This study aims to further Work-family conflict research for Social Workers by providing insight into what kind of impact the job role of social workers in Sweden has on their private lives and how they deal with it. The study operates from a qualitative approach and is based on three focus group-interviews and three semi-structured interviews with people working in different fields of social work. The empirical material has been analyzed through the Dramaturgical Perspective and Frame concept of Erving Goffman. The results of this study show that the job role impacts the psychological well-being of social workers, their family life and their social life to varying degrees, mainly due to organizational and client-based aspects, often resulting in role-conflicts and a lack of energy in their private lives. The primary strategies were found to be conversing with colleagues, spending time alone, embracing hobbies and having a clear understanding of individual responsibility. .

Family centres are established to serve families with children and the personnel usually consists of units of social-workers, preschool staff, paediatric nurses and midwives. The purpose of the study was to examine the social-workers preventive work with families at the family centre. To fulfil the purpose, a qualitative interview with five social-workers was conducted. The theoretical framework referred to attachment and empowerment theory. The results of the study showed that the main part of the work consists of giving advice and support to parents.

Social insatsgrupp är en strukturerad samverkan mellan i första hand polis, socialtjänst och skola med målen att förhindra nyrekrytering av ungdomar till kriminella grupperingar samt att underlätta avhopp från kriminella grupperingar. The aim of this study was to describe how male social workers who work in the section for children and family in one municipality in southern Sweden, experience that their gender influences their daily work. The main focus is to understand what it means to be a man in the social services department. The first research question was how the male social workers experienced how their gender influenced their contact with children and parents in terms of possibilities and obstacles. The second research question was how the male social workers experienced how their gender influenced their working place in terms of possibilities and obstacles. The third research question was how the male social workers experienced that their gender affected the work with women colleagues.

För att skapa fler jobbtillfällen och driva på BNP-tillväxten i Sverige krävs det att små och medelstora företag får möjligheten att utvecklas och växa. För att klara det krävs det mer kapital från venture capital-marknaden, som är den viktigaste källan av finansiering för ett nystartat företag. Det har dock varit tuffa år för venture capital-bolagen sedan finanskrisen slog till. Den problemformulering som legat till grund för studien var följande:Hur har finanskrisen och den pågående eurokrisen påverkat venture capital-bolagens investeringsprocess?Studien syftade till att undersöka hur finanskrisen och den pågående skuldkrisen i Europa påverkat de svenska venture capital-bolagen och dess marknad.

BAKGRUND De senaste åren har regelverken för banksektorn blivit allt mer omfattande. Regelverket Basel III ställer ökade krav på bankerna gällande såväl kapital som likviditet, och det är i stort sett samma regelverk som gäller för storbanker som för små sparbanker. Sparbanker är en intressant associationsform med en lång historia och de har ofta mycket stor betydelse för de orter där de är verksamma.SYFTESyftet med denna rapport är att undersöka hur sparbanker i Kalmar län upplever det ökade regelverk som har införts för banker under de senaste åren. I syftet ingår även att undersöka vilka konkreta förändringar som införandet av Basel III har lett till i sparbankernas verksamhet samt om sparbankerna kan leva upp till de ökade kraven.METODDetta är en kvalitativ studie som bygger på personliga intervjuer med representanter från fyra sparbanker i Kalmar län samt en intervju med en representant från Sparbankernas riksförbund. Studien har ett hermeneutiskt synsätt och studiens resultat är därför präglat av hur jag som uppsatsförfattare har tolkat intervjupersonerna. REFERENSRAMDetta kapitel innehåller ett resonemang kring finansiella regelverk och kriser samt en beskrivning av Knutsen och Sjögrens kriscykelmodell.

