Handlingsplan för rening av dagvatten frĂ„n hĂ„rt trafikerade gator i Örebro

The main purpose with the project has been to approximate the magnitude of the pollution transport from the actual road surfaces and to get an approximation of the possibility to collect the pollutants to reduce the load to the water and improve the water quality.The quantity of pollution transport from the most trafficated roads areas in Örebro city has been calculated. Roads whith a traffic exceeding 10 000 vehicle/day. The study has been done with the calculation tool StormTac. Through analysis of traffic loads and road surface, which together with a different kinds of parameters gives an approximation of the pollutant transport.The calculation has included some metals and other substances in the stormwater and has also included the present of suspended solids. Included the overall study, some smaller areas has also been calculated for the possibility to remove pollutants.The work also includes calculation for three different areas for stormwater treatment.

Biologiska behandlingsmetoder för rening av rejektvatten frÄn biogasproduktion

In this literature review the characteristics of two free-floating macrophytes, water hyacinth   (Eichhornia crassipes) and duckweed (Lemna sp.), and two microalgae, Chlorella and Scenedesmus, have been examined regarding their suitability as efficient nutrient removers in the treatment of wastewater with high levels of nutrients and suspended solids from a biogas plant in Loudden. The needs required for the plants to be able to grow in wastewater and the amounts of biomass they can produce have also been studied. The results show that Chlorella is capable of a very high uptake of nutrients in photobioreactors with high nutrient loadings. With an ammonia uptake maximum value at 10900mg/m2/d Chlorella outshines the other organisms in this study. The test organism that performed the closest to Chlorella in terms of nitrogen uptake was water hyacinth with an uptake about 1602mg/m2/d.

Costs of maintenance on combines are a subject of interest thus it constitute a large investment and cost for the individual farmer. Therefore it is important to have up to date knowledge and the right facts to be able to do reliable calculations on one of the largest investments for a farmer. The aim of this study was to compare costs of maintenance on combine/threshingmachine with the computer program for advising environmental issues in agriculture, STANK. Interviews took place and data were collected by handing out questionnaires to 20 farmers. A similar study conducted by Neuman (2003) investigated costs of maintenance and compared these with STANK. The results of this study have also been compared and examined related to data from SLA - Skogs och Lantarbetsgivarförbundet. The result shows that 18 out of 20 combines were given a higher cost of maintenance when using STANK compared to the numbers in this study.

ABB I-R Waterjet Systems combines the robotics and motion expertise of ABB Flexible Automation with high-pressure intensifier/pumping technology from Ingersoll-Rand to provide and continue to develop innovative waterjet cutting systems for global markets. The purpose of this assignment is to develop a process water purifier. The purifier should be applicable as an option to ABB I-R?s production cell Cutting-Box. At first hand the process water should be purified well enough to let out in the municipal sewage system, but the ultimate solution is purifying the process water to the range that recycling is possible.

Effekter av "Billigaste vÀg" för Stora Enso Skogs transportverksamhet :

Transportation constitutes a large part of the forest industry's raw material costs. Transport also contributes a significant proportion of the carbon dioxide emissions. In order to reduce both the cost and environmental impact different types of decision support are required. These, in turn, require extensive information about the road network and correct information on road path selection and transport distances. In the development of national road data base for forestry (SNVDB) a road selection application has been included.

BAMBUVISKOS ? En hÄllbar fiber för framtiden?

Naturskyddsföreningen gav författarna uppgiften att undersöka förekommande viskosprocesser och alternativa regenereringsprocesser, detta för att identifiera hur hÄllbara de Àr ur ett miljöperspektiv och vilka processer som gÄr att applicera pÄ bambu. Ett delmÄl med rapporten Àr att den ska kunna anvÀndas som material vid vidareutveckling av kriterierna för Bra Miljöval Textil. Resultat som erhÄllits vid jÀmförelser av studerad litteratur Àr att de betydande faktorerna för miljöpÄverkan frÄn massaframstÀllningen samt viskos- och lyocellprocessen beror av: anvÀnda kemikalier i processen, energianvÀndningen och vilken typ av energi, möjligheten till rening av utslÀpp till luft och vatten samt Ätervinning av energi och kemikalier.

Optimering av kemikaliedosering i Rosviks avloppsverk

Vid rening av avloppsvatten anvÀnder man ofta olika typer av fÀllningskemikalier för att rena vattnet pÄ bland annat fosfor. Innan man definitivt vÀljer fÀllningskemikalie bör man alltid genomföra fÀllningsförsök för att faststÀlla om man kan uppÄ önskade resultat. Helst ska kemikalieÄtgÄng och kostnad bli sÄ lÄga som möjligt. Efter smÄskaleförsöken Àr det Àven bra att testa i full skala för att se om de resultat som uppnÄtts i labbet Àven uppnÄs i reningsverket. Rosviks reningsverk Àr ett av mÄnga smÄ reningsverk i PiteÄ kommun och Àr dimensionerat för att ta emot avloppsvatten frÄn ungefÀr 2 100 personer.

