There is an ongoing discussion about the declining quality of the teaching in the swedish school. This essay is a contribution to that discussion. It suggests that a certain kind of dialogue is necessary for the quality of the teaching to recover, and thereby also the quality of the students? education.The author turns firstly to philosophers of dialogue and finds in their works views appropriate to use when facing the situation of the swedish school. With the ideas of Martin Buber the author redefines the students as creatures of relationships.

Vårt syfte med detta arbete var att lära mer om infärgning som undervisningsmetod och hur detta på verkar elevers motivation. Vi genomförde ett projekt med infärgning mellan matematik och byggämnet i två klasser på Byggprogrammet. Meningen var att undersöka hur projektet påverkade elevernas motivation. Vi identifierade tre faktorer, kompetens, autonomi och anknytning, som grundläggande för motivation och undersökte detta med två stycken standardiserade enkäter. På grund av faktorer som inte ligger inom vår kontroll fick vi ett stort bortfall av undersökningspersoner och undersökningen uppvisar ingen signifikant skillnad..

Tidigare forskning har pekat på att motiverande klassrumsmiljöer kan påverkas genom till exempel lärarens förmåga att upprätthålla god disciplin och ordning i klassen, höga ämneskunskaper, social kompetens, positiv inställning till elever och elevrespekt samt skicklighet att ge återkoppling på elevprestationer. Men frågan är hur elever upplever vilka faktorer som påverkar deras motivation i matematikämnet. Syftet med denna studie är att synliggöra processer och förutsättningar som är kopplade till elevmotivation inom matematik i gymnasieskolan. I studien använde vi oss av kvalitativ metod, det vill säga att vi intervjuade sju elever och observerade dem och deras lärare i lärandemiljön. Analysen av det empiriska materialet visade att nästan alla elever som ingick i studien har prestationsmål och därmed är yttre motiverade, vilket kan missgynna den inre motivationen.

Det är viktigt med engagemang och motivation i läraryrket, dels för pedagogens skull, genom att hon känner mening med sitt arbete, dels för elevernas resultat. Den här uppsatsen är skriven i syftet att studera pedagogens uppfattningar om begreppen engagemang och motivation, samt vilk faktorer som pedagogerna uppfattar påverkar deras engagemang och motivation i arbetet. För att ta reda på detta har vi använt oss av kvalitativ metod och intervjuer som datainsamlingsmetod. Bearbetningen av materialet genomfördes genom narrativ analys. Resultatet visar på många olika faktorer som kan påverka pedagogens engagemang och motivation, till exempel att pedagogen behöver sätta gränser på olika sätt för att bibehålla sitt engagemang.

SammanfattningTvångsvården av missbrukare har en historisk förankring som går tillbaks till 1900-talets början. Under andra halvan av samma sekel uppkom ett tilltagande missbruk av narkotiska preparat. Under 1980-talets inledande år kände sig regeringen manad att vidta åtgärder, och tillsatte därför en ny lagstiftning som skulle regleras under SoL. Background: Hypochondriasis is associated with marked impairments in physical and psychological functioning, work performance and increased health care utilization. The prevalence among medical outpatients is estimated to be between 4,2 % and 6,3 %. Notwithstanding there is deficient research in this area. Until recently no specific treatment has been clearly demonstrated to be effective. Objective: The aim was to investigate experiences of what it is like to live with hypochondriasis, but also to examine different treatment options.

AbstractThis master thesis was performed at Scania transmission department in Södertälje, where the manufacturing of gears is done. Today a large amount of manual handling is performed between the machining and the hardening process. Most of the manual handling is done at the heat treatment department. The purpose of this master thesis is to give a suggestion on how to reduce or eliminate the manual handling at the heat treatment department. The possibility to use the same packaging throughout the processes will also be investigated.

Motivation är en betydelsefull kompontent för en individs utövande utav studier. Studien utgick ifrån motivationsteorin Self- determination theory. Syftet med studien var att redogöra för relationen mellan högskolestudenters demografiska faktorer och vilken typ av motivation som driver dem till att utöva studier, samt relationen mellan motivationstyperna. Med typ av motivation avses amotivation, inre samt yttre motivation. Studien bestod utav 102 studenter, varav 49 män och 53 kvinnor, från en högskola i mellersta Sverige som fick besvara enkäten The Academic Motivation Scale.

Leadership in organizations plays a crucial role in promoting employee motivation. Different leadership styles have been shown to affect motivation in various ways. The purpose of this report is to establish a deeper understanding of the relationship between different leadership styles and motivation according to Self-Determination Theory. The report also aims to highlight potential similarities and differences in the perceptions of leaders and employees in various industries, regarding motivation as defined by Self-Determination Theory. Based on a case study, it includes interviews with eight leaders and eight employees.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka några gymnasiesärskolelärares syn på motivation och förankring i styrdokumenten i ämnet matematik. Min utgångspunkt är det sociokulturella perspektivet, där delaktighet ligger till grund för motivationen. Delaktighet i det sociala sammanhanget samt i elevernas egen kunskapsutveckling.Jag har valt en kvalitativ ansats och en fenomenografisk analys, mitt fokus är att hitta skillnader i lärarnas uppfattningar kring motivation och styrdokument. Med stöd av denna ansats har jag valt åtta semistrukturerade intervjuer, som metod.Resultatet visar att det finns variationer på hur lärarna ser på motivation och utvecklingstörning. Utfallsrummet är inre förutsättningar för motivation med underkategorierna inuti individen och i samspel med andra och yttre förutsättningar för motivation.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka introjektiv motivation och arbetsrelaterad stress. Studien grundades i Self-determination theory och delades upp i studie 1 och 2. Syftet med studie 1 var att undersöka huruvida introjektiv motivation kan delas upp i två motivationstyper. Ett mätinstrument utformades för att undersöka sambandet, med data från 77 respondenter. Resultatet visade på ett signifikant, positivt medelstarkt samband.

This study is qualitative and aims to describe and analyze how senior citizens with alcohol- related problems are recognized by social workers within local care for the elderly. The empirical material consists of eleven semi-structured interviews which was completed with the help of social workers within local elderly care. The findings of the study shows that the processing of the senior citizens alcohol related problem can be explained as an identified ?awareness process.? Further, the findings of the study shows that awareness is often made by others than the social workers themselves. The study has also showed that known versus unknown information about present alcohol-related problems, tends to be crucial for when and how awareness is made in the ?awareness process?. .

Since the mid 1900s the organizational perspective in media producing companies has changed. The focus has shifted from just being a laborer to the person behind the effort. The most important for an efficient and smooth organization is the motivation of the employees and the social working environment. Former research argues that managers must be coaches and that crucial factors for the survival of organizations are creativity, innovation and adaptability. With this study we investigate what motivates employees to use their creative skills.

This article presents a survey of male dogs treated with the gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist deslorelin (Suprelorin®, Virbac) at three animal clinics in central Sweden. Filled-in questionnaires from 110 dogs were received. The paper also includes a review of existing litterature concerning reproduction in male dogs, focusing on endocrinology, the effects of gonadectomy and the GnRH agonist deslorelin. Continuous treatment with deslorelin produces infertility in male dogs. The pituitary is initially stimulated by deslorelin leading to a rise in luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) secretion. As a consequence the testosterone levels also increase temporarily.
