I denna studie undersöks om det finns skillnader mellan lärare som har specialpedagogisk utbildning jämfört med lärare som inte har denna sortens utbildning. Hur påverkar detta elevernas inlärningsmiljö? Kort sagt: ?Lärarnas erfarenheter och dess betydelse för elevernas inlärningsmiljö.? Den studie som jag arbetat efter är Assarsons (2007) studie om kompetens att möta alla elever och den teori som jag använt är praxistriangeln som passar in till lärarnas personliga erfarenhet kopplat till överförd kunskap till andra människor, som i detta fall är eleverna. Empirin består av observationer av idrottslektioner och intervjuer av undervisande lärare. 13 lektioner observerades och fyra lärare från fyra olika skolor intervjuades.

Examensarbetets syfte har i ett första skede varit att genomföra en litteraturstudie av interkulturell forskning. Utifrån de fyra temana, Mångkultur, Värdegrund, Demokrati och Språk som framkommit vid litteraturstudien har jag sedan genomfört en tematisk dokument- och intervjustudie med utgångspunkt från de fyra kategorierna. Syftet har varit att se hur kategorierna i den interkulturella forskningen kommer till uttryck i gymnasieskolans läroplan och i några samhällslärares tankar kring deras egen undervisning. Lärarnas svar relateras till vad som står i läroplanen och till tankegångarna hos forskarna. En interkulturell pedagogik, läroplanen samt lärarintervjuerna beskriver hur mångfald utvecklar, breddar och fördjupar elevers lärande i vår mångkulturella kontext. Skolan behöver dock fortgående skapa reflektion och medvetenhet kring den kulturella mångfalden för att skapa förståelse inför elevers olikheter.

Uppsatsen är ett examensarbete inom kursen Praxis, forskning och utvecklingsarbete. Det valda problemområdet är: Specialpedagogik i montessoriskolan. Forskningsansatsen är inspirerad av en socialkonstruktivistisk- och etnografiskteoriansats utifrån studiens problemområde och syfte. Studiens syfte är: Att undersöka och lyfta fram hur specialpedagogik gestaltar sig i montessoriskolan. Studiens upplägg utformas som praxisforskning och genomförs som en komparativ fallstudie vid två montessoriskolor.

The purpose of this study is to compare an inquiry-based teaching method for natural sciences in municipal schools and special education and to find out if this way of teaching may be helpful when working with students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).The Swedish national curriculum of 2011 states that teaching methods should be fitted to every student?s needs and preconditions. The implication of this is very important for all students, especially for children with special needs. The theoretical framework that has been applied as a foundation for this study is Vygotskijs "Zone of Proximal Development" and Deweys "Learning by Doing". The method applied for the study is a semi structured interview and five teachers where interviewed.The result of the study shows that teachers with a higher education in natural sciences are more confident with regards to teaching natural sciences and the application of the inquiry-based way of teaching.

This report is the result of a thesis carried out at the Department of Innovation, Design and Technology (IDT), at Mälardalen University on behalf of ABB AB Machines.The year was 1988 when ASEA and Brown Boveri formed a joint venture under the name ABB (Asea Brown Boveri).We perform our thesis at the division Discrete Automation and Motion where they primarily develops, manufactures and sells synchronous and asynchronous AC motors and generators.The main purpose of this thesis was initially to write a general packaging instruction, but the priority changed to develop more specific packaging instructions for Rotors, Stator gables, Bearing support and Outer Cover (plates) instead.The work started off to deal with a problem about that the staff had to start its work to grind away rust on the stator gables due to those stored outdoors. The result was mainly an investment in a new gable rack so that the material can be stored inside, as well as a packing instruction as it was originally intended.The problem on the bearing supports were that the staff thought it was demanding and difficult to clean them from the rustproofing they were greased in. If it is not possible to remove all rust protection it can cause the paint to not attach properly. After having compared with similar articles a test were done to order a pair of bearing supports without corrosion inhibitor, which gave good results. This initiative also set in motion a process to do the same for more different items.For special pallet, a survey were made of the process with two different VSM and a calculation of how much ABB would earn at ordering more special pallets than getting the material delivered on the A-pallets.

