Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie är att beskriva hur närstående upplevde sin förändrade livssituation i samband med en cancersjukdom, men även skildra på vilket sätt sjuksköterskan kan stödja närstående i vardagen. Artikelsökningen har skett via databaser i Högskolan Dalarnas bibliotek. Artiklarna i studien var publicerade under åren 1998-2008 och skulle innehålla abstract, syfte, metod, resultat och diskussion samt vara skrivna på engelska. Artiklar som innehöll vård av cancersjuka barn exkluderades. Huvudresultatet visar att närstående upplever cancerdiagnosen som oväntad och känslor som chock, stress och misstro var vanliga i samband med cancerbeskedet.

Bakgrund: Antalet äldre som drabbas av demenssjukdom i Sverige ökar och därmed antalet anhörigvårdare. Demenssjukdom är en progressiv sjukdom och går inte att bota. Anhörigvårdare upplever en förändrad livssituation och ökande påfrestning när de vårdar en närstående med demenssjukdom i hemmet.Syfte: Studiens syfte var att beskriva maka/makes eller sambos upplevelser av att vårda en närstående med demenssjukdom i hemmet.Metod: En litteraturöversikt med kvalitativ ansats, där nio vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades med Lundman och Hällgren Graneheims (2008) kvalitativa innehållsanalys.Resultat: Anhörigvårdarnas liv förändrades av att vårda en närstående med demenssjukdom. Relationer och roller påverkades av den demenssjukes allt större vårdbehov men även av hur deras relation varit tidigare. Anhörigvårdarna använde sig av olika strategier och förhållningssätt för att hantera sin vardag och skapa en känsla av kontroll.

The purpose of this paper was to examine social workers' experiences of integration of unaccompanied children. We aimed to study which factors in the individual and the community social workers experience affect the integration and how they, based on their understanding, work to promote integration. The essay has a phenomenological approach and focuses on the social workers' own experiences of the phenomenon. The empirical data was obtained from qualitative interviews conducted with five social workers, all administrators in cases involving unaccompanied children. The result shows that the social workers feel that the desire to integrate is the most important presumption that must be present in the unaccompanied children.

What Places Adolescents and Adults, Respectively, in Need of Social Assistance? A Qualitative Study of How Social Workers Whom Administrate Financial Assistance for Adolescents and Adults, Respectively, Describe Reasons Behind the Need of Social Assistance Amongst Their ClientsThe purpose of this essay was to study and compare how social workers whom administrate social assistance for adolescents and adults, respectively, describe reasons behind the need of social assistance amongst their clients. This was done due to the use of qualitative interviews with a total of six social workers. Of these six, three administrated social assistance for adolescents while the other three did the same for adults. Prior research of poverty attribution greatly inspired this essay.

I dag är cirka 140 000 personer drabbade av demenssjukdom och en stor del av dessa vårdas av sin partner. Att leva med en person drabbad av demenssjukdom innebär en förändrad livssituation och en förändring av den närståendes livsvärld. Livskamrater till personer med demenssjukdom har enligt forskning behov kopplade till sjukdomen och den nya livssituation som sjukdomen medför både för dem själva och för deras partner. För att kunna möta den närståendes behov har sjuksköterskan ett ansvar att skapa en bild av deras upplevelser. Syftet med studien är att belysa närståendes upplevelser och känslor av att leva med en demenssjuk livskamrat.

The purpose with this essay was to study how the social work is shaped in the methadone programme and how the staffs treat and work with the social integration for the patients.We have studied the experience of a medical assisted treatment from two different treatment clinics and focused on their treatment programme. We have chosen to focus on the social aspect but we have also been taking part of the medical treatment - the methadone. In order to get a bigger picture of our problem area we also studied how Sweden's narcotic politic is constructed and how a narcotic life could look like before the entrance in the program. We describe this with the help of the theory about the narcotic carrer and the society's view on a normal living..

This thesis is a study of social movements and their possibilities to effect politics by infuencing values in society through framing. I've looked upon social movements from a functionalistic-structuralistic perspective, as if they were carriers of values from people that otherwise won't be represented in the political life. The values that the social movements are struggling for can affect both the opinion and the decision-makers since the social movements in an active way are trying ti influence the society. The thesis examines the political opportunities that social movements hav to mobilise and grow. I have looked at different factors that either improve or make the political opportunities worse.

