Rekrytering till arbete av studenter från Sport Management-programmet

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur rekryteringen till arbete av studenter från Sport Management-programmet vid Högskolan Dalarna har gått till, samt vilka personliga egenskaper och meriter som har varit avgörande för att erhålla anställning inom den idrottsrelaterade organisationen. Undersökningen har genomförts i intervjuform med arbetstagare som tidigare har studerat Sport Management samt med deras arbetsgivare. Resultatet visar att idealbakgrunden för att erhålla anställning inom idrottsrelaterade organisationer är:- Tidigare aktiv idrottare/insatt i idrotten för att veta hur det praktiska fungerar- Akademisk utbildning, förslagsvis Sport Management- Arbetslivserfarenhet inom idrotten- Brett kontaktnät- Att visa framåtanda - Utåtriktade och ambitiösa personliga egenskaper.

En kartläggning av kompetenskraven på Sport managers

The purpose of this study is to survey which competences and personal qualities the labour market, for students with examination from the Coaching and Sport management education at Vaxjo University, require. Furthermore I want to find out if the employees, videlicet the ex students, consider that their competences differentiate in relation to other employees in the organization which not have this education.In the study a qualitative investigation method has been used where ten interviews have been implemented. The interviews have been carried out within five conceivable work areas to a student with examination from the Coaching and Sport management education at Vaxjo University. The work areas are Sports association, Sports union, municipal activity with Sport and leisure time connection, company with health care connection and company without any kind of Sport connection. Five of the persons being interviewed are ex students that now are employees within any of the elected work areas.

Elitidrottsproblem? : En kvalitativ studie om elitidrottares karriäravslutning

This paper used a qualitative technique from a social scientific perspective, a model based on Hewitt and his theory of the self-concept. The purpose of this study was to investigate why some elite athletes experience troublesome periods after their career ending. Interviews were performed with five elite athletes with varying experiences after career ending. The length of the elite athlete careers vary between 7 to 17 years. Two groups were made based upon experiences after career ending.

Med idrotten in i kunskapssamhället

Abstract.In Sweden today, a collaboration was formed between the Swedish Sport Confederation andthe Swedish upper secondary school education. While this process was taking place, theSwedish Sport Confederation also tried to collaborate with the Swedish Academy. However,at the time the Academy did not have any involvement with the former.The purpose of the study was to research when and how the Swedish Sport Confederationcreated a collaboration with the Swedish Education Systems both on a National and Locallevel. I have also done a research on both the Knowledge Society and Elite Sport talents tofind out if Elite Sport will be affected in any way because of the existence of Knowledge Society,and also the reactions of the Sports talents if any. My final pursuit was also to find out ifthe Knowledge Society can bring about a quick change to this silent conflict between theSwedish Sport Confederation and the Swedish Academy.For my study, I have used two different theories.

Because of the increasing complexity to operate Sport associations some are experiencing serious financial problems. The daily financial work has a major impact on how the future unfolds for the Sport associations. An adverse economy not only creates complications in the economic field, it also affects the Sport itself. Purpose: Our purpose with this paper is to describe and explain how the economy is controlled in non-profit Sport associations and the tool that is used to support this process.

Vidareutveckling av sport-bh för större byst

I denna studie behandlas vidareutvecklingen en Sport-bh för kvinnor med stor byst. Forskning inom relaterade områden, såsom begreppen ?encapsulation? och ?compression?, studier av bröstens rörelsemönster under fysisk aktivitet, storlekssystem och bröstens anatomiska förutsättningar, har studerats för att ytterligare hjälpa utvecklingen av denna produkt. En mindre enkät utfördes bland vanliga, på olika sätt, fysiskt aktiva, kvinnor för att avgöra vilka preferenser dessa hade gällande Sport-bh. Denna information har sedan tillämpats, i möjlig mån, på produktutvecklingen.

Motivation som anledning till att fortsätta i ungdomsidrotten : En kvantitativ studie av motivation hos ungdomar som deltar i breddidrott och elitidrott

Studies in Sweden have shown that about 80% of all youth in Sweden have participated in organized Sport during their upbringing but at the age of 20 only 50% of these continue. There have been several attempts to understand why youth stop participating in Sports but few aimed to understand why they continue. The objective of this study was to examine if there is a difference in motivation between youth (in the ages of 16-20 years) who participate in recreational and elite Sports. The study was carried out as a quantitative survey where both recreational (n=35) and elite athletes (n=33) particpated. The study used a Sport Motivation Scale questionnaire translated into Swedish.

Nyemission. Var det värt det? : En studie om nyemissioners effekter på idrottsaktiebolag

This essay has examined the effects that new issues had on the four Swedish football clubs that are organized as Sport limited companies. The difference between a limited company and a Sporting limited company is that the clubs always have majority ownership by the 51% rule. Previous research on Sport limited companies and on new issues has been associated with the agent theory and the pecking order theory in order to explain the effects.The thesis is a qualitative study with an inductive approach, where the interviews have been selected as the method of collecting data. Through the years the clubs have performed new issues several times. The study says that the clubs perform a new issue for two reasons, either for investment purposes or because they have a poor economy and must collect liquid assets.

