Corporate Social Responsibility is a concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns into their core business and in their interaction with stakeholders on a voluntarily basis. The purpose with our thesis is to study how Swedish insurance companies work with Corporate Social Responsibility and to analyse the underlying strategies of the companies? social, environmental and economical activities. We will analyse where, how and for whom value can be created with CSR. Where does the value creation take place, how can it be created through these activities and who will benefit from Corporate Social Responsibility? Theories point out that companies need to assemble and value the total package of benefits to be able to create successful corporate initiatives.

Denna uppsats handlar om blyga barn i förskolans verksamhet. Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur det blyga barnet tar sig fram i den pedagogiska miljön i förskolans verksamhet, samt hur det blyga barnet bemöts i den pedagogiska miljön. Undersökningen har genomförts på sex olika förskolor. Åtta olika pedagoger har intervjuats med en kvalitativ intervjuform kring deras erfarenhet och syn på blyga barn i sin verksamhet. Resultatet visar att de blyga barnen klarar av de situationer som de känner sig trygga i.

The social media arena is rapidly growing and more and moreorganisations take part in the daily ongoing conversations indifferent social media channels. Conversations are being heldacross borders on every available topic and ratings and reviews ofconsumer products and services is one of them. This focus onglobalisation is also the reality of the hospitality- and tourismindustry. Their customers travel across borders and are eager,given the opportunity, to share their experiences with each other.As organisations within the hospitality- and tourism industry meetthese demands in terms of providing technological infrastructurefor information sharing and involve themselves in theseconversations there are some issues that need to be addressed.What does the logic of social media look like? How iscommunicating in social media any different from traditionalmarket communication? And how can hospitality- and tourismorganisations adapt their communication to fit into the logic ofsocial media?To conclude how organisations within the hospitality- and tourismindustry can benefit from the use of social media, I haveinterviewed representatives from a number of organisations andstudied their communication.

Det blir allt mer vanligt att organisationer och företag involverar de anställda när en verksamhet ska förbättras och utvecklas. I ett ?expansivt lärande?-perspektiv kan verksamheten - genom den kollektivt samlade kunskapen - finna nya lärande- och utvecklingsmöjligheter. Hälso- och sjukvården är inget undantag och ett område som blivit mer uppmärksammat de sista decennierna är sårvården. Syftet med min studie har därför varit att studera de lärande- och utvecklingsmöjligheter som kan uppstå inom distriktssköterskans verksamhet med fokus på sårvård.

The purpose of this qualitative sociological law study is to examine the relationship between the social services and civil court to apprehend if knowledge about the child's best interest is transfered from social workers to the legal system. This have been done by investigating civil court cases concerning custody transition from biological parents to foster parents according to 6 chapter 8 paragraph in the law of parenting, built upon the legal principle of the best interests of the child. Eight cases has been examined by using a method of qualitative text analysis and categorised into five primary categories and three concepts linked to sections of the law. The material has been analysed through a sociological law perspective, social constructionist theory and attachment theory. The study shows that a variety of factors interacts when it comes to determining what?s in the best interest of the child .

Den tekniska utvecklingen har gått fort det senaste årtiondet och informationshantering har fått en helt förändrad innebörd i dagens moderna organisationer. De organisationer som inte är beredda att följa denna utveckling löper stor risk att hamna efter eller förlora konkurrenskraft till andra aktörer på marknaden. Genom investeringar i nya informationssystem och ny informationsteknologi skaffar sig organisationen verktyg att använda till att effektivisera och rationalisera sin verksamhet. Sådana investeringar är dock förenade med höga risker och raden av företag som genomfört misslyckade implementeringsförsök är lång. Flera faktorer avgör hur ett företag lyckas tillämpa informationssystem och informationsteknologi som resurser och utnyttja dessa på ett lönsamt sätt.

Denna uppsats behandlar företags ansvar och samarbeten för ?Corporate Social Responsibility? (CSR) mellan frivilligorganisationer och företag. Arbetet är en fallstudie utförd i Argentina med syftet att studera frivilligorganisationers syn på företags ansvar. Syftet är även att undersöka om ett samarbete skulle kunna innebära att ett företags CSR-arbete stärks. Metodvalet för studien är semi-strukturerade intervjuer med representanter för NGO:s i Argentina som arbetar med CSR.

