Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur nyexaminerade lärare beskriver sina erfarenheter och kunskaper vad gäller hantering av konflikter mellan elever samt hur de genom sin utbildning har förberetts för sådana utmaningar. Frågeställningarna är följande:-          hur definieras och beskrivs konflikter?-          vilka strategier har lärarana för att lösa konflikter mellan elever?-          vilka kunskaper i konflikthantering har lärarna fått från lärarutbildningen på Högskolan för lärande och kommunikation i Jönköping?För att få svar på dessa frågor genomförde vi halvstrukturerade kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer med  åtta nyexaminerade tidigarelärare. Datamaterialet analyserades samt tolkades och tre huvudkategorier gick att urskilja, Konflikt och konflikthantering, Känslor samt Förberedelser från lärarutbildningen.Resultatet visar att de nyexaminerade tidigarelärarna känner sig osäkra på hur de ska hantera konflikter mellan elever och att de saknar metoder och strategier för hur de ska gå tillväga i en konfliktsituation. De upplever att små konflikter, som till exempel tjafs är svårare atthantera än stora konflikter som innehåller våld.

The purpose of this paper was to examine social workers' experiences of integration of unaccompanied children. We aimed to study which factors in the individual and the community social workers experience affect the integration and how they, based on their understanding, work to promote integration. The essay has a phenomenological approach and focuses on the social workers' own experiences of the phenomenon. The empirical data was obtained from qualitative interviews conducted with five social workers, all administrators in cases involving unaccompanied children. The result shows that the social workers feel that the desire to integrate is the most important presumption that must be present in the unaccompanied children.

What Places Adolescents and Adults, Respectively, in Need of Social Assistance? A Qualitative Study of How Social Workers Whom Administrate Financial Assistance for Adolescents and Adults, Respectively, Describe Reasons Behind the Need of Social Assistance Amongst Their ClientsThe purpose of this essay was to study and compare how social workers whom administrate social assistance for adolescents and adults, respectively, describe reasons behind the need of social assistance amongst their clients. This was done due to the use of qualitative interviews with a total of six social workers. Of these six, three administrated social assistance for adolescents while the other three did the same for adults. Prior research of poverty attribution greatly inspired this essay.

I centrum för utvärderingen står ett äldreboende som tidigare varit ett sjukhem vilket har genomgått en omfattande renoverings- och omorganiseringsprocess. Vårt syfte har varit att undersöka personalens upplevelser av såväl de materiella som de organisatoriska förändringarna samt identifiera om dessa omändringar har fått någon betydelse för deras arbetssituation. Vi ville även utreda om ledningen hade kunnat agera annorlunda i något avseende och i så fall hur. En kvalitativ intervjumetod med personal, äldreomsorgs- och enhetschef har använts för att uppnå syftet och besvara våra frågeställningar.Det framkommer i studien att personalen har upplevt förändringsfasen som turbulent, omvälvande och långdragen.

The purpose with this essay was to study how the social work is shaped in the methadone programme and how the staffs treat and work with the social integration for the patients.We have studied the experience of a medical assisted treatment from two different treatment clinics and focused on their treatment programme. We have chosen to focus on the social aspect but we have also been taking part of the medical treatment - the methadone. In order to get a bigger picture of our problem area we also studied how Sweden's narcotic politic is constructed and how a narcotic life could look like before the entrance in the program. We describe this with the help of the theory about the narcotic carrer and the society's view on a normal living..

This thesis is a study of social movements and their possibilities to effect politics by infuencing values in society through framing. I've looked upon social movements from a functionalistic-structuralistic perspective, as if they were carriers of values from people that otherwise won't be represented in the political life. The values that the social movements are struggling for can affect both the opinion and the decision-makers since the social movements in an active way are trying ti influence the society. The thesis examines the political opportunities that social movements hav to mobilise and grow. I have looked at different factors that either improve or make the political opportunities worse.

The purpose of this paper was to discuss stigma and stigmatisation in relation to social policy and social work. By discussing welfare systems in social policy I wanted to see if there could be any connection between social policy and stigma. I used case studies of hearing impaired adults to give examples of how the stigma processes work. By connecting the stigma and the social policy theories with the case studies I wanted to see how the social policy could affect the stigma processes or vice versa.In the paper the concept of stigma has been described and discussed, foremost using the theories of Erving Goffman. I have also discussed the welfare system and the connection between residual systems and stigma.

Corporate Social Responsiblity is today a well known concept in the business world. The concept contains responsibility and sustainability for those who chose to work with Corporate Social Responsibility and the three responsibility areas within the concept. Responsibility and sustainability is of importance, no matter what core business a corporation has. The responsibility goes both out from the corporation, to take care of the surrounding society and the environment. The responsibility also concerns the corporation interal, aiming for a sustainable work enivornment and good working conditions.

