Syftet med studien var att (1) undersöka 12 elitgolfares förståelse av begreppet visualisering (2) undersöka elitgolfares visualiseringsupplevelser i relation till deras golf (3) undersöka vad elitgolfspelarna önskade förbättra gällande deras visualiseringsanvändande och förmåga. I studien deltog 12 elitgolfspelare (nio män och tre kvinnor) och de var mellan 19 och 25 år gamla (M = 21.5 år). Individual Profile of Imagery Experiences in Sport (IPIES; Weibull 2008a) användes som mätinstrument. Samtliga deltagare intervjuades vilket resulterade i 12 individuella visualiseringsprofiler som analyserades genom visualiseringsmönster. Deltagarna använde visualisering och några mönster som användes var: Bra slag och Hur slaget skall slås.

The aim of this study is to explore hiphop music as an aspect of youth socialization and the relationship between music creation and identity. The study is conducted through five semi- structured qualitative individual interviews. Our theoretical starting points are Putnam?s (2000) bridging and bonding social capital symbolic interactionism. We also have used a model of learning presented by Fornäs, Lindberg and Sernhedes (1989).

Den Svenska Basketligan är en av få europeiska nationella ligor (oavsett sport) som tillämpar det stängda seriesystemet inom lagidrott. Sedan säsongen 92/93 har den högsta svenska ligan i basket varit stängd och upp- och nedflyttning har vilat på framförallt ekonomiska skäl, och inte sportsliga. Detta är väldigt ovanligt i Europa och i akademisk litteratur görs en tydlig uppdelning mellan europeisk och amerikansk idrottsstruktur. En faktor som bidrar till att göra ligans karaktär stängd är att mästarlagen och övriga topplags deltaganden i europeiska och regionala sammanhang är oregelbundna.I uppsatsen tillämpas ett systemteoretiskt perspektiv som grund och teorier om konkurrens och kompetensutveckling används som stödteorier. 5 spelare, varav 3 med internationell erfarenhet,2 coacher samt en basketfokuserad skribent ger i uppsatsen deras synpunkter på hur ligans struktur påverkar deras och ligans internationella konkurrenskraft.Studiens resultat pekar på att det finns stora möjligheter till en förbättrad internationell konkurrenskraft, men att det krävs förändringar i strukturen och synen på vad basketligan har för syfte..

Syftet med studien var att studera föräldrainvolvering och barns motivation till tennis utifrån föräldrars perspektiv relaterat till Tennis Syds pågående projekt Tennis10s. I studien deltog 64 föräldrar i åldrarna 31-58 år (m=41,69 sd=5,14) varav 26 var kvinnor (m=40,08 sd=4,98) och 38 män (m=42,79 sd=5,01) som hade barn aktiva inom tennis i åldrarna 6-11 år. I studien användes instrumenten Motivation Till Idrott samt Parental Involvement Sport Questionnaire. Resultaten visade att föräldrar rangordnade kompisskap, laganda, glädje och kompetens som de främsta motivationsfaktorerna till att sitt barn spelar tennis. Föräldrarna rangordnade beröm och förståelse samt aktiv involvering som de mest förekommande beteendena i sitt upplevda engagemang kring sitt barns tennis deltagande.

The world today is not an equal place. We see children starve, people being discriminated and women?s rights being neglected. The media coverage of women?s sports is no exception.

Differences between groups or individuals in a society with regards to access to information and communication technologies (ICTs) are known as the digital divide. The digital divide pertains to differences in physical access to computers and the Internet as well as knowledgein using technology. Important factors affecting the digital divide are disabilities, age, gender, socioeconomical background, ethnicity and geography. The digital divide appears on several levels: internationally, nationally, regionally and locally. Individuals who, for some reason, have limited or no access to information and communication technologies risk, among other things, to experience social exclusion.

