Behandlingsstudien gällande individuell KBT-behandling för social fobi genomfördes på en allmänpsykiatrisk öppenvårdsmottagning. I studien ingick 22 individer som alla uppfyllde kriterierna för social fobi enligt DSM-IV. Antalet sessioner planerades bli 15 stycken, med viss flexibilitet gällande individuella skillnader. Mätningar gjordes före och efter behandlingen. Som utvärderingsmått har använts SPS, SIAS, FNE, BDI, BAI, CSQ-8, gällande diagnostisk bedömning har använts ADIS-IV.

Our paper is targeting mainly students, but also all other people interested in social work with children. The purpose of our study was to investigate how the social workers experience and handle their work with children, who have been exposed to sexual abuse, and what kind of support and guidance the social workers are offered, in order to handle their working situation. We chose to perform a qualitative study, by the use of interviews, since we found it to be the most appropriate way to gather the information. Our conclusion is that the work with these issues is emotionally burdensome and requires a great commitment, however it is essential for the social workers to maintain a certain distance to their work, in order not to influence their personal lives. It is through experience and knowledge that the social workers learn how to handle their working situation.

This study means to research the importance and significance of the social and informal learning opportunities offered at a workplace. With Wenger?s theory about social learning and communities of practice as a starting point, this study will create understanding about how teachers at a school comprehend their opportunities for learning within the teacher community. The study is conducted at an independent school in Sweden, and is based on interviews with eight of the teachers employed at the school. The purpose of the study was to research how employees perceive how their social interactions with their colleagues can create learning, and what obstacles they might face along the way.

I denna uppsats undersöker jag hur tonalitetsbegreppet uppfattas och används av medarbetare på NCC, och hur begreppet relaterar till det diskursanalytiska begreppet stil. Mitt material består av intervjuer med medarbetare på NCC och fyra säljande webbtexter från NCC:s webbplats. Jag tillämpar diskursanalys som metod i min analys av intervjuerna och diskursanalytisk stilanalys som metod för webbtexterna. Resultatet visar att diskursen om tonalitet innehåller många olika uppfattningar om begreppet och vad syftet med kommunikationen är, men att stil som identitet och Faircloughs modell för stilanalys ändå kan vara ett värdefullt analysverktyg för att förstå och analysera det som avses med tonalitet. För att täcka in alla aspekter som avses med tonalitet på NCC bör dock fler analyskategorier användas..

Swedish and international research indicate that many measures made by social services, concerning children and adolescents who are taken from their homes to an institution, are interrupted prematurely for different reasons. The word "breakdown" is used when a measure granted by the social service is broken before the projected time has passed. Research concerning how social service employees are influenced by measures being interrupted prematurely is very limited. The aim of this qualitative study is to examine how social service employees in Malmö are influenced by the premature interruption, "breakdown", of measures concerning children and adolescents who are taken from their homes to an institution. The theoretic basis for the study is Symbolic interactionism, especially the theory of Stefan Morén concerning conditions for change.The study is based on interviews with social employees, relevant material from research in this field and an examination of the theoretical basis.

Studien belyser tvåspråkiga barns språkutveckling och lärande. Resultatet presenteras utifrån sex kvalitativa intervjuer av personal verksamma inom förskolan. Intervjuerna beskriver pedagogernas resonemang gällande tvåspråkighet hos barn samt vilka metoder de använder sig av för att stimulera och stödja tvåspråkiga barns språkutveckling och lärande. Resultaten av undersökningen visar att förskollärarna aktivt arbetar med tvåspråkiga barns språkutveckling och lärande. Förskollärarna lyfter upp modersmålets betydelse och anser att det är viktigt att barnen lär sig sitt första språk, då det är grunden för inlärning av andra språk.