Analys av potentiell kostnadsbesparing vid införande av ST-kran

Virkestransporter stÄr för ca 25 % av de totala anskaffningskostnaderna för skogsindustrin. Implementeringen av High Capacity Transports (HCT) i syfte att reducera transportkostnaderna och minska miljöpÄverkan för att bibehÄlla en hög konkurrenskraft för svensk skogsindustri har pÄ senare tid fÄtt ett ökat intresse. Ett av dessa HCT-fordon Àr ST-kran, dÀr ST stÄr för ?Större Travar? och Àr en kranbil som utvecklats för rundvirkestransporter med en bruttovikt pÄ 74 ton vilket Àr 23 % högre Àn en konventionell 60 tons kranbil. Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka besparingsmöjligheter för rundvirkestransporter genom införande av ST-kran hos Södra Skogs eget Äkeri. Studien delades upp i tre faser.

The forestry companies? operational planning process is these days dependent on reliable, efficient and user-friendly computer-based support systems. This study is an evaluation of Holmen Skog's current computer-based systems. The aim of this study is to: ? investigate the work pattern of the production managers when using the information system to plan the harvesting operation; ? investigate the efficiency and user friendliness of the information system with the different work patterns and to find the strengths, weaknesses and bottlenecks in the current system; ? find out if the type of object, the volume, the area of the harvesting object affects the time and work pattern; ? examine how this type of study is met by the employees and what factors that is critical to avoid feelings of intrusion. The conclusions of the study were: ? there is a large variation between the work patterns of the production managers and the time spend to perform the operational planning; ? the mainframe computer system used by Holmen Skog is clear, has short response times, is robust and conveys relevant information; ? the computer systems are however divided in many subsystems.

The purpose of this assignment is to develop a process water purifier. The purifier should be applicable as an option to ABB I-R?s production cell Cutting-Box. At first hand the process water should be purified well enough to let out in the municipal sewage system, but the ultimate solution is purifying the process water to the range that recycling is possible. When investigating the different principle of purifying water, a research of different products and their manufactories was done. These different products were compared and the principle of filtration was the most applicable, as most of the products were designed for far larger applications. As the process water contains quite large amount of particles, it is necessary to perform the filtration in different steps. The process water purifier is therefore composed of a module of coarse filtration and one of micro filtration. In the module of coarse filtration the mainly amount of fibres and particles are eliminated. They are kept back in the container unit with the larger fragments and dumped with these when the container is emptied. In the module of micro filtration the filtration is performed in two steps. In the first step particles larger than 50?m are eliminated, in the second step the micro filter is setting the range of purifying, in this case 10?m.

Rening av avloppsvatten med anaerob membranbioreaktor och omvÀnd osmos

This master's theses was carried out on assignment from Stockholm Vatten AB as a part of a project developing new waste water treatment techniques. The goal of the theisis has been to evaluate an anaerobic membrane bioreactor for treatment of waste water from Hammarby Sjöstad. The bioreactor has not been heated and the main interest has been to study the gas production, power consumption and the reduction of organic matter and nutrients.The system has been completed with a reverse osmosis unit and a total of four batch runs have been made with good results. The use of reverse osmosis allows nutrient in the waste water to be reintroduced into circulation as the reverse osmosis concentrate can be used as crop nutrient.The membrane unit is of VSEP ("Vibratory Shear Enhanced Processing") type and an extensive membrane test has been conducted. This so called L-test helped determine the most suitable type of membrane for the system to allow a higher ±ux and thus lower power consumption.

The use of Power Line Communication, PLC, as a communication solution for Automated Meter Reading, AMR, is popular by utilities in Sweden and other parts of the world due to demands of accurate and fast meter reading. However the use of the electrical grid as a communication medium is complex and sometimes problematic. This report handles some of the issues and problems that are important to understand when using the grid as a communications medium. Focus is mainly on investigating high frequency distortion in the Kristianstad power grid own by C4energi caused by a frequency converter. Measurements on site are done to investigate signal damping in the grid, different configurations for the frequency converter and signal strength of the PLC-system.

KartlÀggning av likvÀrdighet i bedömning vid examination för SÀker Skogs motorsÄgskörkort

SammanfattningBÄde LÀroplanen för förskolan (Lpfö98/2010) och den forskning vi i vÄr studie tagit del av framhÀver vikten av barns inflytande i förskolan. Bland annat poÀngterar filosofen och pragmatikern John Dewey (1916/1999) att vÀgen till ett demokratiskt samhÀlle bör starta med de yngre barnen, och att de genom miljön ska fÄ erfara allas lika vÀrde. Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ studie pÄ tvÄ förskolor, empirin omfattar bÄde intervjuer och observationer. FörskollÀrarna vi intervjuat har mellan 12 till 34 Ärs pedagogisk erfarenhet, och vÄr ambition har varit att undersöka pedagogernas uppfattningar om barns inflytande i förskolan, samt hur de tar till vara pÄ och uppmuntrar barnen till att vilja och kunna ha inflytande. I vÄr teoridel har vi lagt fokus pÄ kommunikation och vuxnas barnsyn som betydelsefulla aspekter för barns möjligheter till inflytande i förskolan. Resultatet av vÄr studie visar att det till största delen Àr i den fria leken som barns inflytande kommer till uttryck.