En stor del av livet spenderas på arbetsplatsen, därför är det viktigt att arbetsmiljön på arbetsplatsen är bra. Konflikter anses vara något negativt och kan leda till stress och frånvaro, men det är de olösta konflikterna som är problemet. Chefen är den som ska vara förebilden på arbetsplatsen och ansvarar för hur arbetsplatsen fungerar. Många chefer tycker att konflikter är besvärande och anser sig inte vara tillräckligt kunniga att hantera konflikten.Den problemformulering som har satts upp för uppsatsen är: Hur arbetar butikschefer med konflikter och konflikthantering? Syftet är att beskriva hur butikschefer arbetar med konflikter och konflikthantering.

I uppsatsen intervjuas: samordnare, metodutvecklare och boendestödjare om sin syn på social dokumentation och om hur arbetet går till på deras arbetsplats. Social dokumentation handlar om att dokumentera vid handläggning och vid genomförande inom verksamheter styrda enligt SoL, LSS, LVU och LVM. Uppsatsens syfte är att visa på olika sätt att se på den sociala dokumentationen inom fältet boendestöd och att exemplifiera vad social dokumentation kan vara. Resultatet visar att social dokumentation sker i ett sammanhang och variationen mellan olika boendestöd är stor. Uppsatsen exemplifierar olika aspekter av dokumentationen genom att beskriva dokumentationen med beslut, genomförandeplan, uppföljning av insats, förbättringsåtgärder och visa på den sociala dokumentationens potential..

How do you do co-operation between government agencies? It is a wide spread view that there can be quite a few hitches in co-operation between agencies. In later years this idea has spread to the media where there has been negative coverage of the social service agencies. This generally applies to cases where children suffer because the right assistance takes too long to co-ordinate or does not get co-ordinated at all between schools, healthcare and social services. The social welfare law dictates that it is the social welfare office duty to co-ordinate the government agencies for the child?s best interest.

Our paper is targeting mainly students, but also all other people interested in social work with children. The purpose of our study was to investigate how the social workers experience and handle their work with children, who have been exposed to sexual abuse, and what kind of support and guidance the social workers are offered, in order to handle their working situation. We chose to perform a qualitative study, by the use of interviews, since we found it to be the most appropriate way to gather the information. Our conclusion is that the work with these issues is emotionally burdensome and requires a great commitment, however it is essential for the social workers to maintain a certain distance to their work, in order not to influence their personal lives. It is through experience and knowledge that the social workers learn how to handle their working situation. We also learned that although the work with sexual abuse against children gave birth to different emotions of the social worker, the social workers feel satisfaction with their work, by helping the exposed children. We hope that our paper will inspire and encourage to further studies in the area, since there is still much to be explored. .

Med detta arbete ämnar vi undersöka vad som ligger till grund för bildlärares planeringsarbete. Under vår verksamhetsförlagda tid, genom erfarenheter under utbildningens gång och i den rådande samhällsdebatten kring skolan tycker vi oss ha mött en konflikt mellan bildundervisning och kursplanens mål. En konflikt som även berörs i Myndigheten för skolutvecklings rapport Nationella utvärderingen av grundskolan 2003 (NU-03). Syftet med undersökningen är att studera lärares uppfattningar med utgångspunkt i relevant forskning kring ämnet och därmed få utökad kunskap om relationen mellan lärares syn på bildämnet, kursplanen, traditioner och erfarenheter samt det egna planeringsarbetet. För att uppnå syftet valde vi att göra en undersökning bland bildlärare i grundskolans senare år och för att skapa en bred bild valde vi inledningsvis att skicka ut en enkät till samtliga lärare i vårt undersökningsområde (46 st.). Utifrån de svar vi fick in från enkäten gjorde vi ett urval där 5 lärare fick medverka i fördjupade samtal kring bildämnet och det egna planeringsarbetet. Resultatet visar på att alla lärarna i undersökningen anser sig i någon form ha kursplanen som grund för det egna planeringsarbetet.

The focus of this thesis is on social workers? knowledge in assessing and making decisions in child welfare cases. The primary aim is to identify what skills or knowledge social workers find most useful within child welfare agencies in Swedish municipalities. Six different types of knowledge, social policy and the approach of child welfare cases are perspectives considered in the analysis. The interviews with social workers were held in three agencies in southern Sweden, in 2014.

The purpose of this study was to examine knowledge within the social services. We narrowed the study down from general knowledge to scientifically produced knowledge and how the social workers relate to such knowledge. We aimed to see how the social workers perceive different knowledge and how they relate to the different sources of knowledge. We also examined the different factors that will enable and motivate social workers to stay updated with scientifically produced knowledge that is relevant to their work. We also examined what limits the ability or motivation for renewing ones knowledge.
