Gruppolarisering innebär att bl.a. social jämförelse leder till att isolerade grupper med likasinnade genererar mer extrema åsikter. Gruppolarisering på internet kan vara ett oroväckande fenomen för den deliberativa demokratin. Istället för att människor med konkurrerande ståndpunkter utbyter idéer och tankar med varandra samlas de i isolerade diskussionsforum på internet där social jämförelse i värsta fall kan utmynna i hattal och terrorism. Med netnografisk metod studeras här politiska diskussioner online i två olika typer av forum, ett politiskt och ett icke politiskt.

Social enterprises make up one of the groups of participants that provide welfare services financed by public funding. The object of this study is to describe and analyze from a theoretical point of view which conditions, in what fields, by which division of responsibility and finally through what decisions these social enterprises are allocated a place in the market for social welfare services. The company that has been the object of study offers services in the field of social welfare and in employment. In the study a triangulation of qualitative methods has been used: studies of literature on the subject, recurrent interviews and observations and also reviews of documents. The results have been analyzed from theories on the space available on the market for social services, on social economy and on social capital in the form of strong, weak and bridging bonds.

The purpose of this essay was to examine what Ungbo in Kalmar has meant for the adolescent from their point of view and to examine the social workers opinions of Ungbo.My questions were: What expectations did the adolescent and the social workers have on Ungbo? How has these expectations been fulfilled? What expectations does the social workers think the adolescents has on Ungbo? How is the impact of involvement for the adolescents when planning the living environment in Ungbo? What changes has Ungbo brought to the adolescent? What changes has Ungbo brought in the work of the social workers? What does Ungbo mean for the adolescent? What does Ungbo mean for the social workers and what experiences does the social workers have on the importance of Ungbo for the adolescents? How has the teamwork been working around the adolescent during the time at Ungbo?The questions were answered by asking four adolescents and two social workers with their experiences of Ungbo. My study showed that Ungbo was of importance for the adolescents that has been a part of the project, but it is also important in the work of the social workers. The adolescents noticed a change in them selves after their stay in Ungbo. The social workers were positive to Ungbo but they felt a need for others resembling activities in Kalmar..

Syftet med studien var att undersöka och ge olika beskrivningar av en grupp förskollärares uppfattningar av konflikter mellan barn och konflikthantering i förskolan.De frågeställningar som ställdes var följande: Vad anser en grupp utvalda förskollärare att en konflikt mellan barn karaktäriseras av? Vilka kommunikativa strategier uppfattar en grupp förskollärare att barn använder i deras konfliktsituationer? Hur gestaltas och hanteras konflikter i barngruppen utifrån en grupp förskollärares uppfattningar?Resultatet av studien visade på många olika uppfattningar om vad som är en konflikt och hur den bör hanteras. Konflikter har olika betydelse för förskollärarna. En del menar att barn ska lösa sina egna konflikter beroende på vilken typ av konflikt det är, medan andra anser att barnen behöver stöttning och hjälp i konflikthanteringen. Det finns många likheter mellan konflikthanteringsstilar och barns kommunikativa strategier samtidigt som flera andra aspekter såsom synen på hur barn agerar under konflikter kan återfinnas i tidigare forskning.

Abstrakt Social Engineering är konsten att manipulera människor, för att på så sätt vinna deras förtroende. Med hjälp av detta förtroende kan attackeraren sedan kringgå säkerhetssystem och få tillgång till organisationers information. Vi har i denna uppsats genomfört elva intervjuer på tre stora organisationer med både IT-chefer och övrig personal. Med dessa intervjuer har vi sedan försökt få en bild av hur medvetenheten ser ut samt vilka åtgärder organisationerna tar för att förhindra Social Engineering. Med denna uppsats vill vi belysa den ovisshet som råder kring Social Engineering, men även farorna och hur effektiv en attack av denna typ kan vara.

The aim of this essay was to investigate how social workers, within chosen Social services districts in the northwest of Skåne, work with children placed in foster care. Our purpose was to investigate the interaction between the child and the foster home from the perspective of the Ecology of Human Development. Our questions were:* How do the social worker prepare the child and the foster home before a placement?* What kind of support is offered to the foster home with the purpose of supporting the child?* How do the social worker make the childs contact with the biological parents easier?* To what degree does the social worker work on strengthening the child's network?* Which factors do the social worker decide the allocation of support?* What do the social worker think affects the work with the foster home from a society level?To answer our question we have interviewed nine social workers. We found that the social workers were generally good at perceiving how the micro- and meso-systems, and to a certain extent the exo-system, influenced the foster child.

Den lilla gruppen, stödundervisning, eller vad man nu kallar den är ett arbetssätt som en del skolor arbetar med för att ge barn i behov av extrastöd en lämplig form av undervisning. Den lilla gruppen bildas genom att elever från olika klasser samlas i ett särskilt undervisningsrum tillsammans med en lärare/pedagog/specialpedagog. Vilka är då de elever som placeras i den lilla gruppen och är dessa hjälpta av denna undervisningsform? I den undersökning jag genomförde genom intervjuer, fanns det två grupper av elever med svårigheter. Den ena gruppen bestod av elever med invandrarbakgrund och gick i liten grupp för att få svenskundervisning.

