How do you do co-operation between government agencies? It is a wide spread view that there can be quite a few hitches in co-operation between agencies. In later years this idea has spread to the media where there has been negative coverage of the social service agencies. This generally applies to cases where children suffer because the right assistance takes too long to co-ordinate or does not get co-ordinated at all between schools, healthcare and social services. The social welfare law dictates that it is the social welfare office duty to co-ordinate the government agencies for the child?s best interest.

Our paper is targeting mainly students, but also all other people interested in social work with children. The purpose of our study was to investigate how the social workers experience and handle their work with children, who have been exposed to sexual abuse, and what kind of support and guidance the social workers are offered, in order to handle their working situation. We chose to perform a qualitative study, by the use of interviews, since we found it to be the most appropriate way to gather the information. Our conclusion is that the work with these issues is emotionally burdensome and requires a great commitment, however it is essential for the social workers to maintain a certain distance to their work, in order not to influence their personal lives. It is through experience and knowledge that the social workers learn how to handle their working situation. We also learned that although the work with sexual abuse against children gave birth to different emotions of the social worker, the social workers feel satisfaction with their work, by helping the exposed children. We hope that our paper will inspire and encourage to further studies in the area, since there is still much to be explored. .

Detta är en studie som har sin utgångspunkt i Pierre M. van Hieles teori om lärande i geometri, som presenterades 1986 i boken Structure and Insight. Van Hiele har i boken vidareutvecklat sin och Dina van Hiele-Geldofs ursprungliga lärandeteori från 1955. Vår studie har som syfte att se om van Hieles teori går att tillämpa i en individuell, skriftlig diagnos för att nivåbestämma elever i årskurs 1 på gymnasiet..

The focus of this thesis is on social workers? knowledge in assessing and making decisions in child welfare cases. The primary aim is to identify what skills or knowledge social workers find most useful within child welfare agencies in Swedish municipalities. Six different types of knowledge, social policy and the approach of child welfare cases are perspectives considered in the analysis. The interviews with social workers were held in three agencies in southern Sweden, in 2014.

The purpose of this study was to examine knowledge within the social services. We narrowed the study down from general knowledge to scientifically produced knowledge and how the social workers relate to such knowledge. We aimed to see how the social workers perceive different knowledge and how they relate to the different sources of knowledge. We also examined the different factors that will enable and motivate social workers to stay updated with scientifically produced knowledge that is relevant to their work. We also examined what limits the ability or motivation for renewing ones knowledge.

Jag har undersökt hur ca ett 30 tal tjejer uppfattar och upplevt Internetmobbning. Jag har bland annat studerat vad Internetmobbningen har för definition hos informanterna, varför Internetmobbning uppstår, om det, enligt informanterna är lika allvarligt som vanlig mobbning, som bland annat sker i skolor och på arbetsplatser, om Internetmobbning kan tänkas vara mer accepterat i samhället, huruvida informanterna har upplevt och påverkats av Internetmobbningen, och om de tror att det skiljer sig lika mycket Internetmobbning bland könen eller om det kan tänkas skilja sig. Mina teoretiska utgångspunkter härstammar från social psykologin och innefattar bland annat sociala identitetsprocesser, social interaktion och socialt identitetsskapande. Jag har även, utöver teori använt mig av tidigare forskning kring Internetmobbning men också av perspektiv tjejmobbning. Materialet är inhämtat från en enkätundersökning och har kodats och analyserats med hjälp av Grundad Teori.

Examensprojektet MindMe har genomförts i samarbete med Niclas Jarhäll på Mutual Benefits AB, i Göteborg. Mutual Benefits AB är ett konsultbolag som levererar tekniska konsulttjänster och produkter. Detta projekt ämnar resultera i ett minneshjälpmedel avsett för personer med en kognitiv funktionsnedsättning som har medfört en nedsatt minnesfunktion. Projektet har inriktat sig på ADHD och Förvärvade hjärnskador. Projektgruppen genomförde i ett tidigt skede en studie som fann ett uttalat behov av ett minneshjälpmedel inom just dessa grupper.

Det är oerhört viktigt, i synnerhet på en konkurrensutsatt marknad, att använda sig av lojalitetsfrämjande åtgärder som sticker ut och skiljer sig från mängden. Lojalitetsåtgärderna ska vara av en sådan art att de inte ska kunna kopieras av konkurrenter. Med benämningen ?Social Lojalitet? kombineras ickemonetära belöningar som incitament för att skapa en sant lojal kund, med funktionell kvalitet samt kundens egna sociala nätverk..

