This bachelor thesis project has been executed at Outotec Sweden AB in Skellefteå. Outotecs main business focus is selling mineral and metal processing technologies. A rest product from the metal process is particle-polluted gas and cyclone designs are today the most commonly used abatement device for particle control. A cyclone provides a simple design with high efficiency particle percolation by using air streams.The purpose of this work is to reduce the time it takes create new cyclone designs in Outotecs projects. An extensive construction work is needed for every new cyclone order due to new designs.

The aim of the study was to show whether or not there exists, and if so, to understand, a common creativity, vision and imagination of the members of Småland?s Entrepreneurial Academy?s organisation.The method used for this research is the fictive narrative collage , which consists of the collection of fictive stories. The author has also made her own additions to the method. A composer composes songs to the narratives, two artists illustrate the narratives. The research is carried out on the total population within Småland?s Entrepreneurial Academy which consists of 10 permanent members of the organisation.The theory focuses on different areas, such as creativity, vision and imagination as well as on the entrepreneur and the organisation.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att införa 3D-CAD och optimera konstruktionsprocessen på Svalson AB. Vi har skapat CAD-modeller för två av företagets produkter, modeller som automatiserats genom makrostyrning och gjorts lättare att modifiera med hjälp av parameterisering. För att uppnå en optimering av konstruktionsprocessen och vinna framförallt tid har makrostyrning och parameterisering av modellerna använts. Arbetet har resulterat i CAD-modeller av två produkter varav den första helt styrs med ett av oss egenutvecklat makro som kan användas utan någon som helst CAD-kunskap. Detta frigör viktig tid för konstruktören då säljaren själv kan skapa en komplett CAD-modell som underlag för produktion.

Title: The lost song. A study of a reconstruction process. I was asked by the daughter of the Swedish composer Svea Welander (1898 1985) for help to reconstruct a now lost song for voice and piano originally composed by her mother, where the melody of the song was used in the second movement of her first string quartett. The song was composed in 1955, words by Wilhelm Ekelund. My aim has been to describe the process of reconstructing the song.

Examensarbetet har bestått i att konstruera en maskin åt SKF i Göteborg. Med hjälp av laserteknik skall artikelnummer och företagslogga brännas in på rullagers ytterring. Märkningen sker med hjälp av en laserenhet som levereras av ett företag som heter Servus. KSG i Surte AB står som maskinleverantör och konstruerar övrig mekanik som krävs för att maskinen skall fungera. Rullagret transporteras in i maskinen via en rullbana.

Erigovis AB i Örnsköldsvik är ett ingenjörsföretag som har patent på en vinsch som de har utvecklat under arbetet att revolutionera byggnationen av vindkraftverk. Med vinschens unika egenskaper är nu Erigovis AB intresserad av att veta om den kan appliceras i fler användningsområden i dagens samhälle. Syftet med det här projektet har varit att ta fram idéer på nya användningsområden samt utformning för en ny, anpassad kranarm. I teorin presenteras alla formler som används vid beräkningar i senare delar i rapporten samt information om de områden som berörts. Inledande delen av projektet innebar att få fram så många idéer som möjligt och därför blev de första veckorna en ren konceptgenereringsperiod.

I detta kandidatarbete skapas en animation för att visualisera användarinstruktioner för en balpress. Förberedelser utförs i 3D-CADprogramvaran Geomagic Design 2014 innan arbetet med animeringen påbörjas i programmet SimLab Composer Animation. I förberedelserna rensas modellerna och modifieras. Modeller som saknas skapas. I detta förslag på visualisering av ett moment i användning av balpressen är i syfte att underlätta för brukaren hur den snabbt kan använda maskinen.

This report will outline a proposal for the improvement of the baggage sorting facility at Arlanda airport. Swedavia is a state owned company group that operates, owns and develops airports in Sweden. One of their main roles is to create accessibility needed to facilitate and streamline the work at the airport.Swedavia is constantly working to develop new solutions and enhancements that will help to standardize and automate the work at airports without major impact on climate and above all adapt these solutions to work.The project has been aimed to identify and isolate the problem at the check-in counter, investigate the possibility of setting a speed control on the DC motor driving the luggage conveyer belt at the check-in desk so that the luggage does not lose tracking already there, as well as evaluate the new sorting systems planned to be introduce in the upcoming refurbishment of the sorting area.To determine the parameters that are used to regulate the speed of the baggage conveyor belt, information about the inputs and outputs that participated in the process was gathered. Information was collected both practically and theoretically. Process was followed and monitored by the supervisor of the company, and a theoretical study was done separately on my own.

This research explains and describes the role music notations may play in an unconventional way. The aim of this research is to show that by balancing composition, interpretation and improvisation, the performer(s) could produce or open the door to a reservoir of new sounds, which could emerge through a composer?s awareness of the need to balance these elements. That act of balancing depends on the musician?s interpretation through their interaction with the music notation, with their action process on the instrument and each other.