Many social services cases have been reviewed in the media during the last years. One of those cases is ?Lasse and Karin?, handled by the Social Services in Oskarshamn in 2002. Lasse and Karin had their son taken into custody by the Social Services and the case was reviewed in national media. Through this case the Social Services received much attention, of which most was negative, and their handling of the case was greatly criticized.

I uppsatsen undersöker vi vilken grupp av låg-, medel- och höginkomsttagare som kan tänkas gynnas mest av det nya pensionssystemet. Vi har gjort beräkningar för att få fram skattning av hur mycket respektive grupp kan tänkas få i pension i förhållande till sin slutlön beroende på hur man placerar sin premie- och tjänstepension. Utifrån dessa resultat har vi även undersökt vilken grupp som har störst nytta av att placera sin premie- och tjänstepension i låg- och högriskfonder. Undersökningen pekade på att ju lägre inkomst man har desto högre kompensationsgrad får man vid placering i högriskfonder. Däremot fick höginkomsttagarna störst nyttoökning av att placera sin pension i högriskfonder.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how five public libraries reason about the use of social media in their day-to-day work. This thesis aim to answer three research questions: What is the libraries use of social media today? How do libraries look upon their own use of social media? And have the libraries formulated any goals about their use of social media, and what are their thoughts on this? The methodology used in this thesis is a content analysis of the libraries social media and a questionnaire interview which was sent by mail to all of the libraries involved. The theoretical framework for the thesis is a model developed by Jochumsen, Hvenegaard Rasmussen and Skot-Hansen.The results of our study shows that the room of meetings, from the theoretical framework, are the most represented in the content of the social media used by the libraries. The libraries find that social media is a good way to connect and communicate with their users, but they feel that the time they spend on their social media is not enough.Our study also shows that most of the libraries have not formulated any goals for their use of social media, and that they do not have any intentions to do so..

The aim of this paper was to examine how social workers' comprehension of the need of financial aid exists in, and is influated by, the organisation they work in. To investigate this, we asked ourself questions concerning how the social worker view the way that the finicial aid-system and work surrounding it is formed, whether the social worker's understanding of the need of financial aid co-exists with the percieved common understanding of the work place (do the understandings coincide, do the social worker adjust his or her understanding or is it possible to have a separate understanding), whether the social worker feel that he or she have discretion to influence the organisation and how possible conflicts between different views are handled. We felt that a qualitative method would best help us answer these questions. We therefore interviewed seven social workers working in the same organisation. We then looked at our material from an organisational theory perspective, focusing on the individual in the organisation.We found that the social workers were socialised into the organisation and adapted the norms and values that existed there.

The purpose of this study is to use a qualitative approach to get an understanding of what is expected of social workers targeted towards women managers in social services. Nine social workers were interviewed. The empirical data was then analyzed on the basis of gender theory. Respondents did not see their supervisor as a manager but more as a social worker with special tasks. Our empirical data indicates that there is a strong belief that men and women possess different properties.

The purpose of this paper is to explore the social worker?s perspective on working for the government as a professional in care of children, in relation to the family's right to self determination. The essay's empirical material is gathered from qualitative, semi-structured interviews with social workers who work with children and youth in communities and districts in Skåne and Stockholm City, Sweden. The analysis was conducted in line with theories of social constructivism. The results and analysis show that the interviewed social workers did not believe that the state has too much power over the citizen.

Studier har visat att utrustningsorsakade munhåleskador är vanligt hos svenska rid- och travhästar i träning. Förekomst av utrustningsrelaterade skador på regelbundet ridna Islandshästar finns dock inte beskriven i litteraturen. Inte heller har ett tävlingsmoments eventuella inverkan på munhälsan hos hästar undersökts. Tre olika grupper av Islandshästar i olika rid/träningsstatus har undersökts. Grupp 1 bestod av tävlande hästar som precis avslutat ett tävlingsdeltagande.

I denna kvalitativa studie har vi valt att undersöka hur gemenskap bildas och underhålls på en arbetsplats med syfte att söka förståelse för gemenskap i förhållande till framförallt företagskultur samt grupper och roller ur ett socialpsykologiskt perspektiv. Vi har genom en hermeneutisk ansats och kvalitativa intervjuer tagit fram ett empiriskt material som gett oss en bild av den upplevda gemenskapen på ett större företag. För att analysera denna empiri har vi använt oss av en teoretisk definition av gemenskap, Goffmans dramaturgiska teori samt teorier om grupper och organisationskultur.Vad som framkommit är att gemenskap och trivsel är viktiga för välmåendet bland de anställda. Resultatet visar även på att gemenskapen på företaget kan förbättras genom större engagemang från ledningen..
