Trioplanex International AB is a part of the group Trioplast Industrier AB, which produces packaging materials for the film and hygiene industry. The group is active throughout Europe, where most of the production is located in Sweden, with head office in Smålandsstenar. Operations in Landskrona consist of Trioplanex International AB and Trioplast Landskrona.Semi-finished articles consisting of paper cores, so called bobbins, give rise to a high amount of core waste in any form of core cutting. The objective of the report is to map out all core waste and illustrate the material flow with regard to present layout and equipment.In the beginning of the project an analysis of the current process was carried out with focus on the cutting equipment. A case study in the form of an improvement work took place in order to reduce the causes which had the biggest impact on existing machinery.Improvement proposals were discussed by the author together with supervisor, assigner and other parties involved.

Examensarbetet Justerbar serveringsmodul utfördes under vintern 06-07 på Coffee Queen AB i Arvika. Uppdraget var att lösa problemet med att olika stora koppar används i kaffe maskiner. Problemet krävde någon form av justerbar anordning för att undvika Spill och liknande. Efter konkurrentanalys och en del funderande genererades två principlösningar flytta koppen eller kaffeutloppet. En kopphylla steglöst justerbar med hjälp av magneter valdes ut att gå vidare med.

Effektivisering går som en röd tråd genom dagens samhälle där allt ska ske snabbare, bättre och billigare. OilQuick AB är ett familjeföretag i Hudiksvall som har specialiserat sig på gränssnittet mellan maskin och redskap. På arbetsplatser där maskinförarna använder sig av ett flertal hydrauliskt drivna redskap kan man spara tid genom att koppla redskap och hydraulik utan att lämna hytten. Med OilQuicks redskapsfäste slipper föraren lämna hytten vid varje redskapsväxling, dessa moment är tidsödande och sliter på knän och ryggar hos förarna. UN is a non-governmental organization which should promote gender equality within the organization. It is an organization which is based on human rights and claims that in order to solve the problem of poverty, famine and development we need to promote women?s status. In Sweden there is a strong tradition of gender balanced representation at the governmental level and this perspective raise the question if there is a Spill-over effect to the civil society as in the case of a non-governmental organization. This makes it interesting to look at if a non-governmental organization which is not under state control work for gender equality within their own organization.

Store managers and brand owners have realized the benefits of sales promoting activities in-store, which thus have become a common sight for consumers when grocery shopping. Using in-store displays, a brand?s sales can increase by more than 1000 percent. We believe, however, that displays can give rise to additional effects to those previous studies have shown. The purpose of our study was therefore to map possible side effects that a display can generate depending on the strength of the exposed brand.

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is widely regarded as a significant catalyst for economic development especially in emerging and developing economies. While previous research has found different effects from foreign direct investments in different countries this study aims to explore the varying effects of FDI in Serbia and Montenegro. The study focuses on how FDI influences key economic indicators, specifically GDP per capita and employment rates, in the context of their aspirations to join the European Union (EU). Employing a comparative approach, the thesis examines the differing trajectories of Montenegro and Serbia in utilizing FDI for economic advancement. The research reveals that while Serbia shows significant positive correlation between FDI and both GDP per capita and employment rates, Montenegro displays no significant relationship in these aspects.

When harvesting ley you hope to get a fast drying and a faster harvest. If there is a system with round bales, you need to have a dry matter close to 45 %. To make this as fast as possible, there is made a machine which pick up the grass with an pick-up. It turn the grass over and put it behind the machine (figure 2 and 4). There are few tests to prove the efficiency of this machine.

A lot of mine waste rock and tailings arise from all mining processes and have to be stored in an appropriate way. Tailings are deposited in impoundments retained by tailings dams. The objective of tailings dams is to retain the slurry from the mining process and in that way prevent Spill into the surroundings that might be harmful for the environment. Tailings dams are often constructed as staged embankments so that construction costs and demand of materials are spread more evenly over the period of deposition.The objective of this thesis has been to compile information about and evaluate events at Swedish tailings dams and also to develop a collective database for all Swedish mining companies for all tailings dams and all events that occur at tailings dams.Information about 60 events at Swedish tailings dams has been gathered and evaluated. The evaluation has been performed by comparison between and analysis of individual parameters and also by use of a multivariate statistical method called PLS.

Purpose: When the Deepwater Horizon oilrig in the Gulf of Mexico faced disaster in late April 2010, news coverage immediately began of the disaster that would unfold. BP took the blame and its financial resources were strained as it struggled with stopping the oil leak, cleanup work as well as its PR image. While the US took many blows of the consequences to ecosystem and tourism, financial consequences swept across the world, mainly Britain, where BP had its headquarters.The event gives an excellent chance at comparing the media coverage from both the US and Britain. By studying The Daily Telegraph and The New York Times, we want to see both similarities and differences in the themes they focused on as well as seeing trends in the themes over time.Theories: The theory chapter is heavily based around the Agenda-setting theory in the media communication field.Methodology: A quantitative content analysis (QCA) of some 500 news articles in The Daily Telegraph and The New York Times from April 22 to July 15. The QCA was made to find the main theme of articles to give us data on how many articles of each theme, as well as their distribution over time.

Skanska Sverige AB i Skellefteå bedriver nu ett nybyggnadsprojekt som inkluderar allt arbete med infrastruktur i ett område där 79 stycken nya villatomter i ett tidigare obrutet område ska skapas. Då projektet genomförs i en relativt känslig miljö råder ett frågetecken kring kapacitet på framdriften med arbetet med VA, inkluderat arbete som schaktning, ledningsbädd, rörläggning, brunnar, kringfyllning och resterande återfyllning. Syftet med examensarbetet är att skapa ett underlag för resursuppföljning av VA-arbetet på område 1 i projektet Västra Eriksberg och att skapa ett underlag avseende kapacitet på framdrift i den typ av terräng samt under de förutsättningar som råder. De ingående aktiviteter i VA-arbetena kopplade till AMA-koder har kopplats ihop och tidsatt som en gemensam aktivitet. Examensarbetet har genomförts som en fallstudie och realiserats genom dagliga observationer och mätningar under en tidsperiod ute på byggarbetsplatsen.
