In the digital era, new services have entered the public libraries, like seeking information on the Internet, in databases, newspapers online etc. But many citizens do not know that these services exist. The libraries have a democratic responsibility to inform about them. In the county of Östergötland a project started in 2001 where libraries in five small municipalities built websites in which they present all their electronic services available. One of the aims was with the help of different kinds of marketing to reach special groups of people, like adult students, small companies and politicians.

Bakgrund: Samhället står idag, till följd av 40-talisternas förväntade pensionsavgångar, inför en omfattande generationsväxling. Således ställs allt högre krav på gynnsam kompetens- försörjning inte minst inom kommunal sektor. För att möta problematiken är Traineeprogram inom denna sektor en växande trend varför vi såg det som ett intressant studieobjekt att utvärdera Traineeprogrammet Skåne Nordväst.Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva och analysera traineeprogrammets bakgrund, process och utfall, att utifrån det organisations- pedagogiska perspektivet förklara programmets utfall på individ och organisationsnivå samt att diskutera principer för utveckling av traineeprogram.Metod: De metodologiska utgångspunkterna för den empiriska studien är en kvalitativt inriktad fallstudie med induktiv ansats och ramfaktormodellen som struktur.Resultat: Genom att studera traineeprogrammet i sin helhet framgick en rad kritiska moment som kan sägas ha haft påverkan på det i stort gynnsamma utfallet. För att skapa en förklarings- modell relaterades resultatet till former av utveckling och kollektiva lärprocesser. Detta diskuterades sedan med avseende på hur syftesuppfyllelsen i programmet är beroende av synen på utveckling, som formning eller emergent.

In this essay, we have compared a conventional house to a passive house. The housesshared the same local conditions; they have the same living area and the same layout. Thedifferences between the houses were the different construction solutions for the roof, theouter walls, the floor and the heating system. Both the houses qualify the standards fromBBR and the passive house also lives up to FEBY?s special conditions.The purpose with the essay was to examine if it really is profitable to build small hoses aspassive houses.

This essay studies what has been written about religious experience and visions both in the past and now. It deals with both the religious experience and tries to explain how and if there is any place in the modern society for religious visions and experience. The essay has a strong theoretical perspective to psychology of religion as presented by Anton Geels whose writings in the subject have been of one of my main sources.The study shows that people of all times and cultures have had religious visions and the feeling of a divine experience even if this has changed because of tradition, time and place. Religious experience and visions can furthermore occur both in a spontaneous, unprepared way as well as being cultured through ascetic practice in order to facilitate the divine reception. The study also shows that religious experience in no means is reserved for special ?chosen ones? but can occur to each and every one, no matter what class, race or position in life.

The aim of this thesis was to examine the ways in which librarianswork to stimulate the joy of reading in boys. Four children- andschool librarians were chosen for interviews in which they wereasked questions about boys' reading and the approaches they usedto help boys. The librarians were asked if they perceived boys'reading as problematic, what methods they used to stimulate thejoy of reading and if they thought it would be helpful to work withboys and girls in different ways. They were asked what theythought was the biggest challenges in changing the boys? attitudestowards reading and what they would do if they could choosefreely without any constraints in time or money.Aidan Chambers' "The circle of reading" was used to compare atheory about reading to the ways in wich the librarians worked andtheir thoughts about how to initiate reading.

Alla barn har rätt att lyckas med sin läs- och skrivinlärning. Syftet med studien är att undersöka om tidig medveten träning ger många tidiga läsare och därmed undviker onödiga läs- och skrivsvårigheter. Den empiriska delen av uppsatsen har genomförts i två kommuner. Studien består dels av en kvantitativ enkätundersökning vars syfte var att spåra skolor med många tidiga läsare och dels av en kvalitativ intervjustudie, i syfte att undersöka bakomliggande faktorer till grupper med många tidiga läsare. Respondenterna består av åtta lärare verksamma i sex förskolegrupper i två kommuner i södra Sverige. Studien visar vad gäller de undersökta skolorna att metodisk träning ger bra resultat, men också att bakomliggande sociala faktorer har betydelse.

Organisationsförändring och dess effekter är något som många upplever. Syftet med studien är att med utgångspunkt i ett arbetslivspedagogiskt perspektiv beskriva och analysera individers uppfattning av en organisationsförändring inom sjukvården. Uppfattningarna analyseras huvudsakligen ur ett organisationskulturellt perspektiv.Uppsatsen bygger på en empirisk undersökning, med kvalitativ induktiv ansats. Intervjuer har genomförts med tre sjuksköterskor och tre undersköterskor verksamma vid två olika avdelningar på ett sjukhus i Skåne, där verksamhetsledningen beslutat om och genomfört en organisationsförändring, en sammanslagning av två avdelningar.I intervjuerna framkommer att merparten av personalen själva önskat en sammanslagning, inte minst utifrån behovet av en ny chef. Denna önskan är enligt respondenterna, en av avdelningarnas främsta syfte till organisationsförändringen.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur lärare som har blivit mobbade som barn anser att förebyggande mobbningsarbete bör bedrivas. Den undersöker även hur deras utsatthet som barn påverkat deras lärarroll. Undersökningen är gjord genom kvalitativa intervjuer med två lärare och två lärarstudenter. En av slutsatserna är att lärarna påverkats mycket av sin bakgrund vad gäller deras sätt att förhålla sig till både starka och svaga elever. De har generellt svårare för att relatera till elever som påminner om de personer som utsatte dem som barn.

