Article 5.1 in the Brussels I-Regulation regulates special rules on jurisdiction for contractual disputes. The aims of this thesis are to determine the location as provided under Article 5.1 b), as the place of performance for the obligation in question. The chief aim of this study is to investigate the impact of context on written peer response. A second aim is to explore students? attitudes towards peer response. The investigation has taken place at an upper secondary school in the south-east of Sweden, involving 20 students in grade 2 and 3 in the course Swedish C. The investigation is based on the students? comments on their peers? speech drafts and six qualitative interviews.

Music has a role to play in every country and every culture. Sweden today is a country whith many different cultures, religions and music genres. The purpose of this investigation is to study how immigrants youths profit from music education on the basis of music teachers' perspectives. Questions at issue are: are there immigrant children/ youths who can not take part in music education? Have the students' religions any importance? Do the parents question the offered education? Is there more opposition to some specific kind of music? Are teachers avoiding to present some music? Can music education help the immigrant youths to form their identities? I have used questionnaires and I have made five interviews.

A new type of chartered holiday, fitness holiday, has evolved during the last years and has also been mentioned in different media channels. Despite this, fitness holiday is a relatively new and unexplored phenomenon, which caught our interest to further explore this. The desire to travel on a holiday of this type has also increased. Therefore, a study about this particular phenomenon with focus on the traveler?s motives behind the choice to go has been done.It?s a qualitative study and most part of the data has been collected during a field study to Playitas Resort, Canary Islands.

Syftet med denna uppsats var att analysera hur samspelet såg ut mellan speldesigners och spelprogrammerare samt att analysera hur konflikter hanterades.Denna uppsats var av kvalitativ art och baserades på fyra intervjuer med två designers och två programmerare.Det visade sig att det rådde bra kommunikation på företaget mellan designers och programmerare, men att det är vissa konflikter som ändå fanns kvar. En bidragande orsak till en försämring av samspelet var att designers och programmerare inte kan beskriva varandras arbete.En konflikt som togs upp i arbetet var att designers och programmerare pratar två helt skilda språk. Detta har inneburit att yrket teknikartist har vuxit fram för att länka samman parterna. Teknikartistens intåg i dataspelsbranschen visade sig vara relativt nytt och det kan bli betydelsefullt framöver för att stärka samspelet..

This study shows how two different schools use dogs as a method of education. The purpose was to find out what kind of pedagogical thoughts my informants have about children' slearning in their connection with dogs, and in which way the interaction between the children and the dogs could affect the learning ability. I also wanted to find out what kind of possibilities and restrictions the dogs could give to the education according to my informants but also to find out how the projects were financed. To be able to answer these questions I put together a qualitative study, I had four interviews with people that were involved in the projects in one way or the other. To analyse the empirical material I looked up different theories about teaching, communication, interaction and motivation.My results showed that both schools have applied the method of ?teaching dogs? as a form of resource for students with special needs.

Sweden has a long and extensive wind band tradition. Today the interest for the traditional instruments is decreasing among children and teenagers. What can this be due to? Which conditions are needed for a functional wind band in the future? The purpose of this essay is to find answers to these questions and at the same time shed light on good examples, where the wind band activity works. To be able to answer the questions have I made four interviews with persons who have a big knowledge and interest about the subject.

Abstrakt Malmgren, Linda & Skoglund, Anna (2010). Den likvärdiga specialpedagogiken - det specialpedagogiska stödets utformning i två socioekonomiskt skilda områden. (The equivalent special needs education - the organisation of special education aid in two socio-economically diverse areas.) Skolutveckling och ledarskap, Specialpedagogik, Lärarutbildningen, Malmö högskola. Syftet med vårt arbete var att undersöka hur det specialpedagogiska stödets utformning och genomförande sker på två strukturellt liknande skolor i socioekonomiskt olika upptagningsområden, samt att belysa den allmänna synen på specialpedagogik. Som grund till vårt arbete ligger våra svenska lagar och förordningar, begreppet en skola för alla, samt några utvalda specialpedagogiska perspektiv. Våra undersökningar har baserats på semistrukturerade intervjuer samt enkäter.

