The purpose of this essay is to examine trust, or lack of trust, in the social services. Previous research considering this topic is limited, which, in our point of view, implies the need of further studies. A quantative method was used, consisting of an online questionnaire containing statements about the social services. The statements were designed using a five level Likert-scale which required the respondent to rate their level of agreement. The questionnaire was published on five webcommunities directed to parents.

SammanfattningSkolan är alltid under förändring och utveckling och ständigt debatterad. De allra flesta har en åsikt om skolan och eftersom den är en viktig samhällsinstitution får den utstå mycket kritik. Som lärarstudenter har vi under vår utbildning följt diskussionen om skolan och vill nu ta en närmare titt på debatten, som vi upplever som mycket onyanserad.Vi har genomfört en artikelstudie av Dagens Nyheters rapportering av skolan under 2004 och 2007. Vår uppsats grundar sig i ett hermeneutiskt perspektiv och vi har använt vågrät textanalys som metod för materialbearbetning. Vårt fokus har legat på följande fyra teman: Skolans uppdrag/ansvar/uppgift/roll, Kursplan/läroplan/mål, Begreppet kunskap och Den allmänna bilden av skolan.

Handledare: Ingrid Sandén Examinator: Lotta Anderson Bakgrund: I dagens samhälle är förväntningarna högt ställda på oss i yrkeslivet, i familjelivet och i många andra sociala sammanhang. Egenskaper som ?utåtriktad?, ?verbal? och ?social? betraktas som livsviktiga färdigheter. Hur bör skolan förhålla sig till de elever som saknar dessa färdigheter? Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att i rollen som specialpedagog undersöka och beskriva de uppfattningar ett antal pedagoger ur ett arbetslag har beträffande två elever med inagerande beteende samt att belysa ett för pedagogen tänkbart förhållningssätt till inagerande elever.

Syftet med mitt arbete är att undersöka förekomsten av mobbning och utfrysning på min partnerskola. Jag har valt att ta reda på detta genom en enkätundersökning med de elever som går i årskurs 7-9, då det är dessa årskurser som jag själv kommer att arbeta med i framtiden och eftersom det finns ett antimobbningsteam på skolan knutet till dessa årskurser. Totalt rör det sig om 78 elever som har deltagit i denna enkätundersökning. Den frågeställning som jag vill ha svar på är: - I vilken mån förekommer mobbning och utfrysning på den undersökta skolan? - Hur arbetar man aktivt för att förebygga mobbning och utfrysning på den undersökta skolan? - På vilket sätt bemöter lärare och elever varandra på skolan? Den mobbning och kränkning som förekommer kommer tydligt att presenteras i tabeller samt att ställas i paritet till de föreskrifter som finns att rätta sig efter i Lpo 94.

Det här arbetet undersöker lärares och skollednings syn på 1:1 på en gymnasieskola i Sverige. 1:1 innebär att varje elev på skolan får tillgång till sin egen personliga dator. Arbetet försöker besvara frågan om hur skolan har påverkats av 1:1. Arbetet är gjort genom kvalitativa intervjuer med lärare och skolledning på skolan. Förutom det har jag använt mig av litteratur och aktuell forskning för att besvara frågeställningarna. Det som har framkommit genom arbetets gång är att det finns ett behov av kompetensutveckling och gemensamma policys kring datoranvändning för att implementeringen av 1:1 ska vara framgångsrik. Det som upplevs som negativt med 1:1 är att eleverna tappar fokus när de får tillgång till en dator.

The purpose of this paper was to examine social workers' experiences of integration of unaccompanied children. We aimed to study which factors in the individual and the community social workers experience affect the integration and how they, based on their understanding, work to promote integration. The essay has a phenomenological approach and focuses on the social workers' own experiences of the phenomenon. The empirical data was obtained from qualitative interviews conducted with five social workers, all administrators in cases involving unaccompanied children. The result shows that the social workers feel that the desire to integrate is the most important presumption that must be present in the unaccompanied children.

