Nordsken är en spelfestival vars mål är att visa upp spel- och nördhobbyn för allmänheten. Besökare erbjuds turneringar och prova-på i en mängd olika dator- samt bordsspel. Utöver spel bjuder Nordsken in olika föreningar, företag och föreläsare som berättar om och visar upp det bästa från spel- och nördhobbyn. Nordsken 2013 samlade 600 deltagare och drygt 1500 dagsbesökare under tre dagar för att spela spel och umgås med likasinnade.Som ansvariga för Nordskens nätverk hade vi som uppgift att sätta upp, konfigurera och övervaka nätverket under hela evenemanget samt agera support vid behov.Inför Nordsken gjordes en planering som innehöll genomgång av gammal dokumentation, inköp av server, hyra av switchar samt utplacering av dessa enheter i lokalen. Efter att vi skapat en logisk topologi för nätverket började vi konfigurera switcharna, accesspunkterna och servrarna.Nätverket delades upp i tre lager, core, distribution och access, där switcharna inom varje lager konfigurerades beroende på dess placering och koppling.

Location-based planning technique simplifies scheduling by visualizing the schedule efficiently and has many advantages such as might shortened the project period by about 10 - 20 % if the company uses location-based technology, reducing risks in many ways by maintaining production continuity and identify collisions between things etc. Vico Office Software has been used for Location based planning technique and in this thesis.The purpose of this thesis work was to demonstrate how location -based planning technology change the scheduling stage in Peab, potentially reducing the project time.

In 2009 The National Land Survey of Sweden, Lantmäteriet, commenced a project intended to provide a new digital elevation model (DEM) of Sweden. The method chosen for the project was airborne laser scanning (ALS). In addition to information about the land surface the project will also provide information about the forest, this as a by-product. This data can be used to estimate forest variables such as height and volume. The estimates are often more reliable than what is standard today. This study is based on interviews with employees and members of the forest owner association Södra in southern Sweden.

Vid objektorienterad systemutveckling är det viktigt att man genomför en analys- och designfas, dels för att man inom ett utvecklingsteam lättare ska kunna visualisera hur ett system är tänkt att bli och dels för att kunna fånga och åskådliggöra kundens krav. Till sin hjälp i dessa faser har man metoder/processer och modelleringsspråk. Varje företag har i regel haft sin egen variant av ovan nämnda, men allteftersom kom kravet på en gemensam standard att bli oundvikligt. Sedan ett antal år tillbaka finns nu en standard. För att effektivisera användningen av GIS (Geografiska Informationssystem) kan distribuerade geografiska informationssystem nyttjas. En sådan distribution åstadkoms ofta genom att en GIS-applikation med enkel funktionalitet publiceras åtkomlig för användare anslutna till ett nätverk, intranät eller Internet. Då fler och fler får tillgång till GIS ökar behovet av att kunna konvertera mellan olika format och mellan olika koordinatsystem. Även här finns krav på effektiviserad och förenklad användning. För att bibehålla datakvaliteten krävs att de verktyg som används, genomför korrekta transformationer och konverteringar samt att de är användarvänliga.

Den digitala utvecklingen både i samhället i stort och inom utbildning accelererar som aldrig förr. Många ungdomar idag har tillgång till digitala verktyg så som dator, mobiltelefon, surfplatta mm. Ett urval av matematiklärare på gymnasienivå fick i en webb-survey rangordna vilken kunskapsnivå de anser sig ha med avseende tre huvudområdena som beskrivs av ramverket Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK): teknik, pedagogik, ämnesinnehåll och kombinationer av dessa. Resultaten visar att lärarna anser sig ha en hög kunskapsnivå med avseende på pedagogik och ämnesinnehåll samt kombinationen av dessa men att kunskapsnivån ligger lägre när det gäller teknik och då framförallt den rent tekniska biten (t.ex.
