The purpose of this qualitative study has been; how social bonds are interlaced between the social worlds contained within the analytical division of ?outside Internet? and ?within Internet?. What happens with the social bond as the individual oscillate between this analytic bisection? This purpose raises important questions of the use of Internet in everyday life.A new stance is taken toward studying the Internets integration into everyday life. The focus is adjusted to the importance of emotions.

In 2002 the Norrköping municipality decided to establish a number of supportive teams and one teaching group with the purpose of developing alternative supporting efforts for children with social problems. This development work came to be called BUSS. BUSS today consists of four local teams, team Ett, team Norra, team Torpet and the Mathson School.The teams? focus, beyond the commission from Norrköping municipality, is to reduce the number of children being placed outside their own homes, get them to function in school, develop their self-confidence and social competence. Also their task is to support parents and take up a functional spare time for the children.

My main purpose for this paper was to find out what the four teachers I interviewed thought about the design of their classroom and how they linked that to pedagogy, pupils learning and policy documents. I also wanted to find out if classroom design were something they discuss and reflects on in the college.My questions for this study were: What do some teachers who work in the early ages in the school think about the classroom design? Do these teachers link the classroom design to policy documents or pedagogy? Do these teachers consider classroom design to be something that should be discussed in the same way as other factors (for example teaching aids, resources etc.) within the college?My method was to make qualitative interviews with four teachers, analyze their answers and link them to my main theories and research in the area of the study. My main theories were multimodal communication, which means that there are several systems of signs in communication, which all have an essential function for the meaning of the communicated. It also means that learning happens both individually and socially and that school is a social construction, and that the system of opportunities and boundaries in which it takes form is mediated within our multimodal systems.

Social medias användningsområde har under de senaste åren ökat. Från att till enbörjan användas av privatpersoner till att nu även vara en del av flertalet företag.Tekniken kan skapa nya tillfällen att synas, skapa kundrelationer samt kommunikationsmöjligheter. Det finns olika syften med att använda social mediamen värdet kommer inte från plattformen i sig utan från hur den används. För attett företag ska använda social media kan det finnas anledning att acceptera och varamedvetna om att kritik riktat till företaget offentliggörs. Forskning pekar på attföretag förväntas bemöta åsikter, uppfattningar och upplevelser från konsumenter.Dock saknas tydlig vetskap om hur eller på vilket sätt.

Syftet med denna studie var att granska handläggarens handlingsutrymme vid genomförandet av en BBIC (barns behov i centrum) utredning. För att utröna hur stort handlingsutrymme handläggaren har i arbetet med de olika delarna av BBIC genomfördes en kvalitativ innehållsanalys av BBIC-triangeln. Tre teoretiska perspektiv användes för att analysera reultatet; symbolisk interaktionism, social konstruktivism och teorier om byråkrati. Innehållsanalysen resulterade i tre teman som symboliserar tre olika grader av handlingsutrymme som vi fann vid analysen av BBIC-triangeln. Det första temat var "Faktorer som kan komma att skapa missförhållanden".

Denna uppsats syfte är att beskriva och ge ökad förståelse för unga kvinnors upplevelser och erfarenheter av sexuella handlingar samt hur individen uppfattar och internaliserar normer och hur normerna och upplevelserna påverkar individens identitetsutvecklingen. Uppsatsen utgår ifrån ett socialpsykologiskt perspektiv med avstamp i symbolisk interaktionism (Mead, 1976), fenomenologi (Kvale, 1997) och socialkonstruktionism(Gergen, 1999). Den övergripande frågeställning är: På vilket sätt upplever kvinnor, i åldern 20-30 år, sexuella handlingar med sig själv och med partner/partners och hur förhåller sig dessa handlingar till varandra samt hur upplever de att genus-, kropps- och sexualitetsnormer bidrar till deras uppfattning om sig själva som individer? Teoretiker som Mead (1976), Berg (1992), Lundin (2009) och Berger och Luckmann (1979) har använts som verktyg för att förklara Självets utveckling samt socialisation. Connell (2003) och Ferguson (1980) har använts för att problematisera genus och Johansson (1999), Mead (1976) och Berger och Luckmann (1979) rör kroppen teoretiskt.