För att kunna besvara våra frågor har vi med hjälp av tidigare forskning fått fram att yrkesrollen har varit svårdefinierad och att genom åren har uppdraget förändrats. Fritidshemmet är en pedagogisk verksamhet som ska vara ett komplement till skolans arbete. Studien har gjorts på två fritidshem varav ett av fritidshemmen ligger i en by och den andra i en storstad. Vi har arbetat utifrån kvalitativ metod och har valt att arbeta med intervjuer och observationer för att kunna slutföra vår studie. För att besvara vår första frågeställning om fritidshemmet som plats har vi använt oss av observationer.

The aim of the study was to get a deeper understanding of how social workers at the welfare office think and act when it comes to methadone or buprenorphine treatment. What role does the welfare office take when it comes to methadone- or buprenorphine treatment, what does the welfare office think about this form of treatment, what possibilities does the welfare office have when it comes to decide the selection to this kind of treatment and what consideration does the welfare office take to the separate individuals demands when it comes to methadone- or buprenorphine treatment. The study is done in the perspective of society as a social construction. The method that was used was qualitative interviews with professionals at the welfare office and professionals at the reception of methadone- and buprenorphine treatment. The result of the study is that the attitude towards methadone- and buprenorphine treatment is complicated and the opinions are partly divided..

Because social media is personal and reaches users directly, it has become an important means of communication for companies trying to reach out to their audience (Nygren & Wadbring, 2013). Especially the possibility of interactivity has been discussed as social media's big advantage. But how much two-way communication is actually possible on social media? This is a quantitative study that focuses on how Swedish Facebook users in the ages of 16-25 interact with companies on the social network. The aim was to contribute with increased information and knowledge about how the users mentioned above interact with the companies as well as how the users perceive the companies communication and presence on Facebook.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the levels of social distance used by the librarians and users in the virtual reference interview. With a conversational analysis and applied politeness theory 49 chat transcripts where analysed in order to answer the question of how the interlocutors positioned themselves regarding the social distance between them. By identifying what communicative strategies where used the following results were found. Generally the social distance between librarians and users is low in the Swedish virtual reference interview. Even though both parties used informal and casual language the results indicate that the librarians face wants were valued slightly higher than the users which were illustrated by a some what higher social distance in the stages of the conversations when the librarians face was under most threat.

AbstractObstacles or opportunities? ? A study of the experience of collaboration of social welfare secretaries and school staff.The purpose of this study is to illustrate the importance of the work with children and youth through the joint efforts between different authorities. The study deals with the collaboration between the social services and schools in the Ludvika municipality. The objective of the study is to investigate how teaching personnel and headmasters in compulsory schools and the social welfare secretaries in Ludvika, experience the collaboration, and how this works. On the basis of the objective, we have formulated some relevant questions; To what degree are schools aware of the model of collaboration, which is the basis for collaboration within the municipality, and are there any differences in awareness between different categories of employees? Other questions deal with differences in how the social services and schools experience the collaboration, discrepancies between different schools in this regard and if the respondents? experience any obstacles and/or opportunities by the collaboration.Collaboration is, and has been, a pressing issue for a long time in the public debate.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to examine the function of public libraries on the social web, focusing on reading promotion and reading stimulation. For an understanding of the larger context regarding public libraries on the social web, we conducted online interviews via email with people in the Swedish library profession, together with a content analysis of various texts on the subject found in library journals and on the Internet. Furthermore to identify the public library's practice on reading promotion and reading stimulation on the social web, we did interviews with librarians at a public library on their use of a blog for this purpose, together with a questionnaire handed out to the library's users on their use and conceptions of the blog.The conceptual framework of this study consists of four key aspects in the theoretical and empirical definition of Library 2.0 presented by Holmberg, Huvila and Widén-Wulff. The results showed that the public library can create a substantial value through its use of the social web, but it?s necessary to have a clear vision of the desired outcome.

Estetiska inslag är något som elever möter i sitt dagliga liv genom bland annat teve, musik och reklambilder. Elever intresserar sig i musik, teater och dans med mera och detta kan vara en stor del av deras liv. Frågan är hur verksamma lärare förhåller sig till och arbetar med estetisk verksamhet, med tanke på att en stor del av barn och ungdomars tid tillbringas i skolan. Detta arbete är av didaktisk karaktär eftersom det behandlar hur lärare tänker och handlar i sin undervisning. Arbetet handlar om estetisk verksamhet, där vi innefattar formerna bild, musik, drama och rörelse, och hur dessa kan användas i skolans arbete av lärare.
