Our main aim with this study is to shed a light over the social workers opinions about what they believe will be the consequences of introducing Housing First in the city of Stockholm. We wanted to examine the social workers perceptions about how Housing First could change their client?s autonomy and justice. Therefor we accomplished five qualitative interviews with social workers. We analyzed our empirical material with the theoretical terms; justice, autonomy and intern role-conflict.

This paper describes how files and information can be shared in organisations and workplaces. We studied and compared the traditional file sharing in Microsoft Active Directory and the Social file sharing that comes with Microsoft SharePoint Sites. We used qualitative studies based on interviews with system administrators, management and by our own observations to acquire the necessary data. Using independent research, we were able to analyze the data and show the general difference between the traditional and the social file sharing systems. Social file sharing enables the user to easily store and share files in a flexible online environment.

    The purpose of this essay is to examine trust, or lack of trust, in the social services. Previous research considering this topic is limited, which, in our point of view, implies the need of further studies. A quantative method was used, consisting of an online questionnaire containing statements about the social services. The statements were designed using a five level Likert-scale which required the respondent to rate their level of agreement. The questionnaire was published on five webcommunities directed to parents.

Bakgrund: Svårläkta venösa bensår har inverkan på den äldres hela levda kropp. För många äldre som drabbas av sjukdom innebär detta ett mer begränsat fortsatt liv. Begräsningarna påverkar individen både psykiskt och fysiskt. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa hur äldres livsvärld påverkas av venösa bensår. Metod: Studien utfördes som en kvalitativ litteraturstudie med sju artiklar som grund. Artiklarna analyserades med hjälp av innehållsanalys inspirerad av Graneheim och Lundman (2004).

Att drabbas av schizofreni kan leda till konsekvenser som innebär att upplevelsen av livskvalitet drastiskt förändras. Syftet med studien var att belysa faktorer som påverkar upplevelsen av livskvalitet bland personer som drabbats av schizofreni, och som vårdas inom en öppenvård. Metoden var en kvalitativ litteraturstudie med sju vetenskapliga artiklar. Datamaterialet analyserades och granskades med hjälp av en manifest innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade på fyra faktorer som kan påverka den drabbades upplevelse av livskvalitet: Sjukdomens uttryck och behandling, Stigma, Social förlust och Stöd.

The purpose of this paper was to examine social workers' experiences of integration of unaccompanied children. We aimed to study which factors in the individual and the community social workers experience affect the integration and how they, based on their understanding, work to promote integration. The essay has a phenomenological approach and focuses on the social workers' own experiences of the phenomenon. The empirical data was obtained from qualitative interviews conducted with five social workers, all administrators in cases involving unaccompanied children. The result shows that the social workers feel that the desire to integrate is the most important presumption that must be present in the unaccompanied children.

What Places Adolescents and Adults, Respectively, in Need of Social Assistance? A Qualitative Study of How Social Workers Whom Administrate Financial Assistance for Adolescents and Adults, Respectively, Describe Reasons Behind the Need of Social Assistance Amongst Their ClientsThe purpose of this essay was to study and compare how social workers whom administrate social assistance for adolescents and adults, respectively, describe reasons behind the need of social assistance amongst their clients. This was done due to the use of qualitative interviews with a total of six social workers. Of these six, three administrated social assistance for adolescents while the other three did the same for adults. Prior research of poverty attribution greatly inspired this essay.

The purpose with this essay was to study how the social work is shaped in the methadone programme and how the staffs treat and work with the social integration for the patients.We have studied the experience of a medical assisted treatment from two different treatment clinics and focused on their treatment programme. We have chosen to focus on the social aspect but we have also been taking part of the medical treatment - the methadone. In order to get a bigger picture of our problem area we also studied how Sweden's narcotic politic is constructed and how a narcotic life could look like before the entrance in the program. This thesis is a study of social movements and their possibilities to effect politics by infuencing values in society through framing. I've looked upon social movements from a functionalistic-structuralistic perspective, as if they were carriers of values from people that otherwise won't be represented in the political life. The values that the social movements are struggling for can affect both the opinion and the decision-makers since the social movements in an active way are trying ti influence the society. The thesis examines the political opportunities that social movements hav to mobilise and grow. I have looked at different factors that either improve or make the political opportunities worse.

The purpose of this paper was to discuss stigma and stigmatisation in relation to social policy and social work. By discussing welfare systems in social policy I wanted to see if there could be any connection between social policy and stigma. I used case studies of hearing impaired adults to give examples of how the stigma processes work. By connecting the stigma and the social policy theories with the case studies I wanted to see how the social policy could affect the stigma processes or vice versa.In the paper the concept of stigma has been described and discussed, foremost using the theories of Erving Goffman. I have also discussed the welfare system and the connection between residual systems and stigma.

Bakgrund: När människor drabbas av venösa bensår kan vardagen drastiskt förändras. Ett stort antal individer drabbas av bensår och incidensen ökar med åldern. För att kunna ge en god omvårdnad behöver vårdpersonalen ökade kunskaper för att förstå bensårens inverkan på individens dagliga liv. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur det är att leva med venösa bensår. Metod: Studien utfördes som en allmän litteraturstudie.

Perifer vaskulär insufficiens innebär arteriell och/eller venös cirkulationssvikt i nedre extremiteter, vilket kan förorsaka bensår. Vaskulär insufficiens i benen är ett ökande hälsoproblem som ofta är ett mycket smärtsamt tillstånd och kan ha stora konsekvenser för den drabbade i dennes dagliga liv. Litteraturöversikt valdes som metod för att besvara syftet; att beskriva forskning om patienters upplevelser av hur perifer vaskulär insufficiens i de nedre extremiteterna påverkar det dagliga livet. Detta utifrån Carnevalis omvårdnadsteori om dagligt liv funktionellt hälsotillstånd. Stora inskränkningar i dagligt liv på grund av sjukdomen identifierades i litteraturen.

I uppsatsen intervjuas: samordnare, metodutvecklare och boendestödjare om sin syn på social dokumentation och om hur arbetet går till på deras arbetsplats. Social dokumentation handlar om att dokumentera vid handläggning och vid genomförande inom verksamheter styrda enligt SoL, LSS, LVU och LVM. Uppsatsens syfte är att visa på olika sätt att se på den sociala dokumentationen inom fältet boendestöd och att exemplifiera vad social dokumentation kan vara. Resultatet visar att social dokumentation sker i ett sammanhang och variationen mellan olika boendestöd är stor. Uppsatsen exemplifierar olika aspekter av dokumentationen genom att beskriva dokumentationen med beslut, genomförandeplan, uppföljning av insats, förbättringsåtgärder och visa på den sociala dokumentationens potential..

How do you do co-operation between government agencies? It is a wide spread view that there can be quite a few hitches in co-operation between agencies. In later years this idea has spread to the media where there has been negative coverage of the social service agencies. This generally applies to cases where children suffer because the right assistance takes too long to co-ordinate or does not get co-ordinated at all between schools, healthcare and social services. The social welfare law dictates that it is the social welfare office duty to co-ordinate the government agencies for the child?s best interest.
