This essay analyzes the scripts of the swedish plays Jösses flickor! Befrielsen är nära (Jeez girls! Liberation is at hand) from 1974 and Jösses flickor ? återkomsten (Jeez girls ? the return) from 2006. The analysis is done within the theoretical framework of political and feministic theatre. The essay also includes a discourse analysis of the reviews that were written about the plays and the debates that followed.The result shows that the feministic discourse has changed primarily in two ways. In the 1970's there was a large confidence in the collective, in the 2000's focus has shifted to the individual and tointersectional perspectives.

This paper aims to examine how, and if, music is being used integrated in other subjects thanmusic in school. The study is based on qualitative interviews and I haveinterviewed fourteachers, regardless of whether they use music a lot or not.The questions the study is basedon are if there might be a connection between theteachers' own feelings for music andwhether they use music inschool or not, how music is being used and does the use of musicgive any effects?The result of this study shows that there can be a connection between the teachers ownsfeelings for music and the fact if they use music when they teach or not. One of the teachersI?ve interviewed had bad music experiences and didnot use music in her teaching.

Bakgrund: Torö Stenstrand tillhör naturreservatet Ören som är beläget på en udde på ön Torö i den sydligaste delen av Stockholms län. I slutet av 1970-talet kom vågsurfingsporten till Sverige och Torö Stenstrand. Det var några lokala entusiaster som upptäckte platsen och såg att vågorna lämpade sig för surfing. Sedan dess har officiella surf-SM genomförts av Swedish Surfing Association i stort sett varje höst sedan början av 90-talet. Det finns dock en konflikt kring frågan om stranden bör vara helt tillgänglig för allmänheten eller om de privata tomterna, som finns längsmed vissa delar av Stenstranden, ska ha äganderätt av marken ner till vattnet.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att studera ridsporten från ett ryttarperspektiv med fokus på hur sporten utövas i dagens samhälle och vilka möjligheter man som ryttare upplever sig ha när det kommer till att fortsätta tävla på elitnivå. Detta har undersökts genom en jämförelse mellan tidigare forskning av ridsporten och hur ryttare på olika nivåer upplever och definierar sina egna möjligheter inom ridsporten, könsfördelning och eventuella bakomliggande mekanismer till att det ser ut som det gör med många unga kvinnor på hobbynivå och några få män inom ryttareliten. Varför är det så var en av de tidiga funderingarna som fanns med när denna uppsats började utformas.Studien har en kvalitativ ansats, genom tematiskt öppna intervjuer har datamaterialet insamlats, transkriberats och analyserats utifrån Bourdieus sociologiska teorier om habitus och kapitalformer. Det insamlade materialet har i analysen ställts mot den tidigare forskningen inom ridsport och idrottsutövande som fokuserar på fördelningen mellan könen och statusen som ridsport haft över tid i samhället.Resultaten av studien visar att det skett en stor förändring inom ridsporten det senaste hundra åren, att gå från en manligt dominerad sport där kvinnor förbjöds att delta till att bli en mycket populär sport för unga kvinnor. Kvinnorna kan därför ses som huvudutövarna medan det är relativt få män som är aktiva inom ridsporten på lägre nivåer och trots detta så är det på elitnivå ungefär lika många män som kvinnor.

The first main purpose of this essay is to describe the situation of young women today here in this part of the world concerning influences from commercial media.The second purpose with this essay is to investigate if dance could be used as a tool against all these sterotyped and superficial pictures and ideals in the industy of commersial media.With some questions I also want to get closer to the answer if dancing is a way for young women to get insight knowledge. I also describe women from dance history who experienced that dance filled them up with energy but also environment where there was oppression.This essay has a gender perspective.The methods are manly based on literature studies but information is also gathered from the Internet and from one film.My results are that dance is a very constructive way to give the young woman that force which is needed when meeting media pictures everywhere. Denna uppsats har som syfte att visa de maskuliniteter som representeras i Rekordmagasinets serier från år 1944. Rekordmagasinet var en sport- och äventyrsserietidning som utgavs i Sverige mellan åren 1942 och 1967. Tidningen var mycket populär under fyrtio och femtiotalen och den lästes framförallt av pojkar. Uppsatsens huvudsyfte är att visa de maskuliniteter som huvudpersonerna i serierna representerar. Gemensamma grunddrag för dessa maskuliniteter är mod, handlingskraft, beslutsamhet, förmåga till självbehärskning samt lojalitet. De hävdar sig mot andra karaktärer och bevisar de ovan nämnda egenskaperna genom våld, idrott och intelligens.

