The aim of this study is to through six interviews, with six experienced, social workers?, in three cities, understand how the child?s position in the Swedish child protective services? enquiries has change, and the factors behind it. The aim is also to compare if the social workers? view of the child?s position in the enquire has change accordingly to Socialstyrelsens intentions of BBIC. The theoretical approaches that was used is the new institutionalism, the Shier?s pathways to participation and the term discretion.

Fackliga organisationer har allt svårare att rekrytera personer under 30 år och i åldersgruppen anställda mellan 16-24 år är enbart 38 procent som är fackligt organiserade. Denna studie inriktas därav på att undersöka hur fackliga organisationer arbetar med att rekrytera personer under 30 år. Datainsamlingen sker genom intervjuer av sex fackliga organisationer samt en organisation som består av ett samarbete mellan tre fackliga organisationer. Intervjuerna inspirerades av tidigare forskning samt teoretiska utgångspunkter och utifrån det redovisas resultatet utifrån fyra teman. Det första temat handlar om hur viktiga målgruppen personer under 30 år är för de fackliga organisationerna.

Syftet med denna scoping review ?r att sammanst?lla och kartl?gga befintlig forskning om unga personer i eller p? v?g in i g?ngkriminalitet, med fokus p? vilka risk- och skyddsfaktorer som identifieras i litteraturen. Studien syftar ocks? till att unders?ka hur dessa faktorer beskrivs i relation till socialt arbete och f?rebyggande insatser.

The primary purpose of this essay is to study and describe what student?s self experiences of the media coverage of social work. The theoretical perspectives applied to analyse the empirical data are social constructionism, roles, and construction. The method of this study is qualitative and based on ten personal interviews. The material has been analysed by condensed meaning units and three themes have been used, the media coverage of social work, the relationship between social workers and media and the influence media coverage has on the students.The results given from these interviews show that the majority of the interviewed group considers the media coverage of social work as negative.

Problem I vilken utsträckning motsvarar ekonomerna från Mälardalens högskola de krav som arbetsgivarna i Västerås och Eskilstuna med omnejd ställer på nyutexaminerade ekonomer?SyfteGenom att kartlägga och analysera eventuella brister som förekommer hos utexaminerade ekonomer från Mälardalens högskola utifrån ett arbetsgivarperspektiv, är huvudsyftet med denna uppsats att komma med förslag till hur ekonomutbildningen kan kompletteras för att bättre motsvara arbetsgivarnas krav.MetodFör att uppnå studiens syfte har intervjuer gjorts med tio företag i regionen där representanter fått svara på frågor om brister och förtjänster hos ekonomer från Mälardalens högskola, samt vilka krav som ställs på nyutexaminerade ekonomer. Uppsatsens referensram bygger på sekundärdata från väsentliga webbplatser och böcker om ämnet högskolestudier och rekrytering.SlutsatsResultatet av denna studie är huvudsakligen att vi funnit att ekonomerna från Mälardalens högskola i hög utsträckning motsvarar de krav som arbetsgivarna i regionen ställer på sina nyanställda. De utvecklingsområden hos högskolan som framkommit är främst att kontakten med lokala arbetsgivare kan bli bättre genom exempelvis praktik eller fler gästföreläsare och att kurserna i högre grad kan knytas till verkligheten. Det har även visat sig att många företag ser det som positivt om studenterna breddar sina kunskaper inom bland annat engelska, andra språk, IT och teknikförståelse..

The purpose of the study was to examine what possibilities and obstacles, according to the personnel and patients in a methadone treatment, exist in the patient's social rehabilitation. How does the methadone treatment encourage the patient's social rehabilitation, what possibilities/obstacles are there according to personnel and patients? What does the patient see as important aspects of his/her social rehabilitation and what importance does the methadone have on the treatment? The results show that there are difficulties for patients to rebuild their life, find employment, start new social networks and get by with everyday tasks. The support from friends and family will simplify the patient's social rehabilitation, otherwise they get isolated and alone. Patients feel that they are fighting for a successful treatment so that they can have a relationship with friends and families again.

Our purpose was to investigate if Swedish University educated social workers, living as active Christians, in any way might be influenced by Christian values. The main questions; Can Christian values be a factor in the choice of career to become a social worker? How does a personal belief in Christ impact the relationship towards the clients? Is Christian belief a support in the work? In this paper we used a qualitative method and interviewed eight persons, with a background as above, four of them employed by a church organisation and the other four working in the social sector. The result we present is that the eight Christian social workers Christian belief influenced their work very individually. How much this supported them was a choice about how official and open they wanted Christian values to be.

Our main aim with this study is to shed a light over the social workers opinions about what they believe will be the consequences of introducing Housing First in the city of Stockholm. We wanted to examine the social workers perceptions about how Housing First could change their client?s autonomy and justice. Therefor we accomplished five qualitative interviews with social workers. We analyzed our empirical material with the theoretical terms; justice, autonomy and intern role-conflict.

This paper describes how files and information can be shared in organisations and workplaces. We studied and compared the traditional file sharing in Microsoft Active Directory and the Social file sharing that comes with Microsoft SharePoint Sites. We used qualitative studies based on interviews with system administrators, management and by our own observations to acquire the necessary data. Using independent research, we were able to analyze the data and show the general difference between the traditional and the social file sharing systems. Social file sharing enables the user to easily store and share files in a flexible online environment.

    The purpose of this essay is to examine trust, or lack of trust, in the social services. Previous research considering this topic is limited, which, in our point of view, implies the need of further studies. A quantative method was used, consisting of an online questionnaire containing statements about the social services. The statements were designed using a five level Likert-scale which required the respondent to rate their level of agreement. The questionnaire was published on five webcommunities directed to parents.

This study aims to examine how professionals in the field of foster care works with recruitments, assessment and education of family homes for unaccompanied children. The intention is to find out in case there are specific needs that justify specific approach to ensure that the child's best interests are indicative and satisfied. The survey was conducted based on a qualitative method and empirical data gathered through semi-structured interviews with employees in the social services. The result shows that there is a need for more and specific education for families receiving unaccompanied children. It is motivated by the needs and conditions that are often common for this group.

The purpose of this paper was to examine social workers' experiences of integration of unaccompanied children. We aimed to study which factors in the individual and the community social workers experience affect the integration and how they, based on their understanding, work to promote integration. The essay has a phenomenological approach and focuses on the social workers' own experiences of the phenomenon. The empirical data was obtained from qualitative interviews conducted with five social workers, all administrators in cases involving unaccompanied children. The result shows that the social workers feel that the desire to integrate is the most important presumption that must be present in the unaccompanied children.

This was done due to the use of qualitative interviews with a total of six social workers. Of these six, three administrated social assistance for adolescents while the other three did the same for adults. Prior research of poverty attribution greatly inspired this essay.
