This report describes honey, its origin, properties and effects on human health. Honey has been used for a long time in most civilizations and apiculture is an important activity sector in many parts of the world. The trend is an increase in honey production but a decrease in the number of beekeepers in Sweden. Honeybees live in a highly developed society with a strong hierarchy and a well organized distribution of the tasks. They visit a broad spectrum of plants and collect nectar to store it as honey.

Tidigare forskning visar att individer med en diagnos inomautismspektrumet (ASD) upplever en större sinneskänslighet vad gällerhörsel, syn och känsel men få studier har undersökt lukt känsligheten. Syftetmed föreliggande studie är att få en djupare förståelse för luktfunktioner hosvuxna med ASD.16 deltagare med ASD (14 kontroller) testades iluktkänslighet, fri- och stödd luktidentifiering. Samtliga deltagaresjälvskattade även den upplevda luktkänslighet samt genomgick ettscreeningtest för autism, The adult spectrum quotient, AQ. Lukt känslighet,fri och stödd luktidentifikation skiljde sig inte åt mellan de båda gruppernaSjälvskattning av luktfunktioner korrelerade signifikant positivt med AQpoäng vilket visar att personer med högre grad av ASD också upplevde sigsom mer luktkänsliga. Föreliggande resultat påvisade att personer medhögre AQ-poäng upplevde att de hade en känsligare luktfunktion.

Aim: The aim of this paper was to investigate whether scientific evidence exists to improve, of students? perceived, insufficient infection control in isolation facilities in companion animal hospitals in Sweden. Material and methods: A question was emailed to the students in the last year of the animal nursing program at SLU in the spring 2012 to get their view of perceived insufficient infection control. A literature study was thereafter preformed using the search engine Web of Knowledge. Results: The students reported several perceived shortcomings which were divided into five categories: basal hygiene, isolation routines, cleaning and disinfection, patient flow and other. Studies supporting that the shortcomings perceived by the students also exist in human health care and to some extent in animal clinics and hospitals were found. Furthermore, scientific evidence that improved hand hygiene, glove procedures and cleaning and disinfection reduces the risk of nosocomial infections in humans was reported. Conclusion: There is not a lot of research performed in the area of infection control in animal nursing.

The purpose with this examination task is to investigate what purchasers and building contractors think of ISO 9000 and the function of it within the building trade.In this material both the purchaser´s and the building contractor´s viewpoints and attitude towards ISO 9000 is being object to an investigation, in order to get a just picture of the function of the quality work within the building trade. The general opinion of ISO 9000 has proven to be positive. During the work with this investigation it appeared that nosystem is that good that it can´t be improved. A widely spread opinion is also that ISO 9000 means a lot of paperwork but also that the certified companies are well organized. Det uppskattas att ca 2 barn av 1000 har autism (AST) i Sverige idag, vilket innebärgenomgripande störningar i utvecklingen. Barn som drabbas av denna störning har ofta ettstort hjälpbehov från sin omgivning och att som förälder få ett barn med denna diagnosinnebär stora förändringar i det dagliga livet. Syftet med denna studie var att beskrivaföräldrars erfarenheter och upplevelser av att leva med barn med autismspektrumtillstånd.För att besvara studiens syfte har en litteraturöversikt genomförts, där sammanlagt 9artiklar har analyserats. Vid analysen framkom 5 olika områden: outtaladansvarsfördelning, att känna sig isolerad, oro, stress och depression, strategier för att kunnahantera situationen och vikten av socialt och professionellt stöd. Det framkom av resultatetatt de föräldrar som lever med ett barn med AST upplever att de bär en tung börda som ärrelaterad till barnets problem och svårighetsgrad.

The purpose of this essay is to find out if Alliansen has lost their Bourgeoisie collective identity. The comprehensive questions of this essay are:Does liberalism or conservatism dominate the manifesto of Alliansen from 2006-2010 compared to the manifesto 2014-2018?Have Alliansen changed their ideological views to the centre of the political spectrum in their manifesto from 2006-2010 compared to the manifesto 2014-2018? The method used in this essay is a qualitative dimensional study. The results of the essay show that conservatism dominates both manifestos of Alliansen and show that the ideological view of Alliansen has not changed. Alliansens view of human beings in their manifesto from 2006-2010 is pessimistic and so is Alliansens manifesto from 2014-2018 and therefore closer to the conservative ideology than the ideology of liberalism.

