I denna studie har grundskollärare fått beskriva ett besök med sina elever vid ett science-center. Data är samlade via en enkät. Arbetet syftar till att undersöka på vilka sätt lärare engagerar en sådan informell lärandemiljö i sin undervisning och hur de får besöket att bli en del av arbetet i klassrummet. Detta har gjorts genom att ställa frågor om hur lärare planerat, genomfört och följt upp ett besök. Lärarna uttrycker att sciencecentret är en resurs för elever, men också för lärare.

AbstractThe purpose with this essay has been to gain a greater understanding and clarify how an arena can create value within place marketing and development of a place brand. This will be achieved through a description of which values an arena causes in the surrounding areas and an understanding of how these values can be interpreted through the place brand. We decided to base our study according to the following two questions:1. What are the underlying reasons why there has been such a big trend with arena project?2.

Syfte: Att undersöka vilken ansträngningsgrad och spelupplevelse en grupp flickor respektive pojkar i åldrarna 13-16 år hade vid 15 minuters spelande på Nintendo Wii Sports boxning samt att göra en jämförelse mellan könen. Syftet var även att undersöka om det förekom ett samband mellan spelupplevelse och ansträngningsgrad.Metod: Ansträngningsgraden mättes med pulsklocka och skattning på Borg Ratings of Perceived Exertion (RPE). Spelupplevelsen mättes med en 1-5 skala. Tjugo friska försökspersoner (10 flickor och 10 pojkar) deltog i studien.Resultat: Den genomsnittliga pulsen för flickor var 117,2 slag/min (SD 17,7) och för pojkar 132,3 slag/min (SD 22,9). Flickorna skattade 13,9 på Borg?s RPE-skala (SD 1,1) och pojkarna skattade 13,4 (SD 2,4).

ABSTRACT This research explores how the Work Integration Center (AIC) supports unemployed immigrants in acquiring jobs and how the practical work helps immigrants in entering the labour market. It employs qualitative research approach through semi-structured interviews staff members at AIC and municipal commissioners of education and labour market in the municipality of Malmö. Its aim is to examine how governmental setup guidelines were represented in the practical work. These guiding principles of the organization are presented at the top of municipality. The findings suggest that even if the staff has no knowledge of the official measures of the integration plans, they have implemented the aims and criteria in their work with the immigrants.

The purpose of this paper is to examine what opinions parents have of the after school-centre, if they know that it has an objective and what that objective is. This will be examined by surveying parents with children in after school-centre. The questions posed in the study are as follows: Do parents know the objective of after school-centre? What is the general view of after school-centre among parents? The results show that 41 percent know that there is an objective while 39 percent don't. Only 6 percent can describe what the objective is.

The Swedish way to organize sport has a long tradition and the parents play an important role in ways to organize sport. Without the thousands of adults who voluntary work the sport associations would have problems to survive. However, there are tendencies to that commitment is reduced, which means that the activity is exposed. The purpose of this study was to examine parents opinions about a nonprofit children´s sport respective professional children´s sport. The study was based on questionnaires which were distributed to 83 parents in four different sports; equestrian sport, track and field sports, ice hockey and soccer.

Background: There has been a process of de-institutionalisation and mental health care re-forms in Sweden. Social services are, according to the law, responsible for helping persons with mental illness to live a life like others and to participate in the community. The aim of the study was to describe the culture in one of the social services adult day care center for social relations and activities in Stockholm. The aim was also to focus on the importance of the adult day care center for recovery and empowerment from the participants´ perspective. Methods Observations in the adult day care center were combined with four interviews with regular participants.

The purpose of this quantitative study was to examine the relation between sporting events, where alcohol is served, and the attitude towards alcohol among adolescents. We conducted a survey with 195 respondents, all of whom was students of Swedish upper secondary school. The respondents were between 15 and 18 years of age. The data were analyzed using theories of attitudes and norms. We also analyzed the data using previous research.

AbstractIn the heart of Paris, you will find Sweden?s only cultural center abroad. Since the early 70?s a wealth of cultural activities has been offered, and every year the center receives more than 100,000 visitors. The center is a branch of the Swedish Institute (Si), a public authority which promotes mutual relationships between Sweden and other countries through culture, education, science and business.

The consumer society exploits the earth?s resources more than the earth itself has capability to produce. This over-consumption causes a mass production of products, which mean that more greenhouse gases are being emitted to the atmosphere. Background: This paper was performed by a student in the Public Health Sciences program at the University of Gothenburg as a mandate from the district administration (SDF) Askim-Frölunda-Högsbo in Gothenburg. The assignment was formed on the basis of a need for a new service with a family-centered approach in the form of a family center for families with children aged 6-12 years. The family center will be located in the Frölunda area.Aim: The purpose of this paper was to describe and deepen the understanding of the concept of a family center from a public health perspective. A particular focus was put on interventions that are aimed at children aged 6-12 years.Method: Walker and Avants (2011) model for concept analysisResults: The defined attributes that the analysis led to were the following: Collaboration, Health Promotion, Prevention and Support services and the Visitors. Despite the vast research on the effects of gaming, little is know how the phenomenon of e-sports and it?s followers is portrayed. While media can have significant impact on what and how e-sport is portrayed, no studies have been done in a Swedish context. This thesis aims at filling that gap with investigations of the two major Swedish newspapers. Six articles was analyzed with critical discourse analysis with a theoretical base of journalism.The result of which indicated that between the period of 2005 and 2012 e-sport and players was considered to be professional, committed and more in a sense that reminded much of the view on more traditional sport such as soccer and hockey.

Denna rapport beskriver utvecklingen av ett textbaserat webbspel från idé till en fungerande produkt. Den förser läsaren med en översikt av speldesignern, beskriver några av teknikerna som använts och diskuterar några av de viktigare lösningarna lite mer på djupet. Målet med projektet har varit att utveckla ett textbaserat webbspel som utgår från grunderna i ett sports management spel blandat med fantasyinslag. Tekniker som använts under projektet är framförallt PHP (scriptning) och MySQL (databas) för att skapa en dynamisk webbsida som använder XHTML för strukturen och CSS för presentationen. Resultatet är ett grundläggande fungerande spel som kan spelas i de flesta webbläsare och fungerar som en bra grund för fortsatt utveckling..
