Att motivera elever

Middle managers in social care find themselves in a middle position. The middle management position involves demands from several interested parties. The demands affect and generate feelings both within themselves and within others and the middle managers have to deal with them all.The aim of this study was to investigate the social care middle manager?s personal experiences of emotions in work.We have completed interviews with four middle managers who are assigned to carry out social care. When doing the interviews we used an interview guide divided into different interview areas.

Sömnskolans betydelse för personer med insomni ? en intervjustudie

Introduction: Sleep is necessary for human survival. Difficulty sleeping occurs in about one in four adult person in Sweden, insomnia in every ten. There are several reasons for difficulty sleeping, where stress is one of the most common. The quality of life and health are affected negatively. Treatment with proven efficacy against insomnia is not only sleep medication, but also cognitive behavioral therapy, CBT.

En fungerande eller bristande samverkan? : -En kvalitativ undersökning om samverkan mellan skola och socialtjänst

AbstractThe aim with this study was to enhance the understanding of the interaction between schools and social services. The study would also contribute to better understanding of what is considered work and burst in the interaction between the two, and examine the underlying factors for this. The study's approach includes semi-structured interviews with three employees of a school and two employees in the social services of the municipality. Both international and national research has been obtained for the study and theories as well, associated with the outcome. Conclusions of this study point to the existence of different opinions between the organizations in terms of the quality of their collaboration.

Simundervisning för praktiserande muslimska flickor : Hur olika sociala aktörer upplever att simundervisningen genomförs i den svenska skolan

Since Sweden can be considered to be a secular society it is interesting to investigate how different actors experience swimming education in the course syllabus of sports and health education, for practicing Muslim girls in middle and high schools. The investigation is based on qualitative interviews with sports teachers, practicing Muslim girls and the staff of the public swimming center in Växjö. The result shows that swimming education can be somewhat problematic, since the Muslim girls only want to attend lessons that are gender separated. In the public swimming center, there are no pools exclusively intended for women, and there are only a few times available for women every week. However, the teachers stress opportunities instead of obstacles, and the students? experience that their teachers are trying to create possibilities for them to have a gender separated swimming education.

The aim of the essay was to see how the respondents reasoned about different themes like, isolation, integration and barriers to integration, given that they had all been diagnosed with a psychosis diagnosis. The essay takes part of secondary data that had been gathered through interviews by researchers at the department of Research and Development Psychiatric South Stockholm during a 3 year period. To work with the interview data a qualitative interview analysis method was used. The interviews were analyzed against theories of social interaction, labeling, stigma and the theory of ?role exit?.

This essay examines upper secondary school pupils as well as the Swedish National Agency for Educations views on the education in subject of religion. How they describe its purpose, what content the topic should address, how the education should be implemented and what influence the pupils should have over their own studies. AbstractThe purpose of my study is to find out how students who are going to special school feel about going to that type of school compared to going to the regular school. I also want to know what they know about integration and a school for all, if they even know about the research that has been done and still is being done. I chose to interview two students to find out what they think about the subject. The two students go to different programs of special school in high school. I chose the method of interviewing because I wanted to get a vivid conversation and to be able to do follow-up questions.

This essay analyses the existence of a literary tendency in Sweden the last decade, which shares many similarities with magical realism. This study hopes to provide a deeper understanding for the situation that pupils in dyslexia and special education teachers are experiencing. The aim is to examine how students with dyslexia and special education teacher / special needs education teacher are experiencing difficulties, resources, additional adjustments and support. The aim is also to examine the experience in opportunities for improvement and what similarities and differences exist between students and special education teacher / special needs education teacher regarding the allocation of resources. The study is made with focusing on a certain dilemma perspective, using methods such as interviews. The results of the study point to lack of time, time pressure, teachers 'skills, management directives and students' understanding of their own learning as factors affecting resource allocation, in which all factors influence each other and are interdependent of each other..

The purpose of our study is to find out how teachers can help their students to learn how to managestage fright. By interviewing high school teachers and high school students and also observe one oftheir classes, we wanted to find out how they think about the causes of stage fright and what youcan do to relieve it. We also wanted to find out how teachers are working to teach students how todeal with stage fright, and how they think that you also could work. As a teacher of music, among other things, the task is to assess and rate the students performancesin music. Several components are based on the students' courage to play on his or her instrument infront of other people.

Olika kommuner: olika eftervård? En jämförande studie av hur tre kommuner definierar och arbetar med eftervård efter LVM.

Aftercare is an important condition for the Care of Alcoholics and Drug Abuse Act (LVM) to be successful. According to the law, the municipals are responsible for the aftercare. We compared how three municipal in Skåne, Sweden, define and work with the aftercare after treatment under LVM. The study was based on nine qualitative interviews with social workers, division managers and politicians from each municipal. As a theoretical reference the theory of total institutions and empowerment theory were used.

This thesis deals with the leisure-time reading of fourteen men with two different occupations, teachers of technology and directors of companies. The main reasons for writing the thesis are that very little is written about mens reading habits and also statistics that tell that mens reading decline regardless of educational level. The purpose has been to compare the reading and relations to literature between the two groups of men and to find out if any differences have to do with factors such as social background or age. The questions we have asked our collected data has been what, how and why the men read. We have tried not to investigate the work-related reading although we are aware of the difficulty in separating this from the leisure-time reading.

Projekthanteringssystem

This document is a summary of my work to create a project management system for a small firm working with computer graphics. The intention is to manage customers, projects, images and invoices in the easiest possible way. To make the system as flexible as possible a web-interface was chosen which makes it possible to access the system from any computer, making it independent of any particular operating system. The only requirement on the user environment is that the computer must have a connection to the Internet to be able to access the system. The different techniques that have been used to develop the project management system is primarily Ruby on Rails and a MySQL database. Although Ruby on Rails was completely new to me, I decided to use this framework instead of PHP, which I already have a good knowledge of, because of the benefits Ruby on Rails provide.