We investigate various factors that might be important in their choice of gaming gear when they play, and how they train to use these artifacts more efficiently to get maximum performance.

The aim of this study was to investigate emotions and emotion regulation of a downsizing in an industrial company. The sample consisted of persons who had experienced a downsizing but have kept the employment, within a same position or being transferred to another one. Data consisted of two focus group interviews, analysed by an inductive thematic analysis. The results have indicated that emotional reactions changed over time as well the emotional regulation did during the different phases. The groups differed in emotional reaction related to the time of decision regarding the retention of employment.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att hjälpa Pacwire AB att förbättra Arbetssituationen, sänka frånvaron respektive höja motivationen. De anställda tyckte att det största problemet var dålig kommunikation med låg motivation som följd. Vår slutsats av projektet är att ledarskapet på Pacwire därför bör förbättras. The parent-student-teacher conference presumes school responsibility of the development of the student. Teacher, student and parents are supposed to talk freely and in confidence, the conference should lead to a forward looking and long term plan. The parent-student-teacher conference should presume equality amongst the parties. The intention of this paper is to illuminate how the conference can be a way to clarify the process of learning. I intend to do this by showing the practice of four teachers, by making conclusions from their experiences they have made in their practice.

This thesis was a literature review based on both qualitative and quantitative articles to give as comprehensive a view as possible.

Non-profit organizations gain increasing attention in society but their legitimacy often decrease by scandals in separate organizations. Doctors without borders (MSF) constitutes an exception and has managed to retain their legitimacy. The aim of this study was to examine how MSF built and retained its legitimacy towards institutional actors in their environment, when the branch in general is suffering from a crisis of confidence. In a case study, this was done by identifying the institutional pressures on MSF and examining which strategies MSF uses to handle the pressures. The study was conducted through qualitative interviews with employees at MSF and actors in their environment.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningSyftet med detta arbete är att förstå känslans betydelse för utövare inom kitesurfing,vågsurfing och friåkning inom skidor, där studien tar avstamp utifrån sex olika tematiskaområden: livsstil och identitet, gemenskap, frihet och lek, människa och natur, behov ochkropp och känslan (flow). För att besvara arbetets syfte formulerades tre frågeställningar:Hur upplevs utövandet av sporten i tid och rum, och vilka beskrivningar framträder? Avdessa beskrivningar, vilka av upplevelserna är mest framträdande? Hur visualiseras sportenskänsla?MetodStudien är en abduktiv kvalitativ sådan som bygger på en etnografisk ansats med deltagande observationer och sex intervjuer med fotoelicitering. En man och en kvinna representerade från vardera sport, det vill säga kitesurfing, vågsurfing och friåkning på skidor. Utifrån den intervjumall som skapats genomfördes semistrukturerade intervjuer som sedan ordagrant transkriberades i sin helhet.

The main aims of this study is from a gender perspective identify possible reasons why so many men compared to women visited the European football Championship in Poland/Ukraine 2012. The study also aims to classify European Championship visitors from their primary purpose with the trip.To be able to answer the study's purpose and issues, it is important that we get an understanding of the phenomenon so that we can clearly express an opinion on this phenomena. This meant that we chose to use qualitative methods designed to give a deeper insight into what is being investigated. We made use of both deep, email and telephone interviews with our respondents. The six respondents are evenly distributed between the sexes.

The objective of the study is to examine whether the experience from language courses abroad has had any impact on the career choices for four individuals. Based on a qualitative research methodology, four semi-structured interviews have been executed. The two research questions have been answered by letting four people recount their experiences from language courses abroad linked to their self-images and career choices. The outcome is that the experiences from the language courses contributed to a more or less altered self-image. Most of all, the interpersonal abilities were fostered, which led to the formation of a self-image characterized by improved confidence in social settings.
