An increasing number of peole are resisting the attraction of living around nature and opting instead to spend their lives in cities. Parks and green areas play an important part in our well-being and we become fascinated with the diversity of nature, in which we find a peacefulness that is unique. Amongst other things, being surrounded by nature can reduce high blood presure, lower the production of stress hormones and stimulate the mind and our ability to concentrate. It is therefore vitally important to entice city residents to parks and green areas to improve their physical and mental well-being. Previous research has shown that humans are seeking for certain characteristics in the parks and green areas which they are visiting.

Detta magisterarbete fokuserar på kravhantering i systemutvecklingsprocessen. Mer specifikt handlar det om uppdatering av kravspecifikationen då nya krav tillkommer. Detta är en aktivitet som ofta förbises och jag har velat se varför samt vilka konsekvenser det kan leda till. Det referensföretag där undersökningen utfördes är ITT Flygt i Emmaboda och Solna, som har intern utveckling av system för sin verksamhet. Tillvägagångssättet i undersökningen har främst varit intervjuer, men även studier av de dokument som finns i verksamheten.

This thesis aims to examine the conditions for entrepreneurship in Taiwan by the occurrence of cultural phenomenon guanxi. Based on the concept of familiness and guanxi, the family is central in this study of family business. Traditional descriptions of the Asian culture claim that guanxi is vital in the business context. Though, recent studies indicate that significance of guanxi seems to be changing. Therefore the purpose of this thesis is to create an understanding of the importance and relevance of guanxi in the context of Taiwanese family business.By travelling to Kaohsiung, Taiwan to interview six managers of Taiwanese family firms this study?s empirical material was gathered for further processing based on a qualitative approach.

Samarbetet mellan IASB och FASB med att ta fram en enhetlig redovisningsstandard för företagsförvärv har pågått några år. Den andra fasen av samarbetet har resulterat i förslaget Business Combinations fas II. I denna undersökning tas fasta på de mest omdiskuterade förändringarna som förslaget medför jämfört med nuvarande IFRS 3 Business Combinations. Studien belyser förändringarnas påverkan på balans- och resultatrapporten och huruvida de finansiella rapporterna kommer att ge bättre information till intressenterna tack vare förslaget. En av de mest diskuterade förändringarna i förslaget är tillämpningen av full goodwillredovisning, som blir resultatet av att ett striktare enhetsperspektiv anläggs.

Addressing increasing global environmental problems requires greater resource efficiency, and one way of working towards this is through industrial symbiosis. Industrial symbiosis means that companies collaborate through sharing of resources for collective benefits. The documented benefits of working with industrial symbiosis indicate that there is potential for companies to operate commercially with facilitation of industrial symbiosis. An interesting company to study within this context is Econova. Econova operates within the recycling and gardening industry and has been identified as a possible catalyst for industrial symbiosis.

SammanfattningDet här arbetet bygger på en inventering av Stadsträdgården/Boulognerskogen i Gävle, sett ur folkhälsosynpunkt, där syftet har varit att hitta och identifiera de åtta strukturella kvaliteter; egenskaper i uppbyggnaden, som behövs i en hälsofrämjande park. Utifrån ett formulär från Statens Folkhälsoinstitut har frågor angående grönområdets allmänna karaktärer (naturtyp, upplevelsekvaliteter) och särskilda karaktärer (tillgänglighet, trygghet, anpassningar) besvarats, utvärderats och sammanställts för att kunna svara på om parkens innehåll uppfyller de kriterier som förväntas av ett hälsofrämjande grönområde . I inventeringen har hänsyn tagits till följande målgrupper barn/ungdom, äldre, personer med funktionsnedsättning, övriga samhällsgrupper.För att kunna förstå stadsparkernas utvecklingsfaser i Sverige har en litteraturstudie gjorts om stadsparkers historia. En litteraturstudie har även gjorts inom ämnet miljöpsykologi och hälsa för att få en förståelse kring hur naturen påverkar och uppfattas av människor ur folkhälsosynpunkt.Stadsträdgården och Boulognerskogen har varit en plats för rekreation för Gävleborna sedan långt tillbaka och är det än idag. Parkens utseende och närområdet har förändrats en del under åren och det har fört med sig att även parkens hälsofrämjande kvaliteter förändrats.