What Places Adolescents and Adults, Respectively, in Need of Social Assistance? A Qualitative Study of How Social Workers Whom Administrate Financial Assistance for Adolescents and Adults, Respectively, Describe Reasons Behind the Need of Social Assistance Amongst Their ClientsThe purpose of this essay was to study and compare how social workers whom administrate social assistance for adolescents and adults, respectively, describe reasons behind the need of social assistance amongst their clients. This was done due to the use of qualitative interviews with a total of six social workers. Of these six, three administrated social assistance for adolescents while the other three did the same for adults. Prior research of poverty attribution greatly inspired this essay.

The purpose with this essay was to study how the social work is shaped in the methadone programme and how the staffs treat and work with the social integration for the patients.We have studied the experience of a medical assisted treatment from two different treatment clinics and focused on their treatment programme. We have chosen to focus on the social aspect but we have also been taking part of the medical treatment - the methadone. In order to get a bigger picture of our problem area we also studied how Sweden's narcotic politic is constructed and how a narcotic life could look like before the entrance in the program. This thesis is a study of social movements and their possibilities to effect politics by infuencing values in society through framing. I've looked upon social movements from a functionalistic-structuralistic perspective, as if they were carriers of values from people that otherwise won't be represented in the political life. The values that the social movements are struggling for can affect both the opinion and the decision-makers since the social movements in an active way are trying ti influence the society. The thesis examines the political opportunities that social movements hav to mobilise and grow. I have looked at different factors that either improve or make the political opportunities worse.

The purpose of this paper was to discuss stigma and stigmatisation in relation to social policy and social work. By discussing welfare systems in social policy I wanted to see if there could be any connection between social policy and stigma. I used case studies of hearing impaired adults to give examples of how the stigma processes work. By connecting the stigma and the social policy theories with the case studies I wanted to see how the social policy could affect the stigma processes or vice versa.In the paper the concept of stigma has been described and discussed, foremost using the theories of Erving Goffman. I have also discussed the welfare system and the connection between residual systems and stigma.

Corporate Social Responsiblity is today a well known concept in the business world. The concept contains responsibility and sustainability for those who chose to work with Corporate Social Responsibility and the three responsibility areas within the concept. Responsibility and sustainability is of importance, no matter what core business a corporation has. The responsibility goes both out from the corporation, to take care of the surrounding society and the environment. The responsibility also concerns the corporation interal, aiming for a sustainable work enivornment and good working conditions.

Syftet med vår fenomenografiska undersökning om stress i skolan är att utifrån ett elev? och åldersperspektiv få en bild av om och i så fall vad som kan stressa elever i skolan, hur de då känner sig och om de har egna åtgärder och strategier för att i så fall förändra situationen. Vår övergripande frågeställning i undersökningen är hur elever i olika årskurser förstår och upplever fenomenet stress i skolan. Det empiriska underlaget för vår kvalitativa undersökning baseras på enkäter med tre öppna frågeställningar. Undersökningen omfattar 125 enkätsvar av elever från årskurserna två, fyra, sex, sju, nio och andra året på gymnasiet.

The purpose of this study is to examine how pupils in high school see on the subject violence, and see how their experience of the subject is. The purpose of this study is also to see how common violence is belong juveniles and to examine their attitudes among the subject. We will in our examine and research among violence in the Swedish schools get an insight of how the violence in the school looks like and how wide spread violence really is. We want threw our objective sight and by using quantitative and qualitative interview methods give you readers an insight to the daily school world, we want to find out how the pupils themselves experience the school environment and what cautions teachers and other staff take to reduce this problem. Our main question is: ? What kind of vision do the pupils have on violence in school, and what can be a factor to the increasing violence in the schools of Sweden.

I uppsatsen intervjuas: samordnare, metodutvecklare och boendestödjare om sin syn på social dokumentation och om hur arbetet går till på deras arbetsplats. Social dokumentation handlar om att dokumentera vid handläggning och vid genomförande inom verksamheter styrda enligt SoL, LSS, LVU och LVM. Uppsatsens syfte är att visa på olika sätt att se på den sociala dokumentationen inom fältet boendestöd och att exemplifiera vad social dokumentation kan vara. Resultatet visar att social dokumentation sker i ett sammanhang och variationen mellan olika boendestöd är stor. Uppsatsen exemplifierar olika aspekter av dokumentationen genom att beskriva dokumentationen med beslut, genomförandeplan, uppföljning av insats, förbättringsåtgärder och visa på den sociala dokumentationens potential..