The aim of this study is to illustrate, and analyze how social workers are able to more effectively pursue operative possibilities within their own particular organizations. The main question concerning this issue is: How are social workers, working within the same district organization able to realise any potential for co-operation with other social workers, in different locales and units, yet working within the same organization? Syftet med detta arbete är att beskriva och analysera individers deltagande i det som här kallas Projekt Prehab, som innebär en av Folkuniversitetet anordnad förberedande insats för arbetslivsinriktad rehabilitering. Frågeställningar i arbetet är vad det innebär för den enskilda individen att delta i Projekt Prehab, samt hur medverkan kan påverka nästa steg i rehabiliteringen. Utifrån kvalitativa intervjuer med sex deltagare och två coacher, har jag försökt besvara forskningsfrågorna. Det empiriska materialet har analyserats utifrån begrepp från karriärvalsteorin Careership: brytpunkt, tid av rutin och handlingshorisont. Analysen grundas också på begrepp från den sociologiska riktningen symbolisk interaktionism: social interaktion och rollövertagande, samt begreppen begriplighet och meningsfullhet som ingår i sociologen Antonovskys teori om individens känsla av sammanhang.

This paper discusses runic inscriptions from the middle ages on Gotland and how they portray social structure. It focuses on three themes: (1) fixed time and space, (2) women and the nuclear family and (3) profession and social status/structure. It also discusses changes brought on by a more structured and established Christianity, as well as differences between medieval rune stones on Gotland and their predecessors Viking Age rune stones in the Mälar Valley..

The purpose of this paper is to find more understanding for pupils in compensatory educational situations and get an idea about how they place themselves in the social hierarchy. In my study I have interviewed four pupils with different experiences from school with the common denominator of being placed in a special class during some hours of the week. The purpose of this placement is to get them to achieve better results in various subjects depending on their grade but this also means a social separation from friends in the ordinary class and this doesn't correspond well with the democratic idea of "one school for all".What I found was that these pupils categorize themselves different from each other and while two of the pupils find themselves very included in the school's social network the remaining two had problems functioning satisfactory in a social matter according to their own liking. The feeling of exclusion though can not be connected to their participation in the special class but rather to their earlier social experiences..

This study explores the different effects on attitude and behaviour three frequently used advertising techniques have. The techniques compared are social influence and egoistic and altruistic benefit-appeals. The results showed that ads featuring social influence had statistically significant higher mean values regarding attitude towards the ad compared to both the other ads, and significantly higher mean values regarding brand attitude compared to the ad appealing to egoistic motivations. Though, all advertising effectiveness measures used in this study - that is, attitude and intention variables - indicated that social influence was more effective than the other advertising messages. Thus, in accord with earlier studies, it can be stated with confidence that social influence is an effective tool to use in marketing communications..

The aim of this study is to examine what social workers consider as ?challenging behaviour? among adolescents, but also to examine the connection between investigation and intervention in cases where such behaviour is being displayed. The questions of the study are to examine what social workers think of the instrument of assessment BBIC (Children?s Needs in Focus) and how the usage of BBIC affect social workers understanding of challenging behaviour. Moreover, it is a qualitative study and the respondents are all social workers with various length of professional experience who work with making decisions in juvenile welfare cases.

The purpose with this study is to enlighten and discuss the information and communication which is spreading through social media, about the tourist operators and also to examine the operators view on social media. Social media can be described as a tool to use word of mouth on the Internet. To make this possible, five actors involved in tourism were picked on Gotland and interviewed for a content analysis. The results showed that the use of social media as an information channel before the consumer buys a trip, has increased. The study also shows that the selected actors have a lot of work to do, before they understand how to use the social media in their best interest for further developing their companies.

The aim of this study is to through six interviews, with six experienced, social workers?, in three cities, understand how the child?s position in the Swedish child protective services? enquiries has change, and the factors behind it. The aim is also to compare if the social workers? view of the child?s position in the enquire has change accordingly to Socialstyrelsens intentions of BBIC. The theoretical approaches that was used is the new institutionalism, the Shier?s pathways to participation and the term discretion.
