Syftet med studien var att på lagidrottare (1) undersöka samband mellan motivation och socialt stöd utifrån familj, tränare och kompisar, (2) undersöka skillnader i upplevt stöd från familj, tränare och kompisar samt (3) undersöka skillnader mellan kvinnor och män inom variablerna motivation och socialt stöd. I studien deltog 101 lagidrottare (män n =49, kvinnor n =52) från totalt fem olika idrotter, synkroniserad konståkning, fotboll, handboll, innebandy samt ishockey, i åldrarna 16-40 (M = 22,39; SD =3,66). Data samlades in via kvantitativ ansats, mätinstrument som användes var Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support samt The Behavioural Regulation In exercise Questionnaire-2. Resultatet visade positiva samband mellan motivation och socialt stöd, där framförallt stöd från kompisar var positivt relaterat med inre motivation. En kombination av stöd utifrån familj, kompisar och tränare uppvisade  ett positivt samband med inre motivation.

Music used in exercise has been widely used since 1970. Researchers have pointed out thatfuture research about music influence on motivation should include a comparison betweengender in health club environments. This is also the aim of this paper. We have handed outsurveys, all together 120, in two different health clubs in Gothenburg, Sweden. A distinctionhas been done between gender.

Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to describe the social media usage of five European official national tourism organizations (NTO). The essay proceeds to discuss and evaluate the findings, whilst reflecting on the advantages of social media usage from the point of view of an official national tourism organization.Method: The authors used three different methods of research: one structured observation to study the national tourism organizations? everyday work in social media, one field stimulation to study if and how different NTO respond if a prospective visitor makes them a direct question via social media and finally an email interview to gain insight into NTO?s underlying strategies and policies about social media usage.Theoretical framework: The theories that have been used in this paper include the Uses and gratifications model, theories of one-way and multi-way communication, theories of social media and relationship marketing.Conclusion: By making use of social media the company releases some of its control to the customers as the latter can express their opinions freely in this type of media. One of the advantages of social media is that the platform favors dialogue and feedback. Social media can be used for traditional one-way communication, but works best as a supplement to the regular marketing activities, allowing the activities on social media platforms to focus on branding and building long-term customer relationships.

The aim of this study was to map out the quality of the treatment in the forensic outpatient care unity in Malmoe from a patient point of view. This target group, seriously mentally disordered law-offenders, has been neglected in the scientific research. This investigation will hopefully contribute to a positive change in this subject. To achieve a good understanding of this field a methodological triangulation was conducted which included an observational study, a pilotstudy and semistructured interviews. 14 patients and 10 staff members were interviewed.

In the area of short stories there is little doubt that Roald Dahl has been an influential writer. Dahl´s short stories have been presented to the general public through TVbraodcasts but in order to grasp the true spirit of Dahl´s writing the best method is, of course, reading his books. The fictional works of Roald Dahl can be divided into two major categories: stories for adults and stories for children. This essay is concerned with the second grouping and is an attempt to analyse three themes that are of particular importance to his work. After a brief biographical note on the author, the essay analyses the element of the macabre in Dahl?s writing.

The aim of my study was to investigate a few young peoples experience of their treatment. The study was qualitative based on interviews with three young persons at the end of their treatment there. The subject was chosen because this kind of youth housing is an interesting alternative to institutional care for young people, despite there is not much known about the results of the treatment. The results were analyzed from earlier research and central concepts from the theory of empowerment and Anton Antonovskys theory about Sense of coherence. The results of this study show that these young peoples are satisfied with their treatment at the youth housing.

Diabetes Mellitus is one of the most common endocrinologic disorders among dogs. The disorder has a complex background, and successful treatment requires a well-functioning co-operation between pet owners and the veterinarian. The purpose of this study is to investigate the owners? perspective of diabetic treatments offered, and to estimate expected length of survival post-insulin therapy. The research findings are based on a survey mailed to 77 pet owners, whose dogs were diagnosed with diabetes between 1999 and 2003 at the small animal clinic of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. The median survival for the dogs that underwent insulin treatment was 31 months, i.e.

Att behärska två språk och två länders syn på pedagogik är en bra förutsättning om man vill undersöka och jämföra dessa två länders syn på barn med funktionsnedsättning. Syftet med föreliggande uppsats är därmed att belysa hur skolans styrdokument i Sverige och i Ungern formulerar och beskriver barn med funktionsnedsättning. En del av syftet är också att finna likheter och skillnader mellan det svenska och det ungerska styrdokumentet.Som material till ändamålet används den nya svenska Skollagen (2010) och den ungerska Utbildningslagen (1993). Analysen genomfördes med analysverktyget diskursanalys där jag har analyserat språket som beskriver barn med funktionsnedsättning.Resultaten visar att båda skollagarna har en tydlig koppling till de gällande internationella dokumenten där allas lika värde poängteras. Den svenska Skollagen har dessutom en relationell och deltagande syn på funktionsnedsättning medan den ungerska Utbildningslagen, som är 17 år äldre än den svenska lagen, betonar en kompensatorisk och individinriktad syn..

Patienter kan vara olika motiverade till rehabilitering. Motivation är den avgörande faktorn och en förutsättning för allt behandlingsarbete och det är därför viktigt att fokusera på patienternas motivation i rehabilitering. Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur arbetsterapeuter i klinisk verksamhet arbetar och tänker kring motivation i rehabiliteringsprocessen. Metoden för datainsamlingen var att intervjua fyra arbetsterapeuter på fyra olika rehabiliteringsenheter. Intervjuerna bearbetades genom att materialet kategoriserades.

The topic of this paper is tuberculosis, especially in regard to the sanitarium movement and the efforts that were made to cure, ease and stop the spreading of the disease. The sanitarium movement was established in the late 19th century before any effective cure for the disease had been found. At this time the only treatment for the patients were fresh air, rest and good food. The paper analyses the case books for some of the patients at the sanitarium Lugnet which was situated close to the Swedish town Växjö in order to see if the treatment of the patients differed depending on gender. The aim with this study was to find out how young people at age 16-19 years in Kalmar, Sweden use and interact through Facebook. The questions in our questionnaire were based on three themes, these are; friendship relations on Facebook, what influence Facebook has on young people and how they choose to present themselves on Facebook. The theory that was applied on this study is of social-psychological kind. We chose the theory because we figured it would be suitable to further explain and dispute the aim of the study. The result shows that many different variables can matter in a study like this. We chose to look at a few, such as for example sex and age and we found out that there is a great difference between the way girls and boys use Facebook and how they choose to present themselves in this social media. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka motivationsfaktorer som ligger bakom viljan att fortsätta musicera år efter år. Fokus ligger vid blåsorkestern och blåsinstrumentalister, de äldre instrumentalisterna i orkestern. Studien är avgränsad till att vara en positiv undersökning av motivation i samband med musicerande, främst musicerande i grupp.  Uppsatsen handlar om olika motivationsfaktorer som verkar motiverande för att hålla intresset för att musicera vid liv, detta har undersökts genom kvalitativa intervjuer. Efter arbetet med studien har tre olika motivationsfaktorer växt fram, social motivation, motivation genom personlig utveckling samt musikalisk motivation. Motivationsfaktorerna bygger på faktorer som ungdomar pratar om enligt Minda Birgestam och Rebecka Källner (2011), det sociala, personlig utveckling och den musikaliska upplevelsen.
