Transportstyrelsen vars verksamhetsidé är att "utveckla ett tillgängligt transportsystem med hänsyn till säkerhet, miljö och hälsa", blev den 1 januari 2011 till stor del avgiftsfinansierad istället för anslagsfinansierad. Målet är att de olika transportslagen inom Transportstyrelsens verksamhet ska få mer lika villkor, och att avgifterna ska finansiera verksamheten.Då finansieringsförändringen ovan innebär ökade kostnader för transportbolagen är syftet med denna uppsats att analysera och utvärdera tänkbara förändringar i pris och utbud och därefter utvärdera hur detta påverkar efterfrågan på bussresor och därigenom samhället. Eftersom transportsektorn till stor del finansieras av subventioner ämnar vi även att undersöka hur ett borttagande eller minskande av dessa kan påverka pris och utbud för att sedan utvärdera efterföljande förändringar i efterfrågan på bussresor och hur samhället därmed skulle påverkas.Utifrån teori om efterfrågan på transport och efter genomförda tester och utvärderingar av olika kombinationer av relevanta förklaringsvariabler valdes en efterfrågemodell för den lokala och regionala kollektivtrafiken med förklaringsvariablerna biljettpris, utbudet av resor, befolkningens storlek och resor i föregående period. Denna modell användes för att analysera förändringar i pris, utbud och därmed efterfrågan av bussresor till följd av både avgiftsinförandet samt borttagandet och minskandet av subventionen.Resultaten av vår analys visar på att avgiftsinförandet inte har någon väsentlig effekt på pris, utbud och efterfrågan. Däremot leder ett borttagande eller minskande av subventionen till förändringar i form av stora prishöjningar och utbudsminskningar vilket har en stor negativ effekt på efterfrågan på bussresor.

Today, a large proportion of wood supplied for the Swedish forest industry is bought from private forest owners while forest companies at the same time provide the forest owners with services such as logging services and transportation. Today, forest companies work extensively with keeping the time used for transport and logging short. But what does the private forest owners think about the time required for the timber deal, also called lead time, and the different parts of the timber deal. In this thesis, the forest owners? perception of the different lead times in their contracts with Stora Enso and their communication with the purchasers is examined.

De olika of­fentliga aktörernas resurser är dels finansiella i form av anslag av me­del, dels legala genom myndighetsutövning. I frågor gällande utbyggnad eller uppgradering av transportin­frastruktur tvingas staten samverka med regionala och lokala aktörer (kommuner) för att uppnå gemen­samma mål. For Skattkärr IF a turf field with warming has been projected to increase field?s utilization hours and to have a longer period for athletes to perform their activities outdoors. The technique chosen to heat the plan is a type of a geothermal heating system without a heat pump. The brine, which is water with 30% ethanol, collects heat from the borehole and discharges it to a coil in the field. There is at position 11 boreholes but it is planned to increase the number to 31, which is the design for the facility.

Ett sätt att undersöka kvaliteten i en lödfog är att kontrollera dess täckningsgrad med hjälp av ultraljud. Detta är en teknik som GKN Aerospace använder, bland annat för att kontrollera lödfogar på en specifik flygmotorkomponent. För att komponenten skall kunna godkännas krävs det att alla fogar uppnår den önskade täckningsgraden. De fogar som inte uppfyller kraven måste lödas om tills de kan godkännas. GKN önskar öka effektiviteten genom att minska behovet av omlödningar.

In recent years, the Swedish railway track system has been neglected in terms of capacity and maintenance. To adapt the existing system to current traffic load there is a great need for extensive improvement and maintenance. Shortcomings are especially occurring on older embankments running over soft subgrades. To select the most suitable method for reinforcement of the embankment, it is important to evaluate different solutions from a life cycle cost perspective. In long-term perspective, it is often shown that a method with low investment cost causes a higher maintenance cost and a shorter technical lifetime.

Geothermal energy can be extracted from an aquifer, where the groundwater is used as heatexchange medium while heat and cold are stored in the surrounding material in the aquiferand to some extent in the groundwater. Application of aquifer storage for the use ofgeothermal energy is mainly used in large scale facilities and is limited to sites with suitableaquifers in the form of ridges, sandstone and limestone aquifers.Löwenströmska hospital in the municipality of Upplands Väsby, north of Stockholm, islocated nearby the northern part of the Stockholm esker. This means that it can be profitableand environmentally beneficial for the hospital to examine the possibilities of aquifer storagein the esker material next to its property.The purpose of this master thesis has been to investigate if geothermal energy storage with aseasonal storage of heat and cold can be applied within Löwenströmska hospital?s propertyarea using groundwater modeling. A hydraulic groundwater model was constructed inMODFLOW based on a simplified conceptual model of the groundwater system.

Hög efterfrågan, dyr transport samt dålig lagringskapacitet leder till att tillgången på drav begränsas. Ett sätt att lagra drav och således förbättra tillgängligheten är genom ensilering. Denna studie genomfördes som en Minor Field Study, och var en del i ett projekt mellan SLU och Makerere University, ?feed for livestock in urban/peri-urban areas of Kampala?.
