösningsförslag för installationssamordningen till en utvald del av byggnaden.Ventilationsförsörjningen till utställningssalarna på Plan 4 utgör ett av de svåraste samordningsområdena i byggnaden. Det valda utrymmet för lösningsförslaget är bjälklaget på Plan 6 som skall försörja en av dessa salar.

Marknadsvärdet på bostadsrättslägenheter ändras kontinuerligt men det är först vid försäljning som värdet konkretiseras och fastställs. En av mäklarens uppgifter blir att sätta ett utgångspris som i sin tur ska leda till ett försäljningspris. Som studenter på fastighetsekonomiprogrammet har vi saknat en tydlig förklaring till hur värderingen praktiskt går till väga och om det finns grundläggande faktorer som gäller alla mäklare. Syftet med uppsatsen är därför att studera vilka olika aspekter en fastighetsmäklare väger in vid en värdering av en bostadsrättslägenhet. Vi har då utgått ifrån redan kända teorier och sedan undersökt hur de påverkar värderingen och om det finns ytterligare faktorer.I intervjuer med fastighetsmäklare verksamma i Karlstad har vi undersökt påverkan av faktorer som läget, månadsavgiften, Standard, skick, storlek, ränta och tidigare försäljningar.

The purpose of this study has been to examine the archival management at the 14 Student Nations in Uppsala. This may be relevant to study to extend the research in the field that Berndt Frediksson calls ?empirical archival science?. Another reason is that the Student Nations hold a unique position as organisations and their archivists holds a unique position from a professional point of view as they mostly consist of students without professional archivist training. I have mainly focused on why the archival management at the Nations looked as they did.

PROFINET är en öppen Standard för industriellt Ethernet, som uppfyller alla behov inom automation. PROFINET gör det möjligt att koppla in det befintliga fältbussystemet, till exempel PROFIBUS utan att det behöver ändras, genom ett så kallat proxy. PROFINET finns i två utförande PROFINET IO och PROFINET CBA, där IO är en decentral lösning och CBA är en komponentbaserad lösning. PROFINET använder sig av tre olika kommunikationskanaler för att skicka och ta emot data. Detta gör att företag successivt kan gå över till PROFINET utan större omkostnader som det skulle innebära om hela anläggningen skulle behöva byggas om.

Aqeri has since the past year a new profile with name and logotype, which has createda need for an updated visual product identity. The company is a leading developer,producer and distributer of IT products suitable for extreme environments in industry,defense and vehicles. This new profile with the different segments has together with aproduct identity from two companies resulted in that they have no clear designidentity on their products. From this background the aim of this research is todetermine how a development of a design identity is done to implement it to Aqeri.The design identity can be defined as a product?s identity visualized through its formor appearance which defines what the product is.

During the cultivation season there are a several cropping activities to carry out. At what time these activities are carried out is affecting the result and also on the economy of the crop production. As the production costs are high in potato production, it is important to keep an eye on the economy. Profitability is the most important factor in most crop production systems. If the costs are not covered, it is difficult to justify the production.

A key part in the development and verification of digital systems is simulation. But hardware simulators are expensive, and software simulation is not fast enough for designs with a large number of gates. As today?s digital zesigns constantly grow in size (number of gates), and that trend shows no signs to end, faster simulators handling millions of gates are needed. We investigate how to create a software gate-level simulator able to simulate a high number of gates fast.

The division of Electricity at Uppsala University is developing a wave energy converter(WEC) consisting of a linear generator connected to a bouy at the water surfacethrough a wire cable called the connection line.During extreme conditions, the wave power plant will experience forces up to 500kN, which lead to unnecessary wear and will ultimately cause the failure of theconverter. To prevent this there is a need for a damper.The wave energy converter works at a maximum efficiency when the translator?sare centered with respect to the stator. Due to tidal movements the position of thetranslator can deviate. There for a mechanical divice that will compensate for this isneeded.This report describes the further development of an earlier project where a tidalwave compensator for a wave energy converter of Seabased AB was developed.

ABSTRACTBackground Calprotectin is a protein found in the cytoplasm of neutrophile granulocytes. In the course of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), calprotectin is released during chronic inflammation in the gut. Activation of neutrophils during the inflammation is followed by activation and secretion of pro-inflammatory molecules such as calprotectin. Calprotectin is stable in stool up to 7 days and can therefore be used as a non-invasive marker for diagnosis, treatment and measurement of the disease activity in patients with IBD. The most common method for analysis of calprotectin concentration is ELISA.

Mapping a process enables a greater understanding of the work, and is Standard to evaluate and improve a process. This thesis is conducted at Test Bed Mechanical Design at Scania in Södertälje. Test Bed Construction is a complex process, characterized by a large amount of creative work, technical challenges and coordination between different people and different organizational functions.The aim of the thesis was to identify the Test Bed Construction Process and to develop a visual model of the workflow that also served as support for the engineers in their daily work. During the mapping process, comparisons were made with previous research in lean product development to identify process improvement.A literature review on process mapping and process visualisation resulted in a method for process mapping. The study showed that research on process visualisation is neither structured nor well defined.

Presently Sjöfartsverket do their maintenance according to a Standard program, which means that every maintenance task will be done when the task limit occurs. This leads to a very long downtime for the aircraft in some occasions and very short downtime in others. The goal with this work is to reach a higher regularity of the aircraft operation. To reach a higher regularity for the operational needs, this work will present a hypothetic better maintenance concept for Swedish Maritime Administration. The concept is based on equalized maintenance structure, which means that every maintenance occasions are meant to take the same time to perform.

Forming teacher teams is currently the Standard way of organizing teachers in Swedish Compulsory Schools. This is the result of a process that started in the 1970s.Traditionally the culture of teaching has been one of isolation. Once the door to the classroom is shut, what happens behind the door is up to the teacher to decide. Over the past thirty years a lot of time has been dedicated to making fundamental changes in the way teachers interact with their colleagues. Today the idea of teachers forming teams is generally accepted but still the core of a Swedish teacher?s job is that of a lone worker.