Detta arbete är delvis en empirisk fortsättning av författarinnans c-uppsats "Företagsledares lärande i arbete". Ambitionen är att praktiskt studera hur ledare, i detta fall fyra kvinnliga rektorer, upplever sitt arbete och sin utveckling.Syftet är att undersöka relationen mellan erfarenheter gjorda i arbetet och rektorernas upplevda utveckling i sin yrkesroll. Stor vikt läggs vid de sociala relationernas påverkan av individen.Uppsatsen är en intervjustudie och utgår från det sociokulturella perspektivet. Detta ger speciella förutsättningar. Objektet som beskrivs blir med rådande förutsättningar inte rektorernas lärande i arbetet utan derasbeskrivna uppfattning av det samma.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att följa implementeringen av ett nytt svensk evidensbaserat program, SkolKomet, med fokus på lärarnas upplevelser av implementeringsprocessen på en skola. Metoden för detta är en kvalitativ, explorativ fallstudie. Triangulering sker genom intervjuer, observationer, dagboksanteckningar samt genom att vistas i den miljön som lärarna befinner sig i.Lärarnas uppfattningar är förankrade i teorier från implementationsforskningen, först i en analys för att få en fördjupad förståelse av detaljerna och sedan i en syntes, för att söka en helhet bestående av ett meningsfullt mönster.Mönstret som utkristalliserats utifrån lärarnas uppfattningar är att metoden SkolKomet är väl integrerad i skolans befintliga verksamhet, men att vissa farhågor kring implementeringen finns - främst avsaknaden av elever med problembeteende..

Background: Studies have shown that 66 children and teenagers in Sweden suffers from brain tumor every year. Children and teenagers who can´t participate in the regular school for a longer time for whatever reason, have by the school law the right to education in hospitals or institutions. Education that take place in other places than school most try to follow the same guidelines as his/hers usual school.  This applies to students in elementary school, compulsory school, special school, Sami school, secondary school and upper secondary school.Purpose:  The purpose of this study was to find out how three teachers at a hospital school plans their work with children in grade from 1 to 3, who suffer from cancer, especially brain tumor.  How can the teachers at the hospital school plan and organize their teaching so that it´s possible for the children whit brain tumor to feel as normal as possible. How does the common work between the consultant nurse, teachers at the hospitals and their ordinary school prevent the children to feel like an outsider?Method: I have chosen to do a qualitative study followed by three interviews whit three informants who works at a hospital school.

Title: Hymns - a way to simplicity and beauty. The purpose of this paper is to study what makes hymns appreciated. In a questionnaire, 42 individuals responded to questions concerning lyrics, music, the hymn as a whole, their personal relationship to hymns and their church commitment. They also stated their gender and age. My aim has been to discover whether there are similarities and differences in the given responses and to study the influence of church connections and gender.

Title: Organic / Synthetic in today's creative music making. This work intends to find out what synthetically versus organically produced music means for a songwriter / producer as well as for an artist in their everyday role of occupation. What are the positions regarding these two methods and how do they relate to these concepts? This study also concerns the general view of music produced with each one of these methods and to which extent there exists prejudice towards them. The method used for data collection is qualitative interviews.

Title: Participation and comradeship through artistic creation. This study is about a pedagogical development project carried out in sixth grade classes in order to get peace and order in the classroom and to improve the relationship between pupils. The research question is how the interaction in classroom can be described. The used research methods are observation, diary writing, photographing and questionnaires as well. From a hermeneutical inspired analysis interaction in classroom is in focus.

In the last couple of years changes in the legal systems treatment of young offenders has given the social worker more legal responsibility. In view of this, our purpose with this study was to examine how social workers and prosecutors apprehend the role of the social worker during the legal process. The study was delimited to look into the handling of young offenders between the ages of 15 and 18 years old. The questions we intended to look at were: How do the social workers reason when trying to see the need of a child within a legal context; Do prosecutors and social workers experience that they have different approaches when looking at young offenders, as a consequence of their different professions; What is the opinion among social workers considering the duty of the social services to administrate community service for young offenders; How do the social workers argue when determining whether or not a young offender has a "special need for care". These questions were answered through empirical studies where six social workers and two prosecutors were interviewed.
