PurposeThe purpose of this study has been to investigate the documentation process following the guiding principles of the Quality Norms for Fall Prevention concerning fall risk assessment, risk identification, fall preventive measures, information and the making of an individual care plan.MethodThis study is a quantitative, descriptive and retrospective journal review study. There were 100 journals examine the existing documentation concerning fall risk assessment of patients who received treatment in geriatric patient care. The sample was consecutively.ResultsThe results showed that fall risk assessment was documented in 79 of 100 examined journals. 56 (71 %) of the fall risk assessments were made within 24 hours. In 59 of 100 journals the patient, relatives or former caretakers was asked whether the patient had had a fall within the last year, and in 61 of 100 journals it was documented that the nursing staff had made an assessment that the patient was going to have a fall during his or her length of stay if no preventive measures were set in.The majority of fall risk factors and fall preventive measures were documented within the areas of walking and transfer. It was documented that the patient was informed of fall risk, fall risk factors and fall preventive measures in 15 of 100 journals.

Syftet med föreliggande kvalitativa studie var att undersöka kvinnors våld mot män i nära relationer. Undersökningen bestod av fem intervjuer med våldsutsatta män i nära relationer. Dessa analyserades med hjälp av tidigare forskning samt viktimologi, genusteori och Connells maskuliniteter som teoretiska utgångspunkter. Under arbetets gång framträdde tre teman, vilka var männens upplevelser och erfarenheter av: våld i nära relationer, hjälpinsatser och bemötande samt männens syn på maskulinitet och manlighetsnormer. Resultatet visade i vilken omfattning våld utövas mot män samt vilken form av våld som var den mest förekommande.

Syftet med studien var att se om och hur en individs anknytningsstil påverkar valet av relationer under barndomen, tonårs- och nutid. Utgångspunkten var Bartholomew och Horowitz (1991) fyra anknytningsstilar och frågeställningen var: Kan man med kvalitativa intervjuer se likheter respektive skillnader mellan de fyra grupperna med avseende på uppväxt, val av relationer och vad en individ anser vara en nära respektive ytlig relation. Med hjälp av enkäten Relationship Questionnaire valdes sju deltagare ut för intervjuer. Den semistrukturerade intervjuguiden gjordes av författarna utifrån Adult Attachment Interview och Relationship Questionnaire. Resultatet visade att anknytningsstilen är densamma i barndomen och i vuxen ålder och att den påverkar vänskaps- och kärleksrelationer för grupperna secure, preoccupied och fearful men inte för gruppen dismissing.

Along with thisdecision a new market for private health careproviders was established, which resulted inincreasedcompetition between the providers.In order to manage the competition, the health care providers arenow forced to be more efficient in their operations andalso to beeven more focused on their patients.Backa Läkarhusgruppen is an example of a private healthcare provider in the region of Västra Götaland.In the same way it is also an example of anorganizationin need of analysing their operations to seehowit can be further optimized to meet patient needs and expectations.The aim of this study is to analyse Backa Läkarhusgruppen?s organization and its operationsin the hopeoffinding suggestions whichwill improve the patient flow.To allocate and solve the problems thatBacka Läkarhus suffer from,an approach inspired by Lean Healthcare is used throughout the report.Some of themost significant problems that were identified within the organization are:?The synchronization of demand and capacity is inadequate.?Absence of standardized routines.?Absence of present leadership.To be able to improve the patient flow Backa Läkarhus needs to handle these identified problem areas.By synchronizing the staffing level in relation to the trends in demand a reduction in the patient?swaiting times and throughput time will be possible. Creating clear responsibilities and routines for thestaff will contribute to a higher degree of patient focus and thus lead to a more efficient patient flow.

Syftet med studien har varit att undersöka hur anställda inom psykiatrins vårdavdelningar ser på relationsarbetet tillsammans med deras patienter samt även undersöka hur de arbetar i relationen för att främja patientens utsikter till återhämtning/tillfriskning. Studien är uppbyggd på kvalitativmetod med semistrukturerade intervjuer med åtta stycken anställda sjuksköterskor/undersköterskor från olika avdelningar inom psykiatrivården från en mellanstor stad i Sverige. För att underlätta sammanställning av resultat har en intervjuguide använts och genom den har teman tagits ut som använts som rubriker. I analysen har tolkningsramen använts för att skapa olika teman som sedan analyserats utifrån studiens resultat samt tolkningsram.  Resultatet av studien visar på att samtliga respondenter anser att hur relationen till deras patienter ser ut är viktig för vårdarbetet samt att det är önskvärt att sträva efter bra och stabila (bärande) relationer. Studien tar även upp vad respondenterna kallar svårigheter för att skapa bra relationer till patienten samt även de risker som kan förekomma när man strävar efter att skapa nära relationer med sina patienter..

AbstraktSyftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka om den tid som avsätts till internetanvändande tas från sociala face to face relationer, och om frekvent internetanvändande har någon inverkan på tillgången till resurser i form av socialt kapital. För att undersöka detta har kvalitativ metod och analys tillämpats. Datainsamling har skett genom intervjuer med totalt tio respondenter. Resultatet visar att frekvent internetanvändande tar tid från sociala face to face relationer, samt att frekvent internetanvändande kan ha en effekt gällande tillgången på socialt kapital. Däremot kan inget entydigt resultat redovisas som visar om tillgången på socialt kapital ökar eller minskar till följd av frekvent internetanvändande.Nyckelord: internet, socialt kapital, sociala relationer, virtuella kontakter..