Idrotts-självförtroende och motivation : Hos kvinnliga och manliga elit- respektive amatörspelare i bandy

The purpose of this study was to exam the possible differences in the experienced self-confidence and motivation among the elite players in bandy and amateur players in bandy. In addition, any differences between boys and girls within the same area to be studied. A total of 112 athletes participated of whom 52 of them classified as elite players and 60 amateur players, with 62 boys and 50 girls. The athletes filled at one point in the questionnaires The Sport Motivation Scale, Harter?s (1980) ?competence scale? and The Sport Confidence Inventory.

Tillämpad idrottspsykologisk verksamhet med inriktning mot tävlingsidrott och prestation : en komparativ studie mellan Sverige och Serbien

AimThe main aim with this study is to research weather there are differences in applied Sportpsychology activities between Sweden and Serbia, with a focus on competitive Sports andperformance. What are the differences and similarities, and in which way is the Sportpsychology helping the Sportsmen and Sportswomen? The main goal with this study is tocome to conclusions that can be of importance to both countries development in applied Sportpsychology activities.MethodFor this study the qualitative method was used and the design is descriptive and comparative.A practical comparison in the form of interviews has been done. Eight persons wereinterviewed at different times, four in Sweden and four in Serbia, one researcher in Sportpsychology, one practitioner in Sports psychology (a common term for a Sport psychologist,mental trainer, performance coach etc.), one Sports coach and one Sportswoman in eachcountry. For the interviews an adequate interview guide was designed and used.ResultsPractical application in the form of various training opportunities within the Sport psychologyfield, Sports psychology advisory services and research in Sports psychology are applied to agreater extent in Sweden then in Serbia.

Anslaget till Handslaget-vad fick vi för pengarna? : en utvärdering av samarbetet med skolorna i Gästrikland andra året

AimThe Swedish government has allocated a milliard Swedish Crowns on the project ?Ett handslag med idrotten?, (A handshake with Sports), to make it possible for more children to participate in Sports. The project goes on for four years and my work is an evaluation of the projects that have received fundings from Gästriklans Idrottsförbund for the second year. One aim is to see how many pupils that have been involved with the projects and especially the numbers of pupils earlier not active in a Sport club and the number of girls. It is interesting to see what?s in common in the Sport clubs that have had a large number from those two groups.

Changes in media technology and markets create new demands and challenges for society. The relationship between Sport and the media is an example. Sport as a form of entertainment provides pleasure and excitement for the audience and high ratings for networks and media companies. This study examines elite athletes? views of media coverage and the extent to which such coverage affects their athletic performance.

Den sportjournalistiska bloggens karaktär : En kvantitativ innehållsanalys

The aim of this paper is to describe the characteristics of the Sport journalistic weblog. To achieve this we have used the following questions: Which themes are included in the Sport journalistic weblog? How much text does the Sport journalistic weblog content? How often is multimediality incorporated in the Sport journalistic weblog? Which references occur in the Sport journalistic weblog? How many hyperlinks occur in the Sport journalistic weblog? How many of the hyperlinks is internal respective external? How often does the Sport journalistic weblog offers possibilities to interaction between the journalist and the reader? How often does interaction between the journalist and the reader occur?The theories we have used is both online publishing and Jan Schmidt?s analytical framework on blogs. Online publishing describes an important part in our paper, online journalism, which in turn describes three important definitions for this paper; hypertextuality, multimediality and interactivity. Jan Schmidt?s theory is central to understand the phenomena, and functions as a starting point in the analyze part.

Tobaksvanor i tre idrottsklubbar - unga män 16 och 19 år

The use of tobacco is one of the largest health risks for human. Tobacco-users have an incrased risk of deterioration in their oral health. Individuals starts to use tobacco when they are young, often at the same time as they are going in an athletic Sport club. It also seems that children are starting with tobacco habits when they are active in athletic Sport clubs. The aim of this study was to examine and compare tobacco-habits of young men in and between three different athletic Sport clubs.

Gruesome Gaming : En studie i marknadsföring på sociala medier

Vi har valt att titta på hur E-Sportmarknaden använder sig av sociala medier för att sprida sig ut bland medierna och nå befintliga och framtida användare. E-Sport är ett begrepp som innefattar all typ av elektronisk Sport. Dota2 och Starcraft 2 är två exempel på spel där E-Sport är ett vinnande koncept. Vi har valt att skapa föreningen, Gruesome Gaming som ligger till grund för uppgiften för att kunna ta reda på hur de sociala medierna fungerar i marknadsföringssyfte. Människors beteende på Internet samt hur människor hanterar marknadsföring på Internet kommer upplysas närmare i arbetets resultatkapitel.
