The main issue of this master is to investigate what influence the phenomenon of postmodernity has on the Swedish public library. Is it possible to talk about the Swedish public library as postmodern, and if so, is it expressed by a postmodern discourse? The concept of postmodernity is defined as an open and inclusive value system where all kind of opinions and preferences take place. According to a postmodern point of view there is no such thing as an objective or general truth. A postmodern ideology does not talk about reality but about realities.

Concentration problems have been discussed from a variety of angles and have been problemized in different ways. One approach is to place the major part of the problem on the child independent of its environment. The terms used as an explanatory model are ?attention disorder, impulsiveness, difficulty at finding suitable activity levels, difficulty in understanding rules and instructions? (Kadesjö 2007). Others place the root of the problem in the environment prevalent at pre-school and school.

Följande uppsats baseras pÄ en fallstudie av Göteborgs SpÄrvÀgar, GS, som syftar till att utvÀrdera organisationens arbetsgivarvarumÀrke genom att jÀmföra ledningens uppfattning om organisationens attraktivitet som arbetsgivare med medarbetarnas upplevelse av sin ar-betssituation samt att identifiera omrÄden för utveckling. För att uppfylla syftet har utgÄngs-punkt tagits i tre forskningsfrÄgor; Hur uppfattar ledningen GS som arbetsgivare? Hur upple-ver medarbetarna sin arbetssituation och hur ser de pÄ GS som arbetsgivare? Och hur sam-stÀmmiga Àr ledningens och medarbetarnas uppfattningar om GS som arbetsgivare?Uppsatsens teoretiska referensram bestÄr av teorier och tidigare forskning med anknytning till, det för uppsatsen, centrala begreppet employer branding vilket handlar om arbetsgivares förmÄga att attrahera rÀtt medarbetare. MÄnga faktorer inverkar pÄ en organisations employer brand, arbetsgivarvarumÀrke, studien har dock avgrÀnsats till följande: Rykte, Psykologiska kontrakt, Ledarskap, MÄngfald, Kommunikation och Kompetensutveckling.Fallstudien bygger pÄ kvalitativa, semistrukturerade intervjuer med fem personer i GS kon-cernledning samt en befintlig medarbetarenkÀt som genomförts inom organisationen Är 2009. Intervjuguiden utarbetades med utgÄngspunkt i de frÄgeomrÄden som medarbetarenkÀten in-nehÄller, i syfte att kunna göra jÀmförelser mellan ledningens och medarbetarnas uppfattning-ar om GS som organisation och arbetsgivare.

Bakgrund: Med eskalerande miljöhot Àr det sjÀlvklart att alla ska bidra till ett vÀrnande om miljön och en hÄllbar utveckling.Företag kan, frivilligt, utföra hÄllbarhetsredovisningar för attlegitimera sig inför sina intressenter. Ett bestyrkande frÄnoberoende part gör hÄllbarhetsredovisningen, som liggerutanför traditionell redovisning, mer trovÀrdig.Syfte: Syftet med fallstudien Àr att, utifrÄn en grundmodell och enutvidgad modell inom hÄllbar utveckling granska tre företags hÄllbarhetsredovisningar, för att i analys och slutsats urskilja om hÄllbar utveckling kan uppnÄs genom hÄllbarhetsredovisningar.Metod: FallstudieResultat: Med lagar som grund i all redovisning, tillsammans mednormgivande riktlinjer som exempelvis GRI, toppat med företagens vilja att konkurrera och marknadsföra sig via redovisning av miljö- och socialt ansvar, kan resultatet bli att en uppstramning av lagen i nulÀget Àr onödig..

The purpose of this study has been to maintain a deeper understanding of how unestablished, professional musicians can get discovered by the music industry by communication, branding and positioning of their brand at social media.We found that fans have a greater impact on unestablished musicians than we previously thought. They have to create an identity for their brand, keep active on social media and engage their fans. Musical artists must maintain an ongoing dialogue to keep their fanbase, preferably with emotions involved. No fans equals minimum attention from the industry. Uniformity and professionalism is also important, because it evokes seriousness.

In this study we are focusing on Instagram and marketing. We want to know how Web 2.0 and social media creates a new place for companies to market themselves and mostly how they are using the social network Instagram. The amount of swedes using Instagram is 28% and that is the double of what it was a year ago. This creates a whole new place for companies to market themselves and most importantly; it?s free.Our question at issue is In what way is fashion and interior design companies using marketing and Web 2.0 on Instagram and how does it reach individuals? To get an answer we contacted eight different companies and asked if they would like to answer some questions.

This thesis addresses the library environment and how it affects the accessibility for the library users. A study is made of the public library in Eslöv. We wanted to find out how the library staff, the senior librarian and the architect discuss the library environment, considering:? The accessibility for the library users.? The possibility for the users to orientate themselves in the library.We also wanted to see how we as users experience the library environment and compare these experiences with the results from the interviews. The material used consists of qualitative interviews, observations of users and our own experience studies.

This Bachelor ?s thesis is about the conversations and meetings that take place in the mobile library. The research questions will try to answer: What do the staff talk about with each other, what conversations do the staff engage in with their users and what do the users talk about amongst themselves? The thesis main question is trying to answer of what is characteristic for the mobile library ?s conversations and meetings. Is the mobile library as a meetingplace any different in comparison with the city library? Focus lies on the eveningtours of the mobile library and excludes those tours that service schools and learning-centers.

The aim with this report is to investigate what influence the way playgrounds are used throw the case study in VÀnersborg, and also to find methods for municipalities to collect information about how playgrounds are used. The methods were observations, interviews with parents and children, a questionary with questions about what playgrounds they used, how often and why they used them and what the children used to do there. There was also a demographic investigation and documentary research. The most popular playground, SkrÀcklan, gets visitors from all parts of the municipality. It is located in a park with a view over the lake VÀnern, there is a parking place and a café and it has furthermore a large area and many play equipments. Many of the families make shorter trips and picnics to this place. In exception of this playground, the families almost always go to the playground in their neighborhood and their part of the town.