Fram till 1993 var sjuksköterskeutbildningen en utbildning som endast gav yrkesexamen och ingen akademisk examen. Efter -93 blev dock sjuksköterskeutbildningen en treårig högskoleutbildning som kunde ge både en generell akademiskexamen samt en yrkesexamen. Detta medförde att halva utbildningen skulle ske inom huvudämnet vilket kom att bli vårdvetenskap/omvårdnad. Syftet med studien är att undersöka om sjuksköterskor utbildade före 1993, har ett vårdande med utgångspunkt från ett vårdvetenskapligt synsätt. Studien genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats.

The purpose of this paper was to discuss stigma and stigmatisation in relation to social policy and social work. By discussing welfare systems in social policy I wanted to see if there could be any connection between social policy and stigma. I used case studies of hearing impaired adults to give examples of how the stigma processes work. By connecting the stigma and the social policy theories with the case studies I wanted to see how the social policy could affect the stigma processes or vice versa.In the paper the concept of stigma has been described and discussed, foremost using the theories of Erving Goffman. I have also discussed the welfare system and the connection between residual systems and stigma.

Bakgrund: Bröstcancer utgör den vanligaste cancerformen hos kvinnor. I Sverige diagnostiseras i genomsnitt 7000 kvinnor årligen med bröstcancer. Sjukdomen påverkar hela kvinnans livssituation då den medför en rad fysiska förändringar som påverkar identiteten som kvinna och självuppfattning samt utgör ett existentiellt hot. Krisreaktioner är inte heller ovanliga. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa hur kvinnor upplever den förändrade livssituationen i samband med bröstcancer.

The concept contains responsibility and sustainability for those who chose to work with Corporate Social Responsibility and the three responsibility areas within the concept. Responsibility and sustainability is of importance, no matter what core business a corporation has. The responsibility goes both out from the corporation, to take care of the surrounding society and the environment. The responsibility also concerns the corporation interal, aiming for a sustainable work enivornment and good working conditions.

I uppsatsen intervjuas: samordnare, metodutvecklare och boendestödjare om sin syn på social dokumentation och om hur arbetet går till på deras arbetsplats. Social dokumentation handlar om att dokumentera vid handläggning och vid genomförande inom verksamheter styrda enligt SoL, LSS, LVU och LVM. Uppsatsens syfte är att visa på olika sätt att se på den sociala dokumentationen inom fältet boendestöd och att exemplifiera vad social dokumentation kan vara. Resultatet visar att social dokumentation sker i ett sammanhang och variationen mellan olika boendestöd är stor. Uppsatsen exemplifierar olika aspekter av dokumentationen genom att beskriva dokumentationen med beslut, genomförandeplan, uppföljning av insats, förbättringsåtgärder och visa på den sociala dokumentationens potential..

How do you do co-operation between government agencies? It is a wide spread view that there can be quite a few hitches in co-operation between agencies. In later years this idea has spread to the media where there has been negative coverage of the social service agencies. This generally applies to cases where children suffer because the right assistance takes too long to co-ordinate or does not get co-ordinated at all between schools, healthcare and social services. The social welfare law dictates that it is the social welfare office duty to co-ordinate the government agencies for the child?s best interest.

Our paper is targeting mainly students, but also all other people interested in social work with children. The purpose of our study was to investigate how the social workers experience and handle their work with children, who have been exposed to sexual abuse, and what kind of support and guidance the social workers are offered, in order to handle their working situation. We chose to perform a qualitative study, by the use of interviews, since we found it to be the most appropriate way to gather the information. Our conclusion is that the work with these issues is emotionally burdensome and requires a great commitment, however it is essential for the social workers to maintain a certain distance to their work, in order not to influence their personal lives. It is through experience and knowledge that the social workers learn how to handle their working situation. We also learned that although the work with sexual abuse against children gave birth to different emotions of the social worker, the social workers feel satisfaction with their work, by helping the exposed children. We hope that our paper will inspire and encourage to further studies in the area, since there is still much to be explored. .

The focus of this thesis is on social workers? knowledge in assessing and making decisions in child welfare cases. The primary aim is to identify what skills or knowledge social workers find most useful within child welfare agencies in Swedish municipalities. Six different types of knowledge, social policy and the approach of child welfare cases are perspectives considered in the analysis. The interviews with social workers were held in three agencies in southern Sweden, in 2014.
