Aspergers syndrom i vanlig skola. : En undersökning om hur man kan underlätta för elever med Aspergers syndrom i en vanlig skolgång.

Syftet med min uppsats är alltså att ta reda på hur man kan underlätta elevers, som har Aspergers syndrom eller visar tecken på att befinna sig inom kriterierna för diagnosbedömningen utav Aspergers syndrom, vanliga skolgång. Den metod jag har använt mig av i undersökningen är kvalitativa intervjuer.Det resultat som framkommit är att de intervjuade pedagogernas verktyg för att jobba med elever som har Aspergers syndrom kan man likväl använda i det vanliga klassrummet, med små förändringar. Med god planering, tydliga regler, tydliga rutiner, ett öppet sinne och tydlighet så funkar de intervjuades arbetssätt även i det vanliga klassrummet. Något som framkom i en intervju var att man önskade sig en egen läroplan för elever med Aspergers syndrom med tanke på att dem ibland kan behöva mer träning inom det som hör till det sociala livet så att säga och att man inte hinner med det på samma sätt eftersom man har läroplanen att följa till punkt och pricka..

This thesis is based on an investigation to find out in what way 40 Swedish public librarieskeep and preserve their library materials. The investigation is based on inquiries sent outto the libraries. It deals with the keeping of books with regard to external factors which havedestructive effects on library materials as well as the safety at the library buildings. It is, aswell, about the preserving work being done at the libraries.Comparisons are made with literature and accounts about preserving measures and recommendationsregarding appropriate environment in premises and depositories. Specialpedagogik ur ett lärarperspektiv : Hur arbetar läraren i klassen för att inkludera elever med ADHD i klssrumsundervisningen?

It is a well-known fact that children with ADHD are hyperactive and have a hard time concentrating; therefore it is of interest to examine how teachers deal with this fact. This study expands the understanding of how teachers work with children who has ADHD; the main purpose of this study has been to examine how teachers view students with ADHD and how they work to include these students in the classroom environment.  special pedagogy has been used to analyze the results. The results are based on four interviews in two schools in south of Stockholm with teachers who work in classes that contain children in the third grade, some of the children have been diagnosed with ADHD and some only have strong characteristics for the functional limitation. Findings suggest that teachers? use structure, planning and the modification of students? individual needs to make them included in the classroom education.

En skola för alla, men hur? : En studie om hur olika yrkesgrupper inom skolan ser på samverkan kring inkludering ur ett specialpedagogiskt perspektiv.

This study aims to develop knowledge of different professional groups and their views on inclusion and collaboration concerning "students in difficulty." Through qualitative interviews and a quantitative survey, the researcher sought answers to this and also how inclusion, through collaboration between different professional groups, can develop in school.The results of the study have been analyzed according by Nilholms (2007) three different perspectives on special education: The critical perspective, the compensatory perspective and the dilemma perspective. The results were also analyzed based on Ahlberg's (2013) communicative ? relationship perspective.The result shows that the concept of inclusion is not clearly defined either in the governing documents or among the interviewees. This makes it difficult to speak the same language in school, which complicates the work of inclusion. Since the governing documents are unclear and somewhat contradictory when dealing with "students in difficulty" educators are put in a dilemma.

Interaktionsloggning i Scania Interactor

Scania provides a fleet management system for hauliers who want to control their fleets in anefficient way. The system includes an onboard computer with touch screen called ScaniaInteractor where the driver can access GPS navigation, order support, message service and otherfunctionalities. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a concept for logging the user interactionon the Interactor and analyze the result which enables further development and optimization ofthe interface.A demonstration application is designed, implemented and tested for the purpose of showing thepossibilities and difficulties with logging of interaction. The result shows that logging is quiteeasy to implement and that the amount of produced data is small and therefore not expensive totransfer via GPRS to a central server where searching and analysis can be done. On the otherhand, the biggest challenge lies in the analysis and interpretation of the logged data and to applyit to the development of the interface.

This work is a product development of a product which facilitates enduro drivers swallowing fluid while driving. My own experience of the problem and a custom survey gave me some frames and requirements of how such a product would look. To obtain the different concepts the method of brainstorming was used where I outlined the various proposals. The basic concept was that some kind of pump would build pressure in the liquid and when the user opens the nozzle the liquid will come out without the need to use the mouth to suck. The screening phase consisted of two steps.

The purpose of this study was to investigate how natural science as a special subject in pre-school education is expressed by five trainee teachers when they teach children at the age of 2-7. After emergencies involving chemical spills it is of great importance that correct measures are taken with short notice, both for the security of people and in order to minimize future environmental consequences. The RIB-unit at the Swedish Rescue Services Agency initiated this study, the aim of which is to propose changes to the existing chemical transport calculation tool: Chemical Spill 3.4, included in RIB - Integrated Decision Support for Civil Protection, so that it can be used for decision support as well as in preventive work. A rough estimation of chemical transport in the subsurface is considered being of great importance when making decisions during emergency response operations.The proposition presented in this report is a non site specific chemical transport model which is designed to give a rough estimation of NAPL flow in homogenous isotropic soil shortly after an instantaneous release. The model can be used at two levels; both in situations without access to information on subsurface properties, and with more accuracy in situations with knowledge of the included parameters. For that reason the user can choose among predefined alternatives or assign the parameters a numeric value to increase the quality of the model output.

Overweight and obesity is currently a major health problem in our dogs all around the world and it is becoming more common each year. There are few studies on the proportion of overweight dogs in Sweden, but it was estimated to be 33% in 2005. Studies in other countries report that between 25-40% of all dogs are overweight. The aim of this study was to survey the animal care for an overweight dog. It was also important to develop a scientifically based advice.

TV-spel och folkbibliotek - nya medier, mediepanik och biblioteksdiskurser

The aim of this master's thesis is to study what attitude public libraries in Sweden show towards video games. By using critical discourse analysis as both theory and method we analyse several texts emerging from a debate mainly discussed in blogs. Main topics in the debate are video games in the library, the purpose of the public library and Library 2.0. Our analysis focus on views expressed concerning the work and purpose of the public library, the librarian and the library user - and to identify the main visible discourses in the discussion.Our findings consist of two discourses representing two different views in the debate. We call these two discourses the general educational discourse and the interactive discourse.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine in what way library users are depicted on images at two academic libraries; the University College of Borås Library & Learning Resources (BLR) and the Gothenburg University Library (GUB). 62 images, from websites and information brochures, are analyzed and the main questions are: How are users represented on images? What activities are shown? What is the difference between BLR and GUB? How can the consequences of the representations be understood? Little is currently known in the LIS-field about how images work as constructors of the social reality. The theoretical and methodological point of departure of the study is discourse analysis, new institutional theory and picture analysis.

Genom metoden livsberättelse får vi här ta del av specialpedagogen Evas berättelse. Denna kvinna har arbetat inom skolans värld i 45 år och har en stor livserfarenhet att dela med sig av. Arbetets mål är att ge en bild av en specialpedagogs kompetensutvecklig och arbetsmetoder i skolan under årtionden. Inriktningen på intervjuerna är berättelser om Evas arbete med barn och deras tal, språk och kommunikation. Uppsatsen tar upp språkutvecklingen hos barn samt Evas arbetsmetoder för att kartlägga förskolebarns språkutveckling.
