Companies will increasingly begin to link their applications, and the technology that makesthis possible is called integration. The more applications that are connected, the more of the company's data flows through these integrations. It is also clear that data analyses to create business value and to get competitive advantages against its competitors are important. In this paper, we examine how companies create business value and competitive advantages throughthe integration platforms and metadata from the integrations. We have interviewedpeople from three companies in the industrial sector, each with an integration platform.We have also interviewed Enfo Zystems, a company that provides development andmanagement of integration platforms to these customers.

Bakgrund: Patienter som genomgår en svår livskris, till exempel vid en livshotande sjukdom, kan uppleva ett andligt lidande. Det är viktigt att dessa patienter får stöd av sjuksköterskor som har kompetens i att uppmärksamma patientens andliga behov. Andlig omvårdnad höjer välbefinnandet för patienter som upplever andligt lidande. Andlig omvårdnad kännetecknas bland annat av aktivt lyssnande, relationsskapande, lyhördhet för patientens behov samt en öppen och ärlig kommunikation. Syfte: Studiens syfte var att utforska hur indiska sjuksköterskor svarade på de andliga behoven hos patienterna.

Detta examensarbete på D-nivå beskriver skapandet av BI-applikationer och analys av treolika BI-system. Projekten har givits av Cederroth International AB som är ett av Sverigesstörsta företag inom dagligvaruhandeln. Uppsatsen ger en inblick i vad BI är och hur BIfungerar i företagsvärlden. Det ges även en stegvis beskrivning i hur en applikation skapasmed hjälp av BI-systemet QlikView och analyser av BI-systemen QlikView, SQL Server 2005och BusinessObjects XI om huruvida dessa uppfyller de funktionella kraven på ett BI-verktyg.Bakgrundsinformation om Cederroth och dess system för affärsdatahantering ges också iuppsatsen.Den BI-applikation som beskrivs i denna uppsats involverar finsk återförsäljningsdata.Stegen från grunddata till färdig applikation beskrivs och förklaras ingående i uppsatsen.Analysen av de tre BI-systemen som därefter gjorts har beskrivits i en del därgrundinformation följs av en analys med hänsyn till de funktionella aspekterna i BI-systemen.Denna analys resulterade i ett likvärdigt resultat för de tre BI-systemen. Background The aim of palliative care is to improve the quality of life for both the patient and her next of kin during the patient?s end of life. Palliative care rests on the four cornerstones managing symptoms, communication and relationship, teamwork and relative support. The nurses? task is to assess the patients? physical, mental and spiritual needs according to these four cornerstones.Aim To assess nurses? experiences of treating patients at the end of life.Method Eleven academic journals that respond to the aim has been analyzed and synthesized in a literature review in order to summarize current research on the subject.

This paper examines possible applications of fuzzy logic on the field of artificial intelligence in digital games. It describes fuzzy logic in contrast to crisp logic. The paper will give several examples of possible applications of fuzzy logic-based decision making for game AI. These examples include the choosing of weapons for AI agents and the gas-break decision of an AI-controlled car. The paper will also analyze the impacts of game AI which makes decisions based on many factors.

The study aims to describe and analyze the image of Mary Magdalene as expressed in the French artwork from 1400 and 1600s that this study deals with. The study also examines the historical context in order to find explanations for why the images of Mary Magdalene have changed. In the study Erwin Panofsky?s iconographic method is used to analyze the artworks and finding their underlying meaning. Delimitations are made that only works of art made by French artists from the 1400 and 1600s are analyzed and delimitations are also made that Mary Magdalene will act on her own in the works of art.