The purpose of this study was to examine social workers working process in social assistance with focus on the child´s perspective. We were interested in learning about the existence of variations in approach and attitude between two municipalities. Question to be answered about what methods and approaches used by social workers to include the child´s perspective in the process of social assistance. Another question to be answered about what the manner in which social workers took into account the child´s perspective when the families apply for social assistance in relation to the operations and requirement. To fulfill the purpose, qualitative methods were used.

Background: Corporations are established and organized in order to create economic values for their owners and the main aim of every business enterprise is to be profitable and satisfy the financial expectations of their shareholders. However, corporate social responsibility focuses on the ethical aspects of corporate business in order to achieve the balance between the profitability and social responsibility. Nongovernmental organizations through their activities promote the respect for human rights and environmental care within the corporate world. Purpose and Scope: To make an in-depth study about the role of nongovernmental organizations regarding corporate social responsibility in order to increase the understanding of corporate social responsibility. Methodology: We used literature research for our thesis and we analysed the secondary data related to the corporate social responsibility.

Studien berör något som från olika håll uppfattas som ett ökande problem - flickor som skär sig. Studiens syfte var att genom en kvalitativ studie med intervju som metod undersöka tre kuratorers, på tre olika ungdomsmottagningar, kunskaper och förståelse av självskadebeteende bland flickor. Studien berör också kuratorernas uppfattning om bra bemötande av dessa flickor, arbetsmetoder samt om det pågår någon preventiv verksamhet på de tre aktuella ungdomsmottagningarna.Beteendet förstås som ett symptom på en problematik som grundlagts under flickornas uppväxt och förstås då ofta vara kopplat till problematiska familjerelationer. Att skära sig uppfattas främst som ett sätt att reducera ångest, ett sätt att omvandla den psykiska smärtan till en fysisk mer konkret.Då självskadebeteende vanligen förenat med skam, är en tillåtande atmosfär och att ta flickorna på allvar är essentiellt i bra bemötande. Det finns inga klara riktlinjer för kuratorernas arbetsmetoder men grunden för kuratorernas arbete är främst psykodynamisk och kognitiv teori.

The law (1988:870) concerning care of substance abusers is constructed in a way that gives the social workers room to interpret and apply the law individually. This may contribute to differences in treatment between female and male substance abusers. The purpose of the essay was to investigate whether the client's gender had any significance to how the social worker interpret and apply the law (LVM).The specific questions we worked around were:- What significance does the client's gender have in the decision-making?- Does the social worker's opinion about the law have any significance?- What factors can effect the social worker's interpretation and application of the law?- What importance do the social workers attach to prevailing norms about men and women when they interpret and apply the law?We chose to use a qualitative method to answer the above questions. Six social workers were interviewed and 39 LVM sentences were analysed.

I denna uppsats utforskas det narrativa perspektivet som ett möjligt analytiskt grepp för att komma åt maktstrukturer, där erkännandet av identiteter analyseras som en upplevd domän av dominans. Uppsatsen inleds med en utveckling av begreppet diskursiv makt, vilket görs genom användande av Steven Lukes teori om maktens tredje ansikte. Följande därpå diskuteras hur man med hjälp av det narrativa greppet kan förstå makten som reglerar berättandet av jaget. Denna makt ses som påvisad då teman i metanarrativ och framträder som reproducerade i konkreta narrativ. Resonemanget klargörs genom en diskussion om republikanismen som ett metanarrativ, vilket relateras till hur maktutövning genom erkännandet kan ta sig uttryck..

Idag finns social och emotionell träning (SET) som ett särskilt ämne på en del skolor med egna tilldelade timmar på schemat. Det vi ställt oss frågande till är vad det är som gör att vi har tagit in social och emotionell träning som ett eget ämne på schemat i grundskolans tidigare år och vi frågar oss även om det behövs särskilda lektioner för detta? Genom att intervjua tre lärare och tio elever samt att göra observationer under dessa lektioner har vi försökt finna svaren på våra frågor..

Uppsatsens övergripande syfte var att undersöka möjliga mönster av social ångest och dess relation till depressiva symtom och livstillfredsställelse. Social ångest innebär lidande för många människor och medför rädsla för situationer där det finns risk att granskas, att få uppmärksamhet samt att bli bedömd för sina prestationer. Social ångest karakteriseras av undvikande beteende men indikationer finns att det även existerar en atypisk undergrupp av social ångest som uppvisar ett impulsivt beteende. Självskattningsformulär har använts vid datainsamlingen och urvalet bestod av unga vuxna i åldern 20-24 år. Resultaten analyserades genom klusteranalys och indikerade att en atypisk impulsiv grupp med social ångest existerade samt att kön modererar graden av depressiva symtom. .
