Corporate Social responsibility, CSR väcker intresse bland företag och även många forskare har uppmärksammat begreppet på senare tid. Det finns banker som har börjat ta hänsyn till CSR i låneprocessen. Däremot är den forskning som finns om hur ett företags arbete med CSR beaktas i låneprocessen begränsad, vilket gör det svårt att skapa en förståelse för området. För att kunna skapa en bättre förståelse har det resulterat i frågeställningen: Hur och varför beaktar banker företagens arbete med CSR vid kreditgivning? För att besvara frågeställningen har CSR definierats med sju dimensioner vilka har varit utgångspunkterna för den teoretiska referensramen, samt för den kvalitativa studien.

Playing chamber music is not only about music - there are social and practical things to deal with too. For example things like how to decide practising times and how to share the responsibility of the practical things like finding score for the music and booking rooms for the rehearsals. And also how to choose a way to interpret a piece when members of the ensemble are having several different opinions about it, what kind of roles people in the ensemble take and how these roles work with each other. This is an essay about what I have learned about these things on the different lessons and lectures, from all conversations with my fellow students and teachers and from my own experience as a member of different ensembles during my studies in the University of Gothenburg..

CSR, Corporate Social responsibility, har under de senaste decennierna utvecklats till en mer eller mindre obligatorisk del i ett företags verksamhet i dess strävan att lyckas överleva på den konkurrensutsatta marknaden. Det finns dock än idag stora skillnader i hur pass mycket olika företag ägnar sig åt CSR. Med utgångspunkt från en rad olika skandaler som media belyst de senaste två decennierna, och hur allmänheten reagerat på detta beroende på vilket företag det varit fråga om, har ett intresse väckts i varför vissa företag lägger mer resurser på CSR-arbete än andra.Denna studie ämnar undersöka huruvida det förekommer skillnader mellan industri- och konsumentföretags grad av CSR-arbete, och i så fall - mer specifikt - om dessa skillnader har att göra med om det är ett industri- eller konsumentföretag, eller om det endast är andra faktorer som spelar in. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ undersökning där två företag från respektive bransch undersöks på djupet, och kompletteras med en kvantitativ undersökning där hållbarhetsredovisningar samt webbsidor från ytterligare tre företag från respektive bransch studeras. Utifrån tidigare forskning samt det teoretiska ramverket som framtagits, genereras tre hypoteser där förväntningar på utfallet presenteras och testas.Undersökningen visar att det förekommer skillnader mellan valda företags CSR-arbete, inte bara mellan branscherna utan även inom dem.

This essay is included as a sub-study of a survey about child poverty, which the Department of Sociology at Uppsala University, the Ombudsman for Children and Gillbergska Stiftelsen (the Gillberg?s foundation) has been commissioned by Uppsala Town to implement. The intent of this essay is to investigate how three pre-school managers in the municipal preschool in Uppsala describe child poverty, how they see the preschool?s Social responsibility and how they manage child poverty in their practical operation. The essay is a qualitative study and informants' responses has been analyzed and related to symbolic interactionism, the thesis theoretical basis.

The study aims to illustrate how women victims of male violence in intimate relationships are treated during the legal process and with professional perspective describe what women?s experiences considered to be in the legal process. The study also aims to draw attention to the interventions for abused women during the legal process.The results are based on interviews with professionals in the justice system, and on observations in the courtroom. Overall our results show that abused women are in need of a great quantity of help and support before, during and after the negotiation. The legal process is very stressful for the women.

This study?s purpose was to examine which main forms of teaching methods that occurs in the Swedish nine-year compulsory school and how often learning through social collaboration take place. The study contained literature and interviews with eight teachers. Our research-questions were: What is the teacher?s opinion about different teaching methods, their opinion about learning and teaching and if there were any difference between the teachers teaching younger or older students regarding teaching methods? Our conclusions of this study were that ?lecture-methods? is the most common among teachers.

In this thesis I based on Fowler?s method of syntax analysis construct a flow scheme which I then use to make a syntax analysis of former State Secretary Lars Danielsson?s statements, in his autobiography, regarding his responsibility in the Swedish government?s management of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami disaster. The focus of the flow scheme is how grammatical constructions can be used in the interest of rhetoric?s to on the syntax (non-explicit) level of the text indicate and place responsibility with or outside of involved individuals. The main conclusion of the syntax analysis performed is that Danielsson in his autobiography in fact does not use very many of the constructions described in the flow scheme, whereby it can be concluded that the syntax analysis in this case wasn?t so ?revealing?.

