I wanted to focus this essay on the operative?s perspective of running religious organizations in the city of Karlstad and to see positive and negative aspects of their day-to-day life working with their organization, following up with a comparison of the difference and the similarities between those groups. After delimitating which groups I was going to examine, I implemented a qualitative study of four people, from two different religious groups, whom I performed interviews with. My method of performing these interviews and understanding the perspective of the informants, I had a semi structured interview guide along with a recent study that was opting for similar conclusions, only in a different county and with different input perspective. The result of my study showed a difference in establishment of their region but with a lot of similarities in problems with their religious and structural premises.

The purpose of the essay is to make a comparative study between the Christian value parity and the Christian Democrats. To answer the purpose the following questions are asked: What are the similarities and differences between party programs? What are the similarities and differences in their origin? The theory used is based on Reidar Larlsson political ideologies, there were two ideologies used to apply on the result: conservatism and liberalism. The method was ideologies analysis. The result of the study shows that there were some similarities and some differences between the part programs.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur personer med diabetes upplevde sin sjukdom utifrån kultur och hur sjuksköterskan kunde bemöta dessa olika personer. Metoden var en beskrivande litteraturstudie baserad på 10 vetenskapligt granskade artiklar. Resultatet visade att det fanns kulturella skillnader i upplevelsen av sjukdomen som i stort baserades på religion och tro. Det har även visat sig att det fanns obalans i mötet mellan personen och sjuksköterskan. För att balansera mötet behövde sjuksköterskan bland annat ta sig tid att lära känna personen.

I Idrottens betydelse för elever i skolan undersöker Andreas Jönsson och Viktor von Eggers Patron hur idrottstimmarna och dess betydelse har förändrats ur ett större perspektiv. Det empiriska materialet är baserat på lärarintervjuer och elevenkäter. Lärarintervjuerna har varit i fokus då lärarna har år av erfarenhet i och större inblick i ämnet. På så sätt kan de ge sin bild om idrottens betydelse, exempelvis hur eleverna påverkas av idrotten över en längre tidsperiod, vilket eleverna inte alltid kan göra. Undersökningens frågeställning är: Hur påverkar idrott och hälsa barnens övriga studier? Hur kan idrott och hälsa påverka elevernas koncentrationsförmåga samt deras inlärningsförmåga? Räcker det att ha idrott & hälsa på schemat för att det ska ha någon effekt eller krävs det en viss mängd av det? Kan skolan påverka barnens hälsa genom idrott och hälsa? Resultaten visar att om eleverna har mycket idrott på schemat höjs deras betyg i övriga ämnen samtidigt som det ökade deras inlärningsförmåga.

The purpose of this paper was, on the basis of the association?s annual reports, to describe appropriate key performance indicators for non-profit associations. The purpose was furthermore to study how the associations show their goal-attainment. The research was delimited to contain the second category of non profit associations, which include sports associations. The authors choose three non profit associations, which according to the law, shall draw up annual reports. The three ice hockey associations HV71, MODO Hockey and Frölunda Hockey Club, were thereafter chosen on the basis of those delimits.

In the last two decades something called ?the Eleatic Principle? has been quite frequent in philosophical literature. A wide range of philosophers have appealed to this principle when arguing for varioustheses but the principle itself has received comparatively little attention. Especially questions regarding the principle's justificationare often ignored or only mentioned in passing. The aim of this paper is to remedy this situation somewhat by focusing on how it could be justified.In section 2 I give an overview of the various ways in which the principle has been used to clarify just what we are dealing with here.

The purpose of this essay is to analyse and understand how branding can take place in a football organisation. Football clubs have for a long time been seen as non-profit organisations but since money have become a main factor also in football these days the organisations are more or less turning in to commercial businesses. Football organisations have for many years neglected the assets of actively contributing values to their brand. Despite that branding doesn't seem to be seen as important in football organisations as it is for real companies who spend a fortune of money on building strong brands, which makes us curious to find out how this approach can be developed also in football. We are also interested in what the characteristics are and which underlying factors that determines the choice of a football brand.

I den här uppsatsen kommer jag att undersöka vilken roll kristendomen innehar i religionskunskapen, jämfört med de andra världsreligionerna. Jag kommer att utgå från hermeneutiken för att tolka olika aspekter i tre olika läroböcker som används i religionskunskapsundervisning idag. Jag kommer först att titta på kristendomens inflytande över läroplanen från tidigt 1800-tal. Efter detta går jag igenom innehållet i de tre läroböckerna innan jag diskuterar resultaten. I en jämförelse där jag tittar på textomfång, urval av information konstaterar jag att  kristendomen framställs annorlunda jämfört med de andra religioner.

