Målet med denna uppsats är att försöka få fram vilka som är de avgörande faktorerna som påverkar ungdomar med utländsk härkomst i segregerade områden att studera vidare efter gymnasiet. Metoden som används i uppsatsen är en kvalitativ metod i form av en s.k. livshistorieintervju. Genom att använda sig av livshistorieintervju ges möjligheter för respondenterna att berätta sin historia från uppväxten i hemlandet till Sverige och de nuvarande studierna. Uppsatserna utnyttjar teorier som berör invandrarungdomars skolgång, attityder gentemot det svenska samhället, social habitus, rationellt tänkande samt om de kom frivilligt eller ofrivilligt till Sverige.

    Sammanfattning: Syftet med vår uppsats är att belysa identiteten och den kulturella tillhörigheten hos andra generationens invandrare. Vi vill belysa deras syn i fråga om identitet, integration och omgivning. Kvalitativa intervjuer har utförts för att få svar på våra frågeställningar och tre personer från Malmö samt två personer från Skellefteå och en person från Piteå har ställt upp på denna undersökningen. Dessa intervjuer har sedan analyserats och diskuterats med inspiration av essentialismen, konstruktionismen samt den postkoloniala teoribildningen. Utöver dessa inriktningarna ligger fokus på identitet och identitetsskapande teorier eftersom en stor del av syftet med studien är att belysa hur intervjupersonerna ser på sin identitet.

Syftet har även varit att undersöka eventuella barriärer för integration. Vår avsikt har även varit att konkretisera tillvägagångssätt för att eventuellt öka integrationen. Metod I denna studie har vi använt oss av ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt. För att uppnå det resultat vi önskat valde vi att göra kortare intervjuer per telefon med experter inom Venture Capital.

My big interest in sports was what shaped my choice of subject for the essay. The purpose of this study has been to explore the social meaning of team sports for functionally impaired persons. In order to fulfil the purpose of the essay I formed following questions: How do the actives experience their participation in team sports? And how important is the social intercourse in team sports to the individual welfare? The methods I?ve used have been qualitative with an ethnographic approach. I have used participant observations and field interviews to gather my empirical material.

The schools purpose is to educate students according to events that are of current interest and take place in present time. According to Swedish curriculum, Lpf94, all Swedish education should include and discuss the problems surrounding durable development. The purpose of the study is to se how the textbooks in History, Social studies and Geography and their contents meet the demands of the curriculum. The study shows that only the textbooks in geography meets the demands that the curriculums have on durable development.

I det nutida samhället med allt snabbare förändringsprocesser blir invandrarnas integration svårare att uppnå och identitetsfrågorna svårare att lösa. Mitt syfte med uppsatsen är att förstå varför religiös och kulturell identitet förändras i samband med invandring.Uppsatsen syftar till att ge en djupare förståelse av de kulturkollisioner som invandrare kan råka ut för i sina kontakter med majoritetssamhället.Några frågor som kommer att behandlas är :Varför är det så viktigt för en människa att ha en kultur?Vilken funktion har religionen i ett samhälle och vad betyder det i människors liv?Hur kommer en viss religion till uttryck i olika samhällsgrupper?.

To integrate environmental concerns into non-environmental policy making has become an important policy objective within the European Union. This essay investigates policy instruments in use to achieve environmental policy integration in the EU's transport sector respectively fisheries sector. The point of departure is a theoretical discussion about governance and the use of different policy instruments for environmental management at the EU-level. The focal point is the argumentation that regulatory policy instruments alone cannot achieve environmental policy integration satisfactory. By using Jordan et al's classification of so called "new" environmental policy instruments (market-based instruments, voluntary agreements and ecolabels) as complements to regulatory measures, the essay investigates whether the first-mentioned are used within the two sectors.

Det finns många olika typer av affärssystem på marknaden och företagen har investerat i egna unika IT-lösningar, vilket har medfört att man har låst in sig i den egna tekniska plattformen genom bland annat punkt till punkt- implementationer. För att råda bot mot detta är det då önskvärt att olika system och applikationer ska kunna kommunicera med varandra genom att utbyta data på ett standardiserat sätt. För att uppnå dessa integrationsmål har en tjänsteorienterad arkitektur, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) växt fram. Syftet med denna uppgift är att undersöka möjliga metoder för att utveckla en tjänstebaserad arkitektur för integration mot Avantra AB:s upphandlingssystem, Avantra Upphandling. Detta utifrån krav och direktiv som ställdes av Avantra samt de möjligheter och begränsningar som styrs av deras utvecklingsmiljö, -verktyg och -rutiner.

