Nöjeslivet är ett viktigt område när det gäller att göra en stad attraktiv för dess invånare och besökare. Efter en besöksundersökning av centrumföreningen Centrala Stadsrum visade det sig att det finns invånare och besökare som inte är helt nöjda med dagens nöjesliv i Falun. Utifrån detta och en nyfikenhet från vår sida valde vi att göra en kartläggning av Faluns nöjesliv och undersöka nöjesverksamheternas profilering. Utifrån vår definition av nöje, ?en upplevelse där en individ gör ett tidsfördriv utan praktiskt syfte och då känner tillfredsställelse, vällust och/eller glädje?, genomfördes en teoretisk litteraturstudie av Faluns historia, attraktiva städer och våra utvalda nöjeslivsområden: mat & fika, bar & klubb, handel, kultur, sport och evenemang.

Syftet var att studera elevernas uppfattningar inom Naturbruksprogrammets hästinriktning om sambandet mellan ryttarens kroppsfysik och ridningen. Följande frågor har ställts: ? Vilken betydelse ansåg eleverna att en god kroppsfysik hade för ridningen? ? Hur uppfattade eleverna olika pedagogiska metoders betydelse för ridningen? ? Hur uppfattade eleverna olika pedagogiska metoders betydelse för kroppsfysiken? ? Hade eleverna förstått att ridningen påverkades av deras fysiska hälsa? För att besvara frågeställningar har jag använt mig av en enkät. De elever som besvarade enkäten deltog i ett projekt, som genomfördes med hjälp av olika didaktiska metoder och övningar samt observationer. Projektets avsikt var att förbättra ryttarens kroppsfysik samt dess inverkan på hästen.

Companies and organizations recognize the importance of collaboration to develop responsibility and ability of change in the workplace. The concept of collaboration was a relatively new idea in business in the late 1980s. In a Nordic context, collaboration is a traditional approach that companies use successfully for competition, survival and development. Collaborative organizational efforts cover management of committed people who can help companies achieve flexibility, customer loyalty, innovation and economic success on a challenging and competitive market. Many theorists believe that collaboration is the key to integrating technology, financial competence and innovation.

Municipalities are steered organizations with a democratic decision-making. They are responsible for an extensive activity. The local municipal audit is the municipal council?s tool to control that the activity operates. The local municipal audit will in the beginning of every audit period plan for what they will review.

Den här studien syftar till att undersöka hur aktiva idrottsutövare uppfattar sportmediernas framställning av kön, och hur deras sportmediekonsumtion samt identifikation med andra idrottare (i medier) ser ut.Studien bygger till stor del på en enkätundersökning som vi utfört på aktiva idrottsutövare i Stockholmsområdet ? så väl enskilda som lagidrottare. Totalt delades 103 enkäter ut, och vi kunde använda 90 stycken. Vi har även hållit kortare intervjuer med fyra av respondenterna, som en fördjupning av det som berör våra frågeställningar om idrottarnas identifikation.Resultaten visar att medan både manliga och kvinnliga idrottsutövare är intresserade av sportmedier, konsumerar männen sportmedier i en större omfattning. Detta kan bero på att kvinnor inte är nöjda över det nuvarande utbudet och hur kvinnliga idrottare framställs.

This study examines a case of cooperation between banks, commerce, police and the municipality of Skövde, which in a project has the target to reduce the use of cash by 15 % in the city during 2011. The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of the importance of cooperation in which different actors come together to reach a common goal, such as speed or interfere with an ongoing change, while they must meet their own interests. In this study the case of cooperation has been studied by using a qualitative approach. The methods used in this study are participant observation and a group interview as well as personal interviews. The theories underlying the study revolve around the concepts of collaboration between organizations with similar interests, changes in society, conflict and resistance to change..