This bachelor thesis in business economics raises the topic about Corporate Responsibility (CR), this topic is currently being discussed in a variety of channels and today an increasing number of companies are involved in corporate responsibility. How do Skanska work with sustainability and why are they doing this? It is also important to see the results of the work with sustainability will lead to. We will go into more depth in one of Skanska's projects, project M25, to investigate the CR strategies they use and see how they actually work with sustainability. The purpose of this paper is to describe and analyze how and why Skanska is working to implement CR policies in their operations and more specifically from the M25 project in order to achieve sustainable business development.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to study the companies approach to sustainability and to examine the relationship between the report content and the sustainability efforts businesses are making in practice.Method: The study has a qualitative perspective with semi-structured interviews and content analysis as method to collect data. Three companies were interviewed; Tekniska Verken AB, Apoteket AB and Max hamburgerrestauranger AB. The content analysis was used when collecting data from the three companies? sustainability reports.Frame of reference: Legitimacy theory, Stakeholder theory, Institutional theory, the Pyramid of Corporate Social responsibility.Results: The result showed that all companies are prepared to work for sustainable development and that they view sustainability as an integrated part of their work. The sustainability report is the basis for sustainability reporting, which is a way for companies to demonstrate to their stakeholders what they stand for and what they implement in practice.

The aim of this study was to describe how the best interest of the child can be constructed in investigations concerning permission for international adopt, where adequate parenthood is investigated. Qualitative research interviews were used as method. Seven investigators from six different sections of the city of Stockholm were interviewed. The information was analysed on the basis of a sociological approach to law and social constructionism.The result showed that adequate parenthood is a condition in the interest of the child. Adequate parenthood is specified as the parent?s qualities and possibility to care for an adopted child.

Social hållbarhet är ett högaktuellt ämne. Delegationen för hållbara städer presenterade år 2012 sin slutrapport och bara ett år senare presenterade Malmökommissionen sin slutrapport för ett social hållbart Malmö. Syftet med uppsatsen är att bredda kunskapen om social konsekvensbeskrivning samt att undersöka dess potentiella effekt på social hållbarhet, eftersom det är av största vikt att hitta konkreta arbetssätt för att uppnå ökad social hållbarhet. Genom en litteraturstudie undersöks i uppsatsens första del vad begreppet social konsekvensbeskrivning har för bakgrund, varför det förespråkas, hur en metod för genomförande skulle kunna se ut samt vilka utmaningar som finns. I uppsatsens andra del studeras tre artiklar som utvärderat effekten av att utföra social konsekvensbeskrivning. Litteraturstudiet resulterar i slutsatsen att social konsekvensbeskrivning har stor effekt på social hållbarhet, på flera olika sätt. Trots att metoden medför en hel del komplexa frågor att förhålla sig till finns det därmed god anledning att utveckla arbetet med social konsekvensbeskrivning, för att vi tillsammans ska nå en mer socialt hållbar framtid..

Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) does not have an explicit definition but instead entail a broad spectrum of various obligations that an organisation is responsible for. CSR has in recent years become a highly relevant and debatable topic as a consequence of the increased exposure of companies to society. Due to an augmented consumption from the general population, CSR is of great importance in companies' aspiration to create and maintain a solid relationship with costumers. Previous researches have described what areas of CSR are most relevant in terms of consumption. However, it can be suggested that these publications have failed to provide an indication of what type of costumers these various areas attract.

Att vårda sina relationer har för företag blivit betydligt viktigare och mer tid har lagts på utvecklandet av relationsmarknadsföring. Hur dessa relationer skapas och vad som gör att de utvecklas och bibehålls har dessutom varit i forskarnas blickfång. I dagens forskning åtskiljs relationer mellan företag samt relationer mellan företag och konsumenter.Syftet med denna uppsats är att, genom att studera och analysera Hendryx Skis Industries konsumentrelationer, undersöka huruvida Holmlunds relationsmodell, som utvecklats för att studera relationer mellan företag, även är tillämpbar för att undersöka relationer mellan företag och konsumenter.Med skidföretaget Hendryx Skis Industries som fallstudie analyserades det insamlade materialet med hjälp av tre dimensioner; en teknisk, en social och en ekonomisk. Tydligt kan sägas att den tekniska och sociala dimensionen kan identifieras som viktiga och väl fungerande mätinstrument. Däremot bör bättre anpassade ekonomiska variabler utarbetas för att på bästa sätt kunna analysera kundrelationer även inom denna dimension..

The intension of this study is to investigate the interaction between teachers and social workers in two diffrent countys. The study is focused on how teachers act upon suspicions when there are children at risk and what kind of support the teacher gets from social workers. Another importent question is if the teachers know what kind of rules regarding to confidentiality and if it would be better for the pupils if there were no confidentiality.To get answers to my questions, i have interviewed teachers and social workers in both countys.In this study I assume that the power has three dimensions and that there are four levels of interaction.Due to the law about confidentiality the social worker has the power over the teachers. Because the law about confidentiality it is difficult for teachers and social workers to interact.If the teacher want help from social services, she or he must call the social worker because the social worker will not call the teacher. If the social worker want to help the teacher and give her advice, the social worker can do that without breaking confidentiality.

This study has a double purpose. First, it explores and maps out the use of quantitative key indicators in social performance reporting within a microfinance portfolio. This was done on behalf of Storebrand Asset Management, who would like to aggregate and report the social results of their microfinance investments to their customers. The study concludes that the extent of social reporting and types of indicators used varies, meaning that it is hard to aggregate data for use in further reporting. Thus, the work towards the goal of social reporting has only just begun.
