Arbetet beskriver hur tre lärare och en skolledare för ut och förankrar den värdegrund som be-skrivs i nuvarande läroplan (Lpo 94). Metoden som använts är personliga intervjuer och ett se-lektivt urval av intervjuade har gjorts. En litteraturgenomgång stöder de metoder och synsätt som lärarna framhåller. Resultatet visar att alla intervjuade har ett aktivt förhållningssätt till de värden som läroplanen lyfter fram. Det genomsyrar hela deras undervisning och arbetet pågår mer eller mindre ständigt..

In this bachelor essay an attempt is done, to recreate a probable Bronze Age landscape on Gotland, with GIS as a tool. The landscape on Gotland is situated with many different monuments dated Bronze Age, such as cairns and stone ships. In creating of the maps, two possible shorelines contemporary with the Bronze Age have been calculated and marked on the maps. Furthermore, peat lands have been drawn upon the maps, by using the information from geological maps.A landscape variable have been compared between Bronze Age places and Early Iron Age houses; the soil type. On Bronze Age places gravel is the most common, while moraine marl is the most common on places with Early Iron Age houses.From a selection that were made, all Bronze Age places where within 3 km from the water, either the recreated shoreline or peat land.

The aim of this study was to isolate and identify Lactobacillus species indigenous to the gastrointestinal microflora of Swedish horses. These lactobacilli are to be used as probiotic candidates in research concerning antibiotic-associated diarrhoea in horses. Eight horses, age 6-10 years, were selected from a riding school for collection of faeces samples. Man Rogosa Sharp medium and gram staining were used for the selection of supposed lactobacilli. We could identify 33 isolates of supposed lactobacilli. With the use of API tests 22 of these 33 isolates could be identified.

Syftet i uppsatsen har varit att visa att reklam på lokal nivå är ett användbart verktyg för att spåra människors mentalitet i vardagen. Metoden har varit kvalitativ. Som källor till uppsatsen har ett urval av tidningen Norrländska Socialdemokratens annonssidor under åren 1960-1970 används. Resultatet visar att annonser i lokal dagspress kan användas som metod för att fånga tidsandan och människors mentalitet med hjälp av hermeneutisk tolkning.

The main purpose of this thesis is to examine whether the ISP (the Information Search Process) as defined by Carol Kuhlthau is applicable to Swedish University students. Qualitative interviews were carried out with students enrolled in their thesis course at the end of their university education. The selection is based on convenience sample of students visiting the university library. The questions are mainly about how to find out the experiences of the students when they look for documents at the beginning of their thesis work. Other relevant questions are about user-education, information literacy and what the students' opinions are concerning a thesis as a part of their education.

Syfte: På senaste tiden har betydelsen av företags ansvar för sociala frågor och miljöfrågor, med andra ord arbete med CSR-frågor, ökat drastiskt. Konsumenter är en av intressentgrupperna som sätter press på företag att tillverka produkter på ett ansvarsfullt sätt. Dessa konsumenter ställer krav på företag och utövar makt genom medveten konsumtion. Diverse forskningar visar dock att konsumenters attityder gentemot sådana företag inte alltid resulterar i köp av ?goda? produkter.

Detta examensarbete är utfört på uppdrag av Holmsunds sågverk, SCA. Syftet är att beskriva kvalitén hos talltimmer från förstagallringar som kommer att göras på SCAs eget skogsinne-hav de kommande 10 åren. Studien grundar sig på 334 stockar från 22 olika bestånd i Västerbotten. Urvalet av träd och sedermera stockar kan likställas med tvåstegssampling, först ett PPS-urval av bestånd och sedan ytterligare ett PPS-urval med relaskop. Samtliga stockar bedömdes i VMFs sågtimmerklasser av virkesmätare före provsågning, alla fel noterades.

Preschool has a long tradition of using picture books, both as entertainment and as a resource for educational activities. In science there are two main application areas. The first one is science concepts and the second is to teach basic science process skills. These skills, observing, communicating, inferring, classifying, measuring and predicting reflects the methods used by scientists. Picture books potential to put science concepts and activities that promote the use of science process skills in a meaningful context, recommends using picture books for this purpose.

Entrepreneurship is said to be the missing link between knowledge and growth in the Swedish economy. New ventures run a high risk of failing and this holds true especially for technology ventures. Since company leaders have proven to exert an influence on organisations' survival possibilities, the selection of an appropriate CEO is important. The purpose of this study is to describe the importance of the CEO for ventures as well as to explain how knowledge and experience affect the opinion of who should be CEO. Using a qualitative case study research design including three life science companies, we show that there are three main factors crucial when selecting a CEO.

Social media has recently expanded dramatically, as more people are using different media such as blogs, Facebook and Twitter, to express their opinions. This increases the possibilities to spread information and an unclear legal regulation in this area can create adverse consequences. Freedom of expression is a constitutional right, which forms an important cornerstone of a democratic society. Public employees? freedom of communication means that they can submit information to the media, without fear of reprisals from the authorities.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen har varit att undersöka hur mycket utrymme olika sporter har i Sportbladet, Aftonbladets sportbilaga, och att söka efter förklaringar till hur utrymmet i tidningen fördelas mellan olika sporter. Undersökningen har genomförts i två delstudier, dels en kvantitativ innehållsanalys och dels en kvalitativ intervjuundersökning. Resultatet från den kvantitativa delstudien visar att fotboll är den sport som får absolut störst utrymme i Sportbladet. Ishockey får också mycket plats i tidningen. Övriga sporter får, jämfört med fotboll och ishockey mycket liten plats i Sportbladet.