The following Bachelor?s thesis examines how three Swedish national newspapers (Dagens Nyheter, Svenska Dagbladet and Aftonbladet), which all represent different points on the ideological spectrum, portray victim and perpetrator in their representation of rape during the year 2011. The thesis examines the newspapers news, editorial pages and reports of rape. The study uses a quantitative approach with qualitative elements which has its foundation in the theory of social constructivism and priming theory. Political science can be studied from the perspective of power, and media has a central role of this power.

The aim of this study was to examine how the political party Sweden Democrats is represented in two Swedish newspapers. The study included a national newspaper and a local newspaper, Aftonbladet and Blekinge Läns Tidning. We studied 35 articles from both papers, from 2005 and from 2009. We analyzed the texts using the linguist Norman Faircloughs (1995) method for discourse analysis. Based on his theories, we created our own model to examine the texts. Our model primarily focused on representation. The study was conducted at a time when Sweden Democrats was given much support in opinion polls and knocked on the door to the Swedish Parliament. The study showed that Sweden Democrats in both newspapers, primarily by descriptions, the choice of interviewees, etc., often are represented as racists.

Assume that you want to know if the differences in the result of a certain effort in health care have any connection with differences between the life situations of the patients. This would be easier to investigate if the life situations of the patients had connection to the easily available variable Health Care Cost (in Swedish VK). This thesis describes and analyzes how some early childhood educators and parents perceive cooperation in educational work with 4-5 years old children who have been diagnosed with autism. The work will examine which approach preschool teachers assume, the extent to which parents are involved in the work and how parents influence looks.The Literature section provides an overview of previous research on different pedagogical approaches with autistic children, what parental cooperation can mean for autistic children, and what advantages and disadvantages there are with cooperation between preschool teachers and parents.This work has a hermeneutic perspective. The method is based on a qualitative study where we used qualitative interviews with a hermeneutics base. The theoretical starting point for this work is the variety of theoretical perspectives.The final results/summary we came up with is that preschool teachers and parents of autistic children believe that parental cooperation in preschool has a crucial role in children's development and learning. Both sides believe that it is necessary to have a partnership, but we also came to the conclusion that parental cooperation, in addition to the positive, was also perceived as problematic to some degree..

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilken påverkan VD-byte har på företag noterade på den svenska börsmarknadens A-lista, och att detta i sin tur skall ge intressenter djupare förståelse för reaktionerna på marknaden vid denna händelse.Metod: Vi undersöker den kvantitativa effekten av ett VD-byte genom olika event studier. I uppsatsen används EGARCH-modellen för att modellera avkastningarna, GARCH/GARCH-M för att estimera volatiliteten och en linjär faktormodell för att modellera bid-ask spreaden. Vi utför hypotestester i syfte att fastställa avvikande effekter utifrån den effektiva marknadshypotesen.Studien är baserad på 54 stycken VD-byten från 1996 till 2003.Teoretiska perspektiv: Vi utgår från effektiva marknadshypotesen, signalhypotesen och agentteorin i tolkningen samt beskrivningen av våra resultat.Empiri: Det kan inte påvisas någon statistiskt säkerställd effekt påavkastning, volatilitet eller bid-ask spread för marknaden. Detsamma gäller förföretag med nyanställda VD, som rekryterades externt. För företag med interntrekryterade VD kunde vi dock påvisa en statistisk effekt på avkastningarna ochvolatiliteten.

In this thesis in electronics has therefore a servo control with binaural sound localization been implemented on a microcontroller connected to two microphones.When people perceive sound, the brain can estimate the sound source direction by comparing the time taken by the sound reaching one ear to the other [1]. The difference in time is called the interaural time difference, and can be calculated using various techniques. An exploratory comparison between the techniques cross-correlation and cross-spectrum analysis was carried out before implementation.