En norm genererar flera normer som alla verkar i ett ömsesidigt beroende av varandra i de flesta sammanhang en människa befinner sig i. Normer säger inte bara åt oss hur vi ska bete oss för att passa in, de ingår även i en kontext av maktutövning där människor ofrivilligt och omedvetet kan begränsas och kategoriseras utifrån olika typer av sociala hierarkier. Det är normen i sig som skapar kategorier och har förmånen att definiera vad som anses normalt i förhållande till det avvikande. Denna förmån kräver samtidigt ett självhävdelsebehov där normen ständigt är utsatt för att positionera sig mot det avvikande vilket även kan innebära en möjlighet för den att misslyckas. Normen är således även föremål för föränderlighet och det är i denna anda av föränderlighet en normkritisk pedagogik vill verka utmanande och granskande i sin ansats att dekonstruera det normala i dess normalitet.Vilka normer och normaliteter det kan tänkas handla om att utmana och granska i en lärares vardag och hur arbetet med denna utmaning bedrivs, är föremål för denna uppsats med syfte att undersöka och analysera tre lärares tankar kring normkritisk pedagogik i sin undervisning.

A pupil with ADHD is constantly getting new impulses and is unable to focus and remain concentration on their task at school. When the pupil loses concentration he or she can often be loud and thereby disturbing all the other pupils in the classroom. One of the reasons for losing their concentration is that these pupils got poor working memory. A recently study shows that working memory can be improved by playing and practice music.A theory that all people have a multiple intelligence that emerges from learning is a part of this study because school should encourage all children and ensure their individual learning. Multiple intelligences means that each person learns in different ways, for example through the musical intelligence that this essay partly focuses on.

 The aim of this study was to describe the experiences and thoughts among midwives when encountering same sex couples at the maternity ward. Further, the aim was to explore the midwives attitudes towards education about special needs among same sex couples and their thoughts about contents and design of such education. The study had a descriptive design using a qualitative method. The data was collected through interviews with 10 midwives in February 2009. The midwives worked at two different maternity wards.

The purpose of this study is to examine how two educators at a preschool that is located in a neighborhood south of Stockholm works with TAKK with children who has Down syndrome in a language promotion purposes. The aim is also to investigate what teachers think about using TAKK with children without special needs and children with Down syndrome.In this study, I used qualitative research methods. I've used both observations and interviews to get answers to my questions. The theories which I have used in this thesis is, socio-cultural perspective, including integration and segregated integration.In order to find out how the educators work with TAKK I have asked these questions:How do the educators work with TAKK with children with Down syndrome from a language development perspective?What do the educators express about using TAKK with children without special needs and with children who has Down syndrome?My conclusions to these questions are that the literatures I have read in many ways are consistent with how they work.

AbstractHow do pupils with intellectual disabilities experience participation and involvement in school work? It was a question I had in mind when I was formulating the thesis statement. I wanted to catch pupils? experiences and analyze them from the sociology of childhood. Do pupils want more involvement and what obstacles and opportunities do pupils find to exert participation and involvement?The study is based on six interviews conducted with pupils enrolled in the compulsory school for pupils with intellectual disabilities.

In the essay, the balance between being an educator and a mother of a child with autism is explored in respect to how the roles might influence the actions of a pre-school teacher. This essay deals with the rationale and aims for doing cultural or aesthetic activities and projects in schools, and gives special focus to a specific group of students, attending schools provided at special residential homes for young people (sa?rskilda ungdomshem). These homes receive young people with psychosocial and substance misuse problems and who show tendencies towards criminal behavior. The essay investigates how working with a cultural project in schools at these residential homes is justified and also elucidates how this specific group of students and their problems are constructed in the documents surrounding the project. The essay will further ponder over possible educational and pedagogical consequences of these constructions.The investigation has its theoretical frame work in curriculum theory.

AbstractGrowing up with a functionally disabled sibling can bring joy and positive experiences, but also complications. The purpose of this paper is to describe the experience of growing up with a functionally disabled sibling. I have chosen to focus the examination on how individuals with functionally disabled siblings believe they have been affected by their relationship to their functional disabled sibling and whether it has continued to affect them in adulthood.The examination was qualitative and conducted through interviews. The results showed that siblings of functionally disabled individuals tend to grow up with strong feelings of responsibility and anxiety that continue to affect them into adulthood. The investigation further showed that all interviewed chose occupations in care, and that they give great attention to relationships to others.

The aim of this study is to describe and examine the characteristics of inclusion of children with disabilities in the kinder garden and primary school in Belarus. The data in this study were collected through interviews with special teachers and staff at the Developing and Rehabilitation center. The interviews were supported by child-observations and a literature study. Staying in boarding schools prevents handicap students from integrating with the society as well as getting social experience. Integrated education demands the combination of two regularities: education of children with normal development and special education of children with psycho-physiological problems.