The purpose with this study is to compare different systems of grain storage from a financial point of view. Grain that is supposed to be fed to laying hens. The systems that were compared were different airtight storage of grain and a system of conventional storage. To make this case study I choose to compare four different systems. In the case study there was one system with bin drying of the grain, two systems with airtight storage of the grain and one system where you buy dried grain during the season. I made several of capital investment appraisal where I found the cost of each system, then I took the cost and divided it with the total grain use and calculated the cost for each kilogram of grain, and also the cost of the feed. Then I compared the cost from my case study with the cost of buying feed. All the systems except for one, gave a lower cost for the hen feed than buying feed from a dealer The best system, witch were bin drying lower the cost with about 80 000:- SEK.

Examensarbetet Exteriört Designkoncept av Polar 560 för Soliferpolar AB är den avslutande delen på civilingenjörsprogrammet Teknisk Design vid Luleå tekniska universitet med inriktning industridesign. Examensarbetet är utfört under en projekttid på 20 veckor åt SoliferPolar AB. SoliferPolar AB är idag nordens största tillverkare av husvagnar. Platsen är Dorotea, där både SOLIFER och POLAR tillverkas. Arbetet syftar till att finna en tilltalande exteriör husvagnsdesign som skall öka marknadsandelarna för SoliferPolar AB genom ökad försäljning av POLAR.

Labour and its conditions is a subject constantly in focus. Therefore this study aims to shed some light on different factors which constitutes the basis for the definition of optimal labour conditions, as well as creating a need for change of labour conditions. In this case these factors are changes in society and cultures. The study describes how different levels of society - government, employer and employee ? are affected by, or wishes to affect the labor conditions in terms of location, working hours and leisure.

Background: Increasingly, companies choose to finance their business with corporate bonds which has resulted in an increased demand on credit ratings. As such the rating agencies have a very important role in the financial markets. Examining the value of a credit-rating can be very interesting for both issuer and investor. Purpose: The purpose of the study is to identify and define the value of rating. Execution: The study is built upon nine interviews with rated and non-rated firms and investors.

American football is a well-known sport in America. In addition to the design and rules of the game and the surface it is played on, there are also other differences that are not directly visible. One difference noted in this study is how the teams in the game provide players. Each team has a board of directors together with the team's leadership and they will determine which players are most suitable for the team. These players are recruited to the team after graduating from a U.S.

Today the ability to swim is taken for granted by most people. Most of Sweden?s adult population can swim which is reflected in the reduced number of accidental drownings. About 1900 AD when Sweden?s population was about five million the average drownings per year was 1100.

The purpose of this study was to illustrate a parental perspective of children´s participation and quality of live through personal assistance. Important aspects of parents' experiences were highlighted based on how they experienced participation and quality of life for their children. We chose to use a qualitative approach in the form of four individual interviews with parents from different municipalities in central Sweden. The study was conducted with a narrative approach in which we used a holistic perspective. Parents' experiences were highlighted over time to create a complete picture.

Syftet med föreliggande uppsats var att studera vilka motivationsfaktorer, passionsfaktorer samt vilken grad av självförtroende som uppvisas hos ungdomslandslagsspelare i fotboll. Vidare undersöktes samband mellan passion och självförtroende samt hur motivation var relaterat till passion och självförtroende. I studien deltog 288 manliga och kvinnliga fotbollspelare i åldrarna 15-17 år (M=16,02, Sd=1,06) från svenska ungdomslandslaget i fotboll. I studien användes Vealeys Sportconfidence Scale (VSS), Sport Motivation Scale (SMS) och The Passion Scale (PS). Resultatet visade att det fanns statistiska signifikanta samband mellan de tre variablerna passion, motivation och självförtroende.

When contemplating entering an alliance the rationale behind the decision should differdepending on the size of the companies involved as well as on other important factors. The importantfactors influencing the decision are related to the resource pooling potential of the alliance,the power structure along with the business network the companies are a part of. Theanalysis has shown proof of a need for cooperation if one wish to succeed in the telecommunicationindustry and it has also determined which resources that are deemed to be most important toget in touch with, for our study object, to facilitate its access to the market. Those resources aredefined as a direct channel to the customer, funds/capital and the access to relevant businessnetworks. To get in touch with these lacking resources, three alternative approaches has beenproposed; all of them involving a strategic alliance decision.