Syftet med studien var att studera föräldrainvolvering och barns motivation till tennis utifrån föräldrars perspektiv relaterat till Tennis Syds pågående projekt Tennis10s. I studien deltog 64 föräldrar i åldrarna 31-58 år (m=41,69 sd=5,14) varav 26 var kvinnor (m=40,08 sd=4,98) och 38 män (m=42,79 sd=5,01) som hade barn aktiva inom tennis i åldrarna 6-11 år. I studien användes instrumenten Motivation Till Idrott samt Parental Involvement Sport Questionnaire. Resultaten visade att föräldrar rangordnade kompisskap, laganda, glädje och kompetens som de främsta motivationsfaktorerna till att sitt barn spelar tennis. Föräldrarna rangordnade beröm och förståelse samt aktiv involvering som de mest förekommande beteendena i sitt upplevda engagemang kring sitt barns tennis deltagande.

Management consulting firms are dependent on attracting and recruiting new talents since the human capital has a vital role in these types of organizations. In the following years a new generation, Generation Y, will to a large extent enter the labour market. According to several studies this generation has different characteristics than older generations.This thesis examines management consulting firms? views of Generation Y and which strategies they use to attract and retain the generation. The fact that the subjects are unexplored led the authors to conduct a qualitative study of seven management consulting firms through in-depth interviews.

Many organizations strive to be transnational. This means that individuals with different cultural background will work together. Countries around the world have their own culture, which mark the way individual?s think and act. Different values between leaders and their subordinates are often a key factor to misunderstandings and conflicts in transnational organisations.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka och jämföra motivationen hos amatör- och elitfotbollsspelare mot bakgrund av ålder, prestationsnivå och attribuering. Följande frågeställningar har besvarats: (1) Skiljer sig motivationen åt mellan elitidrottare och amatöridrottare? (2) Attribuerar elitidrottare och amatöridrottare olika? (3) Påverkar ålder motivationen? Försökspersoner (n=32) i ett amatörlag (n=16) och ett elitlag (n=16) fick fylla i en enkät, uppbyggd av Sport Motivation Scale och Attribution Theory. Ett oberoende t-test och ett korrelationstest utfördes. En signifikant skillnad upptäcktes mellan amatör och elit på kategorierna Inre Motivation och Amotivation.

Websites are often developed by small businesses, organizations or individuals which may lead to that the testing gets left behind; the focus is on getting a finished product that can be deployed as quickly and as cheaply as possible.Functional testing is important also for websites and a variety of aids exist. With the right tools and methods the development work is facilitated, and it leads to products with fewer faults.This report shows in the form of a case study how an appropriate tool for functional testing can be selected and how it can be used within development of a website. An analysis of the tools available is reported and JSystem is selected as the most appropriate for this case.It turned out that JSystem could not be used fully as intended in terms of deployment, but a well-functioning alternative solution was developed.A number of test cases were created without any unsolvable problems and JSystem performed well. Too much attention has been given to mainstream approaches in performance management and management accounting research, without taking in to account changes in the environment with the rapid growth of online retailing. This paper evaluates how and/or if performance management differs in online contexts by using a conceptual model developed by Ferreira et al (2009). The model and its components are tested on three multichannel- and six e-commerce businesses. The result and its analysis is commented on by two e - commerce experts. The result shows that the operation method of the models twelve components do not differ in terms of work methods in online and offline contexts.

Previous research has shown that the psychosocial work environment and leadership have a significant influence on the employees work satisfaction. Still there is much to explore regarding the employees experiences about these two subjects. A qualitative approach was used in this study to increase the understanding of the employee´s experience of psychosocial work environment and leaders role affecting it. Eight semi structured interviews were carried out at two organizations with four interviews in each place. The data was transcribed and a meaning concentration analysis was conducted.

Corporate spending on information technology is persistently increasing and a majority of companies are currently employing an intranet. Intranets have implications for internal communication but are also instruments for the dissemination of corporate culture. Existing research on intranets and corporate culture is limited to Swedish organizations within the industrial or IT-sector and to foreign companies. The purpose of this study is to understand how or if corporate culture can be embedded into an intranet. Specifically, this study addresses the research question: How is corporate culture communicated via an intranet in a Swedish service-sector company? We perform a qualitative case study and find that communication on intranets is still characterized by a traditional top down approach.

It is reported that adolescents' health is deteriorating, when their mental illness has increased. Adolescents' social conditions have also become worse. The mental illness is linked to the individual living conditions. The purpose of this study is to investigate which factors adolescents experience have been contributing to making a lifestyle change. The apparent factors can be used to promote adolescents´ health.