Historiska stadsbyggnadsstrategier med fokus på hållbarhet eller grönska utgör utgångspunkten för framtagandet av en ny stadsbyggnadsstrategi som ska vara hållbar ur alla aspekter; både ur ett socialt, ekologiskt och ekonomiskt perspektiv. I kandidatuppsatsen undersöks möjligheterna att fortsätta förtäta staden och samtidigt behålla stadens parker och grönska. Internet dating is a relatively new phenomenon that, in using the opportunities of the internet, has taken traditional dating to a new level. The business idea is simple as such. The company provides its customers with a platform that enables interaction, leaving the value creation to the customers. A qualitative study is conducted investigating and mapping the Swedish market for Internet dating. It is researched what the characteristics of the companies are, what the Internet dating businesses in Sweden offer, what the prevailing market conditions are, and lastly what challenges lie ahead for the industry and how they can be solved.

Objective To study if the Swedish venture capitalists consider business plans in their screening process, and in such case, what aspects they evaluate in order to develop a targeted template for Swedish entrepreneurs. A secondary objective is to describe what other factors Swedish venture capitalists evaluate as a part of their assessment. Methodology The method, which has been used in order to test the objective, has been carried out through extensive literature and article studies, interviews, and distribution of a short and comprehensive questionnaire to a multiplicity of venture capitalists throughout Sweden. Conclusion Generally, the findings of this thesis suggest that a business plan should include elements such as a summary of important elements, a thorough market analysis, financial information, exit strategy, and the risks associated with the project. The empirical material also reveals that venture capitalists also evaluate factors such as ownership influence, the entrepreneur?s industry knowledge, product knowledge and the personal chemistry in their evaluation process.

10 years ago the School Library Forum´s core activity started; the development of model libraries. Since then, no comprehensive study of the School Library Forum has been made. How does the organization actually work and how do professionals perceive the changes of the organization? Against this background, the purpose of my essay is to examine the activity of the organization School Library Forum with a focus on organization and learning from the viewpoint of the learning organization. The following issues have been helpful to meet the purpose of the study:? How do the business developer, the principals and the school librarians experience the collaboration on the school-libraries model-library activity?? How does the collaboration contribute to learning within the organization according to the business developer, the principals and the school librarians?? How do the business developer, the principals and the school librarians perceive the changes in the School Library Forum´s organization, seen from the perspective of the learning organization?By conducting five interviews with stakeholders in various positions within the organization, such as business developer, principals and school librarians, a deeper insight into how respondents perceive the business from the perspective of the learning organization is obtained.

Dock ser vi att det saknas forskning kring hur dessa kan kombineras och hur processen kring detta ser ut. Syfte Syftet med denna rapport är att få en fördjupad förståelse kring utvecklingsprocessen för ett projektutvecklingsbolag inom boende, vilket vill skapa förutsättningar för att använda service som en del i ett boendekoncept kring en viss livsstil. Metod Vi har tillämpat en deduktiv samt kvalitativ metod för insamlandet av vår empiri. Vi har använt oss av ett fallstudieobjekt, livsstilsboendet Victoria Park, där vi har gjort åtta intervjuer.

Både storbanker och statliga myndigheter har valt att göra omlokaliseringar av sina verksamheter i Stockholmsområdet. Dessa aktörer har länge haft sina huvudkontor inom Stockholm Central Business District (CBD), men kommer från och med årsskiftet 2013/2014 att samla hela eller delar av sina verksamheter utanför området. Under de kommande fyra åren blir över 210 000 kvadratmeter kontorslokaler lediga, vilket både skapar utmaningar och möjligheter för de berörda fastighetsägarna.Den här studien har tre viktiga utgångspunkter: Faktorerna bakom flytt för banker och myndigheter, hur Stockholms kontorsmarknad kommer att ändras i fortsättningen och på vilket sätt Stockholms CBD utvecklas när de vakanta kontorslokalerna byggs om.De bakomliggande resonemangen kring besluten om att flytta från området skiljer sig väsentligt åt mellan de intervjuade aktörerna. Den främsta anledningen till att myndigheterna samlar olika verksamhetsdelar i Solna respektive Telefonplan är ekonomiska besparingar. Bankernas främsta anledning är att koncentrera sina verksamheter inom ett geografiskt område.