Bakgrund: Den första januari 2005 övergår Sverige till att redovisa enligt IAS/IFRS. IFRS 2 behandlar aktierelaterade ersättningar och innebär att dessa ersättningar skall redovisas som en kostnad i resultaträkningen med eget kapital som motkonto. Reglerna skall appliceras retroaktivt i syfte att skapa ett jämförelse år i redovisningen varför IFRS 2 även får effekter på 2004 års redovisning.Syfte: Kartlägga de ekonomiska effekterna av IFRS 2 på 2004 års resultat och eget kapital, samt att undersöka hur utvecklingen av nytecknade aktierelaterade ersättningsprogram sett ut sedan 1999. Studien kommer även att undersöka hur utvalda företags inställning till aktierelaterade ersättningsprogram har påverkats till följd av IFRS 2.Metod: I studien har dels en surveyundersökning av kvantitativ karaktär genomförts för att studera samtliga företag på Stockholmsbörsens A-lista. En fallstudie av kvalitativ karaktär har även genomförts på tre av dessa företag.Resultat/Analys: 16 av de totalt 53 studerade företagen påverkas ekonomiskt av IFRS 2.

The purpose with the essay was to study the school and the social welfare personnel respectively along with their perspectives and views on their collaboration in the work with socially exposed children and how the collaboration was formed.To get answers to my questions, I interviewed three teachers and three social welfare secretaries. The questions and the analysis were divided into themes: the collaboration between school and social services now and in the future, development of collaboration, and facilitation and difficulties.When analysing the interviews I found a consensus in some questions. All interviewed agreed on the importance of collaboration for the welfare of the child through continuous meetings. The relationship and dialogue between school and social services was vital. Both teachers and social welfare secretaries found it essential not to be seen as a hidden authority.

The purpose of this essay was a follow-up of four female drug abusers with several mental problems ten years after my initial meeting with them at Korsaröds Behandlingshem. Using a qualitative method and interviews with the women, knowledge was obtained regarding their current vital conditions and their subjective experiences of the treatment at Korsaröd. Their perspective on the ethical as well as their desired relationship with staff within social services was also accounted for. When contacted the women lived a content and drug free life in their own flats. The women stayed at Korsaröd approximately five years, and they said that without the treatment they would not be alive today.

This study discloses the responsibility of social work for the Swedish welfare state respective deacons in the Swedish protestant church, which roll the Swedish protestant church have in the existent welfare and also if deacons experience any expectations and how these expectations in that case are expressed.The aim of this study was to investigate the relationbetween deacons working within the Swedish protestant church and social work, as it appears for professional deacons. The method of investigating the questions raised by the aim of this study has been qualitative analysis of answers derived from six deacons working in different workplaces. The data derived from these interviews was then analysed through the theory of Gösta Esping-Andersen about welfare states and also through background research and earlier science research about the social work within the Swedish protestant church and other social work. The result of the study show that the welfare state in Sweden has the comprehensive responsibility for the citizens. Deacons working within the Swedish protestant church does not have the same responsibility.

We live in a society that has changed rapidly in recent years. The Swedish welfare state identity consisted of structures that had been formed from an emancipatory project. Today, these structures seem to have been erased and replaced by a different form of society. When a society is changing it affects the political, social and economic levels.In this social change Social Democracy seems to have lost its hegemonic position in society and describes itself as standing in a crisis. An effort to modernize the party has therefore begun.

It is an effective way to reach out to consumers and establish a good relationship with existing customers. Most companies today use digital media in order to market themselves and to establish good public relations. A lot of those companies have also realized the enormous marketing capabilities that social media provides. However, in spite of the plethora of possibilities that comes with social media it can also, in some cases, hinder the companies ? success.

This thesis concerns the subject of social media in the internal communication, how it can function to improve the communication among the coworkers. Good Old has been the web agency of our case study, through them we have gained understanding of the phenomenon. Media and communication theories and interviews have given us the foundation of the thesis.Our conclusion shows that it is beneficial to use social media internally in the type of company that Good Old is. Furthermore, the result shows that it can improve the communication, increase organizational learning and unity among coworkers. Finally social media can make organizations more effective..