Studien har sin bakgrund i att arbetsstyrkan i Sverige har blivit alltmer heterogen, bestående av olika etniciteter, nationaliteter och kulturer. HR har en central roll i dessa frågor och kan påverka genom att aktivt arbeta med arbetsmiljöfrågor på multikulturella företag. Syftet med studien är att undersöka samband mellan arbetsmiljö och integrering för människor med annan etnisk bakgrund på ett företag inom livsmedelsindustrin. Vidare är syftet att visa på faktorer som påverkar arbetsmiljö, framför allt psykosocial, på en multikulturell arbetsplats. För att besvara syftet används tre frågeställningar: Vad finns det för samband mellan arbetsmiljö, känslan av tillhörighet och integrering för människor med annan etnisk bakgrund? Hur sammanhänger etnicitet och kultur med arbetsmiljö och integrering? Vilken betydelse har språk för den psykosociala arbetsmiljön och för integrering?Studien är en del i ett nordiskt projekt som syftar till att öka sysselsättning och motverka uteslutning av immigranter.

This study analyses social age as a phenomenon and if unaccompanied refugee children has a social age that, according to the Swedish culture, do not correspond with their biological age and if so is, the reason for that. Furthermore, our study has discussed the potential consequences of the effects for the unaccompanied refugee children and the social age when interacting with Swedish society. According to our study, the social age is effected by other factors besides cultural norms, values and role expectations that a society has on a specific biological age. The results in this study shows that social age is a vital component to someone?s identity.

The shopping mall branch has estimated that the turnover of e-commerce will double within the upcoming ten years (NSCS, 2013). The growth can thus stop for shopping malls and there is a risk that some shopping malls end up being "dead-malls", completely losing their turnover.The thesis starts off with presenting the background for the factors of trade, i.e. e-commerce and shopping malls.This is followed by a presentation of which integration possibilities there are in Sweden today and by examples from the British market. Thereafter follows a section on integration possibilities that shopping malls can use in order to integrate e-commerce instead of regarding it as a threat. This can be done in several ways, e.g.

Social phobia is a fear which limits a person's capabilities in daily situations. The fear can be so strong that a person can distance themselves from all social situations, for example education, marriage, sports activities etc. The purpose of this study is to discover whether there are any correlations between social fear and choice of educational program, between social fear and sex, and between social fear and Internet use. Questionnaires were administered to 80 upper secondary pupils. Each questionnaire answer was assigned a certain score, which was then coded in SPSS, the highest scores corresponding to highest degrees of shyness.

This essay is a comparative empirical study of ethnic integration mainly of the Russian-speaking minorities in the three Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) in a post-communism setting. As Lithuania has a Polish minority that is as large as the Russian-speaking, they too shall be included in the study but not as thoroughly as the Russian-speaking minority. Thus the problem is: to what degree are the ethnic minorities integrated with the titular nations in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania? In order to study ethnic integration I have set up a theoretical framework largely based on Weiner?s theory of integration. The theoretical framework focuses on three dimensions: Citizenship, Identity and Segregation.

The purpose of our study is to get more knowledge about how moral dilemmas affect social workers in their work. This because we find that a big part of social work involves ethic reflections and that is why we find it important for social workers to have knowledge about how they should and can think and act in these situations. Ethic statements exist for social workers to use in their work but we haven?t found any guidelines for concrete situations and that?s why we decided to study this area. Questions we want to answer are how do the social workers define moral dilemmas in social work? How do the social workers deal with moral dilemmas in their work? How do moral dilemmas affect social workers in their work? This is a qualitative study with interviews from seven social workers from one social service office although they are from different units.

This bachelor thesis aims to analyse the effects of changes in management control systems following acquisitions, and deduce whether or not these effects are in line with the acquiring firm's objectives of the acquisition. Through a case study of technician consultant firm Energo, acquired in 2010 by Ã…F, the study assumes the perspective of the acquired firm. Data has been collected through in-depth interviews at Energo and Ã…F and complemented by internal documents to enrich and validate specific facts and statements. Data was then arranged and analysed through Otley and Fierriera's (2009) framework Performance Management Systems to understand how management control systems were constituted before the acquisition, what changes were made following the acquisition, how this process was accomplished and how it was experienced, in order to come to conclusions about the effects of these changes. The study concludes that the changes in Energo's management control system following the integration with Ã…F, had significant effects on the outcome of the acquisition, primarily as it led to a high rate of Energo's employees resigning.