Uppsatsen behandlar barns begär så som den beskrivs i ett par utvalda barnböcker som analyseras djupare. Detta utifrån en analysmodell inspirerad av Butler och Foucault.Uppsatsen gör en historisk skildring över barndomsbegreppets tillkomst och synen på barnet och begäret. Hur den skiftat över tid, och hur barnet gjorts oskuldsfullt och hur en vilja att skydda och disciplinera det blivit dominerande. Textbehandlingen och analysen vill visa på möjligheterna att studera kön bortom det biologiska könet och också bortom genus. Här problematiseras kön djupare och barnets begär sätts in i ett kulturellt sammanhang.

This Master thesis is about how to involve young people in a creative process. The aim is to see what methods can be applied to make them reach the kind of knowledge they need to be able to contribute to the creation of a memorial place. Issues such as if a place that displays death has a right to exist in an urban environment or why young people should be involved in the creative process are brought up and discussed in this thesis.The memorial place that the young people contribute to is unique, in some sense, due to it not commemorating any special event or person. The purpose of the memorial is rather to serve the public when larger catastrophes occur or to serve individuals who do not have a grave they can visit to commemorate their loved ones. The idea is to place the memorial in an urban setting in the city of Borås.In this thesis the process that the young people participate in is reported in a form similar to a diary where the reader can follow the developments of the young participants, from how they gain knowledge to how they develop their ideas.

Background: Encounters between patient and health care have been shortened and fragmented. Times when the patient is in the continuum of care is related to how well the patient feels confirmed in the meeting with his/her carers. Aim : The aim of this study is to highlight skills that nurses use to provide good care relationships with patients in the ambulance and emergency room. Method: A literature review was done. Search for articles was conducted in the databases Cinahl and Pubmed.

Vi har valt att undersöka Ungdomstinget med fokus på inflytande och lärande. Syftet med detta arbete är att genom en fallstudie undersöka Ungdomstinget i Lund avseende delaktighet, medborgarfostran och bildning. Ungdomstinget är en arena för ungdomsdemokrati, en plats där engagemang och inflytande skapar bildning och lärande i en demokratifostran för Lunds ungdomar. Detta har vi undersökt genom kvalitativ metod med intervjuer och observationer som våra främsta undersökningsinstrument. Vi har intervjuat fem ungdomar ifrån Samordningsgruppen på Ungdomstinget samt en av grundarna till tinget och genomfört två observationer av Storting.Resultatet visar att ungdomarna vill vara med i Ungdomstinget för att de har en chans till inflytande och att de kan göra sina röster hörda.

Många organisationer idag har insett värdet av att styra genom värderingar. Trots seriösa försök är det ändå många som misslyckas. Vi har med denna uppsats haft som syfte att utifrån befintlig litteratur analysera innehållet i och villkoren för tänkbara processer, varigenom gemensamma värderingar kan skapas i en organisation. Vår studie har genomförts som en kvalitativ litteraturstudie. Hela uppsatsen är en analyserande process, vilket gör att ett kort svar på vårt syfte är omöjligt att ge.

The purpose of this study is to explain how the value of sawn wood changes when sawn wood are cut in 30 respective 60 cm lengths. The raw material into the saw mill will mainly be bucked in 30cm and 60 cm modules. There will also be two alternatives where the timber will be bucked special lengths, 370, 490 and 550 cm but also in 490 and 550 cm.The method used for the study is to simulate both cutting and sawing the woods. For cutting the simulator Timan is used and for sawing the simulator Timberopt is used. When data is generatedfrom the simulators, calculations of some key figures is done and also how much the revenue need to be increased for the sawn wood in order to cover for the increased costs of changing sawn woodfrom 30 cm to 60 cm modulesThe conclusion is that the single biggest reason, impacting the value of the sawn wood is the cutting at the saw mill.When going from 30 to 60 cm modules, the impact will be that the customers to the saw mill must pay more to increase the revenue by at least 10% for the sawn wood in order to justifice the changein production.It is also possible to increase the value of the products further by bucking the timber in three lengths, 370, 490 and 550 cm, in order to get 12 % increase of the share of longer sawn wood (>= 480 cm)..

The aim of this study was to examine nursing personnel?s knowledge about oral health care and attitudes towards the free assessment of the oral status done by the dental service for elderly and handicapped persons in a municipality in the south part of Skåne, and also how personnel experience the free assessment of the oral status done by the dental service and how it functioned at the facilities. The study was carried out by sending out 150 questionnaires to nursing personnel at six special housing facilities. 73% (110 personnel?s) answered the questionnaires.