Based on 30 years of work experience in TV and film production, I have made a phenomenological analysis of my perception of meaning in work - how it arises and how it is undermined. The story starts in my experience of early professional film making in the 1980's and describes how a change to work in TV production required the development of a new professional identity. The text also illustrates how as a female director I have managed my role in a male dominated and structured work environment. Being defined as an exception from the male norm has pushed me towards femininist reflection and the need to redefine my own work role - the generally accepted view having felt uncomfortable. An analysis of structural change in TV and film production shows how market pressures and ways of thought have increasingly invaded cultural endeavour. Professional spheres of influence are weakened, while developments in the media are characterised by a commercialism which encroaches more and more upon artistic, spiritual and moral values. This attitude, where quality is in retreat, has transformedprogramme makers from creative originators into becoming suppliers of raw material in a factory- like process geared to produce great volume at low cost.The aim of this essay is to show how changes in society and in TV and film making have affected my perception of my work.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av att lindra patienters andliga lidande. En kvalitativ metod med induktiv ansats och deskriptiv design valdes och data insamlades genom intervjuer med sjuksköterskor inom onkologisk vård. Semistrukturerade frågor användes och data analyserades genom latent innehållsanalys, med inspiration av Granheim & Lundman (2003). Resultatet presenteras i kategorier och subkategorier som beskriver förutsättningar men också vilka hinder som finns för att lindra andligt lidande. Förutsättningar och hinder kan förklaras som inre och yttre och beskriver sjuksköterskans personliga egenskaper och förmågor samt arbetsgruppen och organisationen.

Denna rapport jämför prestandan mellan state-of-the-art AI-botar i racing spelet TORCS och en AI-bot som kör med hjälp av ett artificiellt neuralt nätverk (ANN-bot). ANN-boten, som implementerades som en del av arbetet, använder en feedforward arkitektur och backpropagation för inlärning. Ett separat program som användes för att träna det neurala nätverket med träningdata som spelats in från TORCS implementerades också. Som state-of-the-art AI-botar användes AI-botar som har använts i en tävling. De fyra AI-botarna testades på åtta olika banor och data om hur lång tid varje varv tog och hur snabbt AI-botarna körde sparades och sammanställdes. Resultaten visar att på banorna som ANN-boten klarar av att köra runt så är ANN-boten snabbare än en den långsamaste state-of-the-art boten, men ANNboten klara inte av majoriteten av banorna som den testades på.

As artificial intelligence (AI) has gained more influence in recruitment, both recruitment processes and the role of the recruiter are changing. This study aims to describe and analyze how recruiters translate, use, and relate to AI in their work. Through a qualitative method based on semi-structured interviews and document analysis, the study explores recruiters? experiences, attitudes, as well as perceived obstacles and opportunities regarding the use of AI in recruitment. With a theoretical foundation in translation theory, fashion, and imitation, the study examines how AI is not only followed as a trend, but also shaped and adapted locally through translation, depending on organizational identity and needs.

I dagens samhälle riktas fokus på individens välbefinnande och olika metoder för att uppnå detta såväl privat som inom yrkeslivet. Emotionell intelligens (EI) har genom tidigare forskningsresultat visat sig ha ett positivt samband med livstillfredställelse, vilket är en komponent i individens subjektiva välbefinnande (SWB). Denna studie syftade till att utforska relationen mellan EI och livstillfredställelse med hänsyn till demografiska bakgrundsvariabler som ålder, kön, etnicitet, studietid och civilstånd. Deltagare var 101 högskolestudenter inom vårdande, pedagogiska, sociologiska och psykologiska studieinriktningar. Deltagarna besvarade självskattningsskalor utifrån instrument om EI (TMMS) och livstillfredställelse (SWLS).

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how nuns regard reading. The reading of the Bible is a regular element in their everyday life. This study however, focuses mainly on the nuns? self-chosen reading beyond the reading of the Bible.

This study centres on the question of how interfaith dialogue can function as a meeting place for young people from different social and cultural backgrounds. The study is based on qualitative interviews with five young participants in an interfaith project taking place in Sweden in 2013 and 2014. For reading the material through a lens of late modern religiosity, Heelas and Woodheads thesis of a spiritual revolution was used. To be able to conclude whether the religiousness of the participants functions as a social resource, Hammack and Cohlers term narrative engagement is used. Lastly Knitters models of theologies of religions was used in the analysis of how the participants reads and understands their own and the others faiths.The study shows that the participants meet in the common aim of defining a religious identity in a late modern and pluralistic society.