Min uppsats har visat på black metal-stilens betydelse för fyra ungdomars identitetsskapande. Jag har med koppling till teoretiska infallsvinkar och begrepp rörande stilars och kulturers betydelse diskuterat black metal-kulturen med fokus på dess stilmässiga uttryck, dess symbolanvändande och dess innebörd för ungdomarnas självbild.I min studie har jag diskuterat och redogjort för hur black metal-kulturen kan te sig genom att förklara hur musiken låter och hur stilens uttryck i form av kläder och frisyrer kan se ut. Uppsatsen har visat på hur symboler och kodsystem används av ungdomarna inom ramen för kulturen för att markera och positionera sin identitet. Jag har i min studie även visat hur black metal-stilen kan vara ett existentiellt ställningstagande mot kommersialism och mainstreamkultur..

Syftet med studien är att skapa en ökad förståelse inom berörda yrkes- och studentgrupper för hur individer, som blivit rullstolsburna senare i livet, upplever sin identitet och eventuella identitetsförändringar. Resultatet tolkades utifrån Anthony Giddens teorier om senmodernitet och identitet samt Peter L. Berger och Thomas Luckmanns kunskapssociologiska perspektiv. Den tidigare forskningen har berört funktionshinder och identitet utifrån olika aspekter, dock har inte syftet för denna studie behandlats i sin helhet i andra studier. Semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med sex stycken respondenter för att nå deras upplevelser.

This thesis examines young people's thoughts about their presence on social media. With asocial constructive approach the study focused on how young people think and act on socialmedia in relation to constructions of gender and normality. The analysis is based on fourgroup interviews with 13-year old boys and girls. The theoretical approach is based partly onsocial constructionism where discourses and ideas of normality are identified and analyzed.Erving Goffman's theory of social interaction was central to illustrate how young peoplepresents themselves based on the prevailing discourses. It is clear that they adjust theirrepresentations of themselves depending on the context.

Från att ha varit en exotisk liten religion som har fört en tynande närvaro i södra Irak och Iran har mandeismen flyttat till västvärlden och däribland Sverige. När allt fler mandéer möter en ny kultur och ett nytt samhälle i Sverige påverkar det inte bara dem som individer utan även religionen mandeism. I denna uppsats har jag påbörjat att undersöka hur mandéer ser på sin identitet och religion. Jag har tagit min utgångspunkt i en bred teoretisk diskussion om identitet, religion och sekualisering. Mandeismen är en gnostisk religion som troligtvis har sina rötter i dagens Israel/Palestina och ser Johannes döparen som den sista profeten.

This thesis examines the relationship between recognition of prior learning and the aim to increase social and ethnical diversity in higher education. Recognition of prior learning is a result of educational politics aiming to broaden social and ethnical recruitment to higher education. By examining if recognition of prior learning rather can, and shall, be seen as part of what Pierre Bourdieu calls educational social reproduction I try to question whether it fulfils education policy goals or not. My results show that persons responsible for recognition of prior learning rather recognise knowledge from prior educational institutions than knowledge gained outside the educational system. Considering this, recognition of prior learning does not quite live up to the aims.

An individual's social capital consists largely of the social networks that may consist offamily, friends and acquaintances. The social network is of great significance on olderpeople's physical and mental health. Aim: The overall purpose is to examine the knowledgeof social network and the health of the elderly. Method: Litterature review, using threedifferent databases, CINAHL, PubMed and Scoupus for searching of articles, with differentcombinations of keywords. Results: Different types of social networks have both positive andnegative effects on health.

The purpose with this essay is to explore the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) within the food industry. We have decided to focus on how five different ethical labels are communicated towards students and the standpoint of the study is the students understanding of the communication. The labels that we have chosen to examine in the study are KRAV, Fairtrade, Svanen, Ekologiskt Jordbruk and Rainforest Alliance. The primary research question in the study is? How are the students purchase behavior affected by ethical labels in the food industry??.Throughout the study we will refer to CSR-products as products are stamped with one or several of the named ethical labels.

Kirch (2010) recently redefined the Hawaiian archipelago as a kingdom this essay will examine if the same can be done with the chiefdom of Tonga since it have similarities to the Hawaiian social organization.To do this the essay will examine and describe both the geographical organization of the states and the social organization.
