The purpose of this study was to examine how social work professionals view their professional role and how they think about the concept of social work. I also wanted to investigate what they believe characterize a professional social work. For the purposes of this study, I chose a qualitative approach in which I interviewed five people linked to the social work. The theories which I have assumed in the analysis of the results are power theory, organization theory and professional theory. The results of this study show that the respondents believe that a professional social work is performed by someone who has training and experience in the field.

Social sustainability is often regarded as a solution to social problems in general. In this study, on the contrary, social sustainability is conceived as a socially constructed concept and the result of a certain way of looking at the world, the human being and the ideal society. The study centers around Kinda municipality in the southern region of Östergötland and a few of its elder inhabitants. What meaning and substance social sustainability is contained with as well as the effects that are produced by these conceptualizations is explored and analyzed. Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur undervisning drivs när man har elever med diagnosen autism i klassen och pedagogers syn på hur de arbetar för att inkludera dessa elever. Syftet är också att undersöka om klassrumsmiljön på skolan spelar en särskild stor roll för elever med autism. De frågeställningar som vi har använt oss av är: Hur arbetar pedagogerna med elever som har diagnosen autism? Vad anser de vara av betydelse för att dessa elever ska kunna inkluderas i klassrumsarbetet? Undersökningen i detta arbete bygger på två kvalitativa metoder. Vi har använt oss av metoderna observation och intervju.

The purpose of this study was to enlighten the views of male social work students on; the social work profession, social work status and their career options. Also, the study aimed at getting these students angles of approach on the fact that they, being men, are a minority group within the profession of social work. Some of the main questions were: Why does not social work as a profession seem to attract men? What about the status of the profession of social work? What were the thoughts of male social work students about this? What advantages or disadvantages did they recognise, being a minority in the profession? The method used in this study was doing separate interviews. All of the interviewed students were convinced that they had a better chance of getting a job.

In Sweden the social assistance from a historical perspective, has been a part of the social legislation, since the 18th century. In that time called poor relief. Through the centuries this has established the social assistance we have today. With focus on the child, we have attempted to illustrate how the social workers consider the child perspective when they are dealing with the social assistance. We wanted to get a view of how the social worker reasons about needs the children have and how they can see that the benefit has been provided for.

The aim of this study was to enlighten social workers experiences of social networks direct influence in Swedish social services, and in which ways those influences are manifested. Some of the issues that are being explored in this study are: The separation of the private sphere and professional duties; boundaries and dual relationships that occurs inside social networks; the use of social networks as a control-instrument in authority exercise towards clients; and social networks arising impact on social work. The empirical material was collected with nine qualitative interviews with social workers stationed at different social service departments in a Swedish municipality. Also one qualitative e-survey was sent out to, and answered by four social workers with a managerial position in the same municipality.The results reveal that several informants have experienced different problematic situations involving clients within the social networks. This study shows that the informants are very restrictive with what information (text and pictures) they publish on their facebook-profiles, because of their position of authority and the awareness of the possibility of always being watched.

Today, social media is used mostly by people in their private life. However, companies are more and more tapping into the area of social media. To this date, mostly B2C companies have been successful in their social media strategies. This qualitative thesis aims to investigate how B2B companies can benefit from using social media as a means to communicate and build relations with their customers. The medtech industry has been chosen as the object of study.Through depth interviews with people in the medtech industry and social media experts, data has been collected in order to answer the questions of (1) how ready customers in the medtech industry are to receive information through social media and (2) how companies can build the best possible social media strategy.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka huruvida social konflikt kan verka främjande för samhället, samt att titta på de orsaker som gör att konflikten på Nordirland vidmakthålls. Detta har utförts genom en litteraturstudie av teorier utvecklade av Coser, Simmel och Merton.Slutsatser jag har dragit utifrån denna studie är bland annat att social konflikt i detta fall, parallellt med de nedbrytande faktorerna, också kan verka för en gynnande samhällsutveckling på vissa områden..

