När man utvecklar en ny produkt eller tjänst står man ofta inför valet av dataformat. De mest använda idag är JSON och XML. Formaten ser väldigt olika ut, erbjuder olika funktioner, men används inte sällan till samma sak. Vilket som egentligen är snabbast finns det mycket åsikter om, men inte lika mycket testresultat. Den luckan skall detta arbete täcka. Programmeringsspråken som används är Python och JavaScript, vilka båda är populära på webben. Genom experiment testas hur snabbt JSON och XML kan kodas och avkodas.

The examination of the adequate nature conservation methods in a natural reserve, to conserve a specific species and / or increase biological diversity is the subject of this study. This work is based on four species, that can be found during the Spring season, liverleaf, wood anemone, brimstone and woodpecker. The incidence and availability is studied and closely observed for these species in twenty forests, i.e. ten forests which are nature reserves and ten forests with the similar characteristics as the nature reserves habitat, but are not nature reserves in Gnesta mucipality, Södermanland. Measurements of the tree crown and the diameter of the tree trunks where noted to study how these factors could affect the outcome of the abundance and incidence of the four species.

The purpose of this paper is to contribute to a deeper understanding about the acceptance of wind power. Our basic assumption is that local conditions are important and can explain how the acceptance of change at different stages of establishment. The main purpose is to see if there are differences in the acceptance of wind power in different stages, and examine the factors that influence acceptance. That includes how people in three different areas of study estimates that they value their environment and how it is affected by wind turbines. The project was conducted interdisciplinary geo-targeted and consists of three parts.

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a versatile wireless technology usedworldwide. The goal was to, based on a UHF RFID-chipdesign a fully functional, small in size and power efficient device. Amicrocontroller provides the user interface and is also used to control theRFID-chip and a Bluetooth device.

I denna rapport undersöks hur elektroniska böcker (eBooks) enligt standarden Open eBook Publication Structure kan komprimeras på ett effektivt sätt. Anledningen till att området valts är att en välanvänd standard för eBooks inte finns för tillfället. Standarden är relativt ny och senaste versionen av specifikationen har kommit ut under 2002. Med i utvecklingen av standarden finns många stora företag som exempelvis Adobe Systems Inc. och Palm Digital Media.

There are several ways of conducting software testing where some may include users and others may include personnel whose work task is to execute test on systems. Although most developers and project managers understand the point of testing the system, it is not always being done and the most common reason is that there is no time for it. However, this is a false assumption as it may instead cause some bugs in the system that would not have been there in the first place if tests had been there to prevent bugs in the code.My purpose for this thesis was to find suggestions for changes in the development process in an ongoing project used by Acino and Svenska Försäkringsfabriken in order to increase the quality of the system used. In this thesis, I have approached the purpose by pursuing a case study of the two companies through observation and interviews. By doing this I acquired the relevant information to make suggestions for change.

At the beginning of 2011, Sweden started using the European rules for structural design, the Eurocodes, instead of the previous national rules. In both the previous rules and the Eurocodes, it is possible to dimension concrete columns using tabled values. However, the required cross section measurements have increased considerably. Projektets syfte var att undersöka en nyframtagen värmeväxlarpanels kyl- och värmeeffekt. Arbetet utfördes åt företaget Panelito i en av Chalmers Fastigheters lokaler där paneler monterades. Vid testerna mättes temperaturer och flöden på luft och vatten in och ut ur systemet under en timmes tid per test.Avgränsningar som gjordes var att testerna inte utfördes enligt ISO-standard, vilket skulle innebära en sluten kammare, stationära förhållanden och noggrant kalibrerad utrustning med mycket små mätfel. Det togs heller inte hänsyn till tryckskillnader i luftsystemet.Kyleffekten blev som bäst 83.0 W och värmeeffekten blev som bäst 211.9 W. Resultaten jämfördes med en annan typ av vanligt kylsystem, kylbafflar.

In this degree project I write about how the farmers who grows carrots in Sweden get influenced by different rules, investments and demands. The Swedish agriculture are heading towards a harder time, and then you have to find new things to do. Now its hardly no profit to grow grain so you have find other crops. This paper is not a comparison between the contract cultivation to Findus and the cultivation where the farmer maked his products by a own company on the farm. If you have a small processing company on the farm, you have to increase the standard with different certificate. The farmer binds a lot of capital in machines, both field and in the process.