Vid utgrävningar utförda av brittiska arkeologer 1922 i staden Ur i Mesopotamienpåträffades i en grav ett sigill: U.9750. Hantverket är i mörkgrön steatit och är 0,036m X 0,024 m stort. Idag dateras det till den gammalakkadiska perioden ca 2250 f. Kr.Sigillet förvaras i Nationalmuseet i Irak och anses som ett av de mer betydelsefullaföremålen från perioden. Museet blev plundrat efter invasionen av Irak 2003.

Skolans fostrande roll har förändrats genom historien. Relationen mellan lärare och elev harintensifierats och präglas idag mer av närhet än distans. Denna utveckling skapar enproblematik kring lärarens förhållande till att vara personlig och privat eftersom läraren somperson blir allt viktigare. Läraren bör vara medveten om hur den förhåller sig till sina egnaställningstaganden då läraren både på gott och ont har en stor makt att påverka eleverna.Syftet med vår c-uppsats är att belysa hur ett antal yrkesverksamma lärare i grundskolanstidiga år resonerar i frågan om hur lärare i relation till eleverna bör förhålla sig till detpersonliga och det privata utifrån ambitionen att agera professionellt och därmed etiskt riktigt.Med hjälp av intervjufrågor gällande religion, politik och sexualitet vill vi synliggöra lärarnaseventuella gräns mellan personligt och privat. Undersökningen grundar sig på en kvalitativintervjustudie med tio yrkesverksamma grundskollärare.De intervjuade lärarna menar att det ingår mycket i att vara en professionell lärare såsom attfå barnen att lära, trivas och må bra i skolan.

In this essay I have tried to present the ideas and thoughts of the Swedish author Rolf Edberg (1912-1997), journalist, ambassador and county governor. By many regarded as an environment philosopher and the introducer of deep ecology into Sweden. The essay emphasizes Edberg as a modern renaissance man of important knowledge with a rhetorical force to present and generalize the problems the planet Earth is meeting. The paper compares him with Henry Thoreau but also finds a close but perhaps unintended relationship with the German philosopher Ernst Haeckel although Edberg himself claimed to be a Darwinist at heart.The essay stresses on four characteristic features in his authorship namely 1) a holistic view of nature and man, rejecting dualism for monism; 2) a cosmic relationship within the whole universe and also between organic and inorganic matter; 3) the planet Earth is in a crisis due to an uneven and unjust distribution of the resources of the Earth, the nuclear weapon threat and the overpopulation; 4) the evolution and not the religion has the answer to our existential questions..

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine the retrieval performance of two search engines, Yahoo! News and Sesam, specialized on indexing news articles in Swedish. Thirty search questions were used in this study, divided into three different categories: domestic news, amusement and sport. Precision has been calculated both for the 30 search questions as a total and for the three categories as well. Precision was calculated at every DCV-level and then divided with the number of search questions used, in an attempt to reach an average measure.

The aim of this study is to examine physical education teachers? and students? views on the thesis and its part in the physical teacher education program at The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences.Does the view on the thesis differ between techers/students and the program with its curriculum and other policy documents?What does students/teachers value in a thesis?Does teachers/students have a mutual habitus concerning the thesis in the form of essay writing and how is this expressed?The study is based on a qualitative survey in which the respondents mainly answered open-ended questions with written answers. These answers have been categorized and analyzed with the aims of the study and the previous research in mind. The views on the purpose of the thesis differ, both within the group teachers/students and to a certain degree in relation to policy documents. The value of the thesis differs within the group.

Ett utvecklingsarbete med gymnasielever om faktorer som ligger utanför skoltid och som de anser inverkar på deras skolprestation. The purpose of this paper was to develop a material that highlights what causes there were outside school that pupils thought affected their performance in school. This was strictly done according to the statements that the pupils made. To fetch these statements the paper used essays, interviews and inquiries, all of whom were presented for the pupils. Initially we asked the pupils to write a short essay where we wanted them to describe circumstances in the classroom, in school and spare time that affects their performance in school.

I detta arbete utförs en granskning av läroböcker i religionskunskap för grundskolans senare år och gymnasiet. I granskningen undersöks hur läroböckerna hanterar religiösa värderingar som inte stämmer överens med den svenska skolans värdegrund. Hur hanteringen av dessa värderingar yttrat sig i beskrivningar av religionerna buddhismen, hinduismen, islam, judendomen och kristendomen har även relaterats till begreppet andrafiering. Resultaten visar att hanteringen av värdegrundskonflikter i stor utsträckning kan anses vara undermålig utifrån Skolverkets krav på diskussion och tydliga ställningstaganden för värdegrunden. Hanteringen har även visat tecken på att skilja sig beroende på vilken religion som framställts.
