Ett utvecklingsarbete med gymnasielever om faktorer som ligger utanför skoltid och som de anser inverkar på deras skolprestation. The purpose of this paper was to develop a material that highlights what causes there were outside school that pupils thought affected their performance in school. This was strictly done according to the statements that the pupils made. To fetch these statements the paper used essays, interviews and inquiries, all of whom were presented for the pupils. Initially we asked the pupils to write a short essay where we wanted them to describe circumstances in the classroom, in school and spare time that affects their performance in school.

I denna studie undersöks orsaker till att vissa elever inte är aktiva i någon föreningsidrott samt hur idrott och hälsa kan få fler elever intresserade och engagerade i föreningsidrotten. Fokus har varit att undersöka de föreningsinaktiva elevernas perspektiv och hur deras motivation i ämnet idrott och hälsa ser ut.Studien utgår från strukturerade intervjuer med tio elever samt en svensk version avSport motivation scale och Academic motivation scale för att tydliggöra elevernas motivation. Resultatet visar att de elever som inte är aktiva i en idrottsförening har låg motivation till idrott och hälsa. De anledningar som framkommer till att eleverna inte är delaktiga i någon idrottsförening är främst att de inte har något intresse eller har andra intressen. Även tidsbrist och för seriös satsning inom idrottsföreningarna uppges som orsak till att inte delta i en idrottsförening.

The purpose of this study was to examine how five preschool managers are looking at theirleadership and what difficulties they see in their leading. To live up to my purpose I askedthe following research questions: Which parts in their mission do the five preschoolmanagers see as problematic in relation to the curriculum for preschool and the schoolsinspectorate quality investigation? How do the preschool managers describe their leader styleand leader ideals, and is their any difference between the two of them?The method of this study was qualitative interviews with five preschool managers. Theresults that I found was that the most of the preschool managers see their leadership as coproduced(like in Ludvigssons research 2009) with the teachers and that the preschoolmanagers often find other difficulties in their mission compare to the quality investigation(School inspectorate 2012). En idrottsförenings ekonomi är idag avgörande för hur den sportsliga verksamheten kan bedrivas. Många föreningar måste jobba hårt för att få verksamheten att gå runt. Ett sätt att arbeta på för att få in pengar är att locka företag att sponsra verksamheten.Denna studie ställer upp en hypotes för Uppsalaidrotten om ett linjärt samband mellan föreningarnas synlighet hos publik och i media gentemot deras sponsringsintäkter. Studien undersöker sedan om denna hypotes stämmer genom att studera tre idrottsföreningar valda utefter deras synlighet i media och hos publik samt tre företag som sponsrar Uppsalaidrotten. Den insamlade informationen har analyserats med hjälp av en analysmodell baserat på teorier om sponsring.

Today sportsclubs are important actors in the work with promoting public health in Sweden. Sports have unique opportunities to reach out with messages to many people with diffrent backgrounds. In many respects sport- and clublife could be looked upon as health promotiv activiteis. It is not just the health of the individual that is affected by sportslife but also the community take advantage of active people in clubs. Partly through a healthier population and partly because clubs educational role in teaching democracy and solidarity to its members.

I analyze articles published in Dagens Nyheter, Swedens biggest morningpaper and Aftonbladet, biggest eveningpaper. The method is based on a quantitative content analysis, and critical discourse analysis in which I use van Dijk's analytical approach. Issues :1. This paper has evaluated a new type of prosthetic foot, X-Balance, which aim was to facilitate the performance on uneven ground for the user. This study have performed gait analyzes with three prosthetic feet, the X-Balance, Flex-Foot and assure Ottobock9192 on flat and uneven surfaces using 3D analysis system QTM (Qualisys Track Manager) and associated force plates. During the project a prototype of a design that can perform a mechanical gait were manufactured. The prototype has then been used to fulfill the purpose and objective of this study which is to make different final sets that demonstrate differences between prosthetic feet. Gait analyses of individuals have also been performed to get an idea of what normal gait is.

Virtual teams are teams where team members don?t sit and work in the same place, they canwork in different countries, cities and buildings. It?s not the distance between team members that defines a virtual team, it's the extent to which the team is dependent on information technology to communicate and carry out a task. Depending on what activities the organisations practice different tax rules follow.A person who pursues commercial activity constitutes a taxable person within the meaning of the Swedish VAT act. The definition of commercial activity is an activity which is practiced independently, professionally and with an object of making a profit. The activity must be practiced regularly and to a certain extent to qualify as commercial.

Women?s football has, throughout history, been subject to the resistance of man?s world. The English football association forbid women?s teams to play on the association?s grounds. This ban lasted for 50 years and wasn?t dissolved until 1971.

This study is about being manager in social care and social welfare organisations. Ten women managers participate in the study and share their thoughts about management. Such organisations are an area where women are most frequent, so we wanted to take part of experiences women managers in this area obtain. The study concentrates upon factors these women encounter and which they feel can affect them in their daily work. The study shows that the women we interviewed have a basic interest in humans and a strong commitment to working for human well being.

Syftet med studien var att belysa om och hur lärare i idrott och hälsa arbetar skadeförebyggande i undervisningen. Vi utgick från en kvalitativ metod och intervjuade åtta utbildade lärare med inriktning mot årskurs 6-9 i ämnet idrott och hälsa. Resultatet kopplas till Haddons (1980) strategier om skadeförebyggande arbete. Genom samtliga intervjuer framkom att lärare medvetet arbetar förebyggande med funktionella idrottsskador och integrerar det i undervisningen. Informanterna menar att det i första hand är aktiviteten som står i fokus och inte huruvida undervisningen sker inomhus eller utomhus men nämner att det finns skillnader i planering och utförande.

The purpose of this paper is to find the true meaning to the Swedish word "sinnesträdgård" as a fenonomen. This paper concentrates on the Swedish use of the word, because the term has different definitions in other countries. Our choice was a phenomenological method after reading literature on, and in relevance with, the subject without finding an answer to the question. According to our six informants - a politician, a project manager, two landscape architects and scientists, and two occupational therapists, the concept has not yet been defined. The results show that a "sinnesträdgård" is complex and means several things, but the main purpose of the concept and place is to stimulate all senses. We have discussed how to distinguish the concepts "sinnesträdgård", design garden and health garden, from each other as they all stimulate the senses.

Allocation of funds to public libraries is uneven and this study will try to explain the reasons and clarify why the allocations of funds are distributed like they are and what calculations influenced the financial apportionment. This master thesis accounts for allocation in seven public libraries in Uppsala. The study shows that one reason for uneven allocations is demographic. Another reason is that the library has come into a good or bad circle. There are no models for allocation of funds to public libraries in Uppsala, thats why their allocations are given after a percentage increase of earlier years allocations, and that leads to a good or bad circle.