Syfte:Syftet med studien är att ta reda på eller belysa hur några ungdomars framtidsdrömmar, för-väntningar, visioner och önskemål har infriats ? från det att de slutade gymnasiesärskolan för ett eller två sedan till dags datum.? I vilken mån upplever de att drömmarna eller förväntningarna har infriats?? Hur beskriver ungdomarna övergången från skolan till arbetslivet?? Vilka hinder och möjligheter framträder i deras utsagor?? Hur upplever de att den yrkes- och arbetslivsförberedande processen på gymnasie-särskolan har fungerat? Teori:Studien använder sig av fenomenologiska livsvärldsberättelser som tolkats utifrån ett herme-neutiskt perspektiv. Metod: Fyra personer som slutade gymnasiesärskolan för ett respektive två år sedan har intervjuats med hjälp av halvstrukturerade livsvärldsintervjuer. Resultat:Deltagarnas upplevelser av brottet mellan skola och arbete är olika, men en gemensam erfa-renhet är skolans bristfälliga information om en framtida arbetsplats. I det här fallet steget från praktikplats till ett arbete.

Studiens syfte är att se till vilka anpassningsmöjligheter samt svårigheter det enligt pedagoger finns vid idrott med rullstolsburna elever. Under arbetet med studien har jag inspirerats av hermeneutiken. Det jag kom fram till i min studie var att det enligt pedagogerna finns svårigheter som kan skapa hinder för den rullstolsburna eleven, så som den befintliga miljön, pedagogers kompetens samt vissa aktiviteter.

Vi vill även undersöka arbetssätt och undervisningsmetoder i de båda länderna.Vilken inverkan har idrottslärarens tidigare erfarenhet och kunskap om funktionsnedsatta elever på deras undervisning av funktionsnedsatta elever i idrott och hälsa?Vilka tillvägagångssätt använder sig idrottslärare i Nya Zeeland och Sverige av vid undervisning av funktionsnedsatta elever i ämnet idrott och hälsa?Hur ser en lektion i idrott och hälsa ut i praktiken då funktionsnedsatta elever är med?MetodStudien har varit kvalitativ intervju för att ge en beskrivande bild av området och ge möjlighet att komma ner på djupet i ämnet. Detta har skett genom halvstrukturerade intervjuer med tre lärare i Sverige samt två lärare och en ansvarig för funktionsnedsatta barn i Nya Zeeland. Intervjuerna följde en intervjuguide och tog ca 30- 50 min, samt spelades in.

The purpose of the study is to contribute to the field of social access in children's free play in the pre-school class, by looking at how children are included and excluded and how power structures arises in the free time. In order to capture the events that occur among the children, observations were chosen as research method.The results show that the children wanted to play with each other, and that the most common way to facilitate play was to ask "Can I join?". There were also other strategies being practiced regularly. It was also common to exclude other children from playing, and this was especially when the children wanted to protect their ongoing game, or that someone was not allowed to join because he or she ruined it for the others.

This study examines the opinions of social workers regarding the social networks of people with a substance addiction. The intention was to get a more nuanced understanding of what characterizes a positive or negative social network, as well as which functions different types of social networks serve. Data were collected through qualitative interviews with seven social workers. More specifically the social workers were oriented towards working for social services with clients that struggle with substance abuse. The empirical material has been analyzed with a thematic analysis.

Syftet med denna studie är att skapa kunskap om elevers och lärares upplevelser och erfarenheter av att utforma undervisningen utifrån ett inkluderande perspektiv. Studien utgår ifrån en aktionsforskningsinsats som är gjord under en femveckorsperiod vårterminen 2015 tillsammans med fyra elever i årskurs nio med erfarenheter av undervisning i särskild undervisningsgrupp och en lärare. Aktionsforskningsinsatsen ?Ett förändrat arbetssätt i praktiken? handlade om att genom ett förändrat arbetssätt skapa möjligheter för dessa elever att deltaga i undervisningen i klassrummet.Metoden som används i studien är kvalitativa halvstrukturerade direkt intervjuer. Metoden valdes för att eleverna och lärarens upplevelser och erfarenheter skall kunna återges med en god detaljrikedom.
