In order to broaden the understanding of work motivation the aim of the study was to compare how three different teams within the same organization constructed motivation. The three teams consisted of post sorters, team leaders and mailmen. Three focus group interviews were conducted with three men and eight women. The interviews were transcribed verbatim and thematically analysed with QSR NUD*IST. The result showed both similarities and differences in the construction of work motivation in the three teams.

The purpose of this essay was to study social workers´ and polices contributions with criminal youth gangs and get an insight in how co-operation in the contributions between these governments comes to rank and works.To find out, we carried out a study with a qualitative design based on document studies and interviews with social workers´ and polices who were meeting youths in their work.Our findings were that it's hard to define a criminal youth gang. The social workers´ and polices have both individual and common contributions with criminal youth gangs. One of their most important lining is to prevent new recruitment of young people to criminality. The main purpose is to illuminate how a company links certain values to its brand in an effort to achieve a competitive position. We have done this by studying the government owned company Svenska Spel and its entrance on the netpokermarket. With Corporate Social Responsibility as a guidance for the company they wanted to offer Swedish gamblers an alternative to the, often morally dubious, international actors. Our thesis has taken an internal (corporate) as well as an external (consumer) perspective on the result of this strive. Our conclusions are that although Svenska Spel is successfully integrating social responsibility into their netpokerbusiness, they are facing a difficulty in making the consumer fully appreciate it.

Aim: To investigate the quality of life and the social life situation, with special focus on the consequenses of fear of hypoglycemia (FoH), in Islet transplanted patients.Method: 11 patients were included, four women and seven men, who have been Islet tranplanted at Uppsala University Hospital during the years 2001-2009. Two questionaires, Short Form 36 (SF-36) and the Swedish version Hypoglycemia Fear Survey (Swe-HFS) were used to investigate the quality of life, in relation to fear of hypoglycemia. Also, telephone interviews were conducted to investigate the patients social life situation in relation to FoH, after Islet transplantation and were analysed using content analysis method.Results: The mean value for quality of life was lower than that in the normal population. Three out of ten patients experienced FoH. Three predominant themes were revealed, one theme associated with pre- transplant, was ?Struggle for control of Social Life Situation? and two themes associated with post-transplant, were ?Regain power and controll of  Social Life Situation? and ?At Peace with the balance between the Present and the Future?.Conclusion: The patients experienced improved control over social life situation and quality of life in relation to FoH may been improved following islet tranplantation..

Uppsatsen behandlar ämnet affärssystem och studerar systemet med utgångspunkt från vårdföretaget Carema Omsorg. Affärssystem är en typ av informationsteknologi som har till syfte att integrera informationsflödet i en organisation för att skapa högre effektivitet och sänka kostnaderna. Mötet mellan en organisation och affärssystemet kan vara en mycket komplex process som bidrar till både negativa och positiva upplevelser för företaget. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur Carema Omsorg upplever att affärssystemet har påverkat organisationen i förhållande till den teori som presenteras kring affärssystem som främst bygger på produktionsföretags erfarenheter av systemet. Problematiken ses utifrån att erfarenheter och kunskap om affärssystem främst bygger på produktionsföretagens upplevelser av affärssystemets påverkan på företaget. Den teoretiska infallsvinkeln är främst utifrån Davenport och Markus & Tanis som har publicerat ett flertal ansedda artiklar angående affärssystem. Studien har genomförts genom en empirisk undersökning i form av intervjuer och en enkätundersökning.
