In Sweden in January 2005, there is only one producer of organic broilers and none of organic turkeys. But there are, on the other hand, a few small-scale producers whose housing systems to some extent are similar to what is stipulated in the organic standards. The aims of this work are to investigate what housing systems are used by the Swedish small-scale producers of broilers and turkeys, what main challenges they are confronted with and if there is an interest and a possibility for a change-over to organic production. For the first part of this work a literature study was performed with the purpose of detecting the main health problems in conventional as well as smallscale production. A special focus was on coccidiosis and leg weakness as those were considered to be of particular importance. A study was made of Swedish small-scale poultry production units. In two groups of broilers from the same producer and in three flocks of turkeys the level of Eimeria oocysts in faeces and litter was investigated.

This report describes the process of translating Russian financial information in accordance with Russian Accounting Standards to IFRS, International Financial Reporting Standards. The author describes the two regulatory frameworks and reveals a number of risk factors in the process. These risk factors may affect the reliability of figures from Russian companies. Bakgrund: Individualiseringen är något det talas om alltmer i dagens samhälle, men som samtidigt är vetenskapligt omtvistad, vilket visar på någon typ av paradox. Denna studie tar utgångspunkt i individualiseringen som diskurs, och vill undersöka om och hur den påverkat framställningar i samhällskunskapsböcker. Därmed prövas också teorin om läroboken som ett snabbföränderligt medium när det gäller politiskt laddade frågor.Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka i vilken utsträckning läroboksframställningar påverkas av samhälleliga diskurser, och att se huruvida individualiseringsdiskursen är en sådan typ av fråga som kan påverka framställningarna.Metod: Med en kvalitativ textanalys undersöks framställningar av arbetsliv och näringsliv i läroböcker i samhällskunskap för gymnasiet. Som analysinstrument används dimensionerna individfokus/kollektivfokus samt uttryck för individualism/uttryck för kollektivism. Sammanlagt sex böcker analyseras, två utgivna ca 1990, två utgivna ca 2000 och två utgivna ca 2010.Resultat: Individualiseringsdiskursen har påverkat framställningar i läroböcker.

This essay discusses the interaction between the authorities in Nacka municipality in Sweden and supervisors within the eldercare. In Nacka politicians have gradually started delegate responsibility for how care-giving for the elder should be done and focus instead on formulating economical objectives and overall rules. It is up to the approved supervisors of eldercare to deliver good care and quality. The method chosen to accomplish this is public choice. This method is a part of the big New Public Management (NPM) reform which have had a big impact on Swedish public sector since the 1980´s.

Moelven Skog AB is currently working actively to increase the number of certified forest owners in private small-scale forestry. This study was conducted in collaboration with Moelven Skog AB and seeks to learn why private small scale forest owners not yet have certified their forestry and what should be done to increase the number of certified forest owners. The study was conducted through a questionnaire study. The result of the study shows that information needs of forest certification to private small scale forest owners is great. Many non-certified forest owners have not even heard of either PEFC or FSC. The majority of respondents also have no education in forestry.