Vi lever i ett stressigt samhälle där allt skall fungera och tiden är emot oss för det mesta. Ifall det gick att schemalägga alla händelser som skall och borde göras i ett gemensamt kalendersystem så skulle det förenkla situationen för många personer, som skall träffas eller andra händelser som kan uppstå. I detta arbete undersöks det ifall en ny öppen standard för kalenderöverföringar skulle fungera, samt om den är tillräckligt bra för att användas, eller om den skall undvikas. Inom arbetet implementeras en prototyp som baseras på denna kalenderöverföringsstandard. Den prototyp som framtogs, tillhandahåller de grundläggande funktionerna i CAP, jämförs med Microsoft Exchange.

SVENSKA: Vårt kandidatarbete gick ut på att ta reda på om det var möjligt att utveckla ett kort spel i hög teknisk kvalitet och ändå skapa ett djupt intryck på spelaren. Under projektets gång utvecklade vi, med hjälp av UDK (Unreal Development Kit), ett skräckspel i 3D till PC vid namn The Horror at MS Aurora. För att erhålla den höga tekniska kvaliteten som vi var ute efter användes metoder som räknas som standard för stora speltitlar på marknaden: Animationer spelades in med Motion Capture och musiken skrevs med en full symfoniorkester i åtanke. Innan produktionsfasen tog vid gick alla gruppmedlemmarna igenom en research-fas, där var och en satte sig in i de områden som skulle komma att vara aktuella under produktionen (d.v.s. hur UDK fungerar, musikteori och orkestrationsteknik, hur man arbetar med Motion Capture-data o.s.v.).

Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet substance that prevents blood coagulation in the arteries. It is an inactive pro drug that becomes activated after first-pass metabolism by the liver. The active metabolite of clopidogrel is 2-oxoclopidogrel, which is unstable therefore pharmacokinetic data is obtained by measuring the inactive metabolite clopidogrel acid in plasma. Clopidogrel is taken orally in tablet form. The aim of this project was to develop a LC-MS/MS method for quantification of clopidogrel and its metabolite in plasma. The method has been developed by optimizing the sample preparation.

We got in contact with Marco AB, who we?ve had contact with before concerning earlier projects, to find out if they were interested in arranging a larger project for our last class (Examensarbete 15hp). They were very positive to this proposition, and soon they offered us a project regarding reconstruction of their current mechanical device that absorbs all the force from the lift itself when it is at a predefined level (sv. sjunkspärr). The current solution does fulfill the requirements that are given, however it is not a solution that gives a high level of satisfactory.

This is a report founded on a project by Atlas Copco called NYSTAB.  The application Nystab is a calculation program that can calculate the stability of the rockdrill-rigs made by Atlas Copco. The original version of Nystab is stored in a database from 1997 and the code is made in an old version of Visual Basic. My assignment was to develop the application in to a newer programming environment and make it last better in the upcoming years. The software I decided to use to accomplish this project is C# .NET in Visual Studio and Microsoft Access 2010. All the code is written in C# with some insertions from ADO.NET which helped me to easier connect the code with the database.The coding part was split into two pieces; the first was to develop the application scale done with Windows Forms, the second was to write the code for calculations in the application.

Från och med 1 januari, 2005 måste alla börsnoterade bolag i Sverige föra olika optionsprogram som en kostnad i sin resultaträkning. Det innebar att dessa bolag måste kostnadsföra utgivna optionsprogram till sina anställda.Före införandet av IFRS 2 fanns ingen standard för svenska företag som beskrev hur dessa optionsprogram skulle redovisas. Diskussionerna kring införandet var omfattande då man menade att standarden skulle få konsekvenser i form av en betydande nedgång av resultatet hos berörda företag då en extra kostnadspost skulle redovisas.Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vad införandet av IFRS 2 haft för effekt och på vilket sätt kostnadsföringen av optionsprogram har påverkat resultatet hos börsnoterade företag. Detta kommer att visas genom att studera de berörda företagens årsredovisningar.Vi har undersökt vilken procentuell skillnad resultatet fått genom att redovisas enligt den nya standarden. Kostnaden för aktierelaterade ersättningar har även ställts i relation till årets resultat och omsättning för att visa hur stor andel av dessa som utgörs av denna kostnad.
