Abstract: Elite soccer in combination with education is a unique and demanding task. The path towards a glory career in sports takes hard mental and physical training. The objectives in this study are 6 elite focused high school students studying high school education programs in combination with football profile. They are 3 of each gender. The purpose of the study was to find out more about their perspective of motivation and what makes them keep going towards a career in football in beside their education.The study is of empiric hermeneutic survey used qualitative method and interviewing to collect data.

Abstract Arbetet utgör en undersökning om gymnasielevers attityder kring skolmatematik. Eleverna i undersökningen går i gymnasiets årskurs två och tre på Teknik- eller Naturprogrammet. Eleverna, som alla medverkade frivilligt, tillfrågades i intervjuer om hur de såg på matematik, nyttan av den och vad som gör det intressant/roligt att studera ämnet matematik samt vad de ansåg kunskaper i matematik kunde användas till rent allmänt. Utfallet var sammanfattningsvis en positiv i syn på ämnet och att det var förståelsen av matematiken som gör den rolig och att den upplevda nyttan med ämnet framförallt att det hjälper förståelsen av t.ex. Fysik och Kemi.

ABSTRACTPurpose/Aim: This essay aims to investigate what picture (obvious and hidden) of men and womens equality in our society that is to be found on DN Debatt.Material/Method: The material consists of 175 articles from DN Debatt during 2004. A content analysis and a rethoric analysis has then been used as a method of analysing the material.Main results: Men are much more represented on DN Debatt then women. The underlying picture of men and women that is presented sees men as being the ones who are in charge of all the important and ?big? decisions and questions in our society. Women on the other hand are pictured as, although they have reached higher positions in society, the ones who to a high degree focus on closer and more socially important issues.

AbstractThis study focuses on three generations of Kurdish women's view on honor. The study is a qualitative research based on three individual interviews. The aim of this study is to examine how three generations of immigrant women from a culture of honor is influenced over time by the majority culture and its values together with how these women affect each other mutually both consciously and unconsciously within the family. The study is based on two questions: What does"honor" mean to the three generations of women who are Muslim and Kurdish? Did these three generations of women?s idea of honor change over time as they have lived in Sweden? Results of this study have shown that the concept of honor has its focus on the woman's body, sexuality and chastity.

  AbstractLitteraturstudien är en kvalitativ ansats att beskriva mänsklig ondska genom aktuella teoretiker; Philip Zimbardo och Ervin Staub. Syftet var att beskriva ondska i beteenden genom att slutligen pröva teorier om ondskefulla beteenden mot en fallstudie av Josef Fritzl. Analysens utgångspunkt är person v.s. situation där uppväxtvillkor, sociala beteenden, miljö/situation och de grundläggande basala behoven hos oss som individer är i fokus. Resultaten påvisar vikten av att ur ett inlärningspsykologiskt perspektiv beskriva ondskan i inre och yttre beteenden för att konkretisera och beskriva dess beteendekomponenter.

Abstract Syftet med vår undersökning har varit att få fördjupade kunskaper om hur elever på Barn och Fritidsprogrammet på gymnasiet i årskurs tre ser på lärarrollen. Resultatet har vi fått fram genom kvalitativa intervjuer vilket ligger till grund i vår analys om hur en lärare bör vara. För att få en förståelse av de svar vi fick i undersökningen har vi valt att använda oss av relevant litteratur för området. Resultatet vi fick fram visar att lärarens ledarskap, relation mellan lärare och elever samt inflytande är viktiga aspekter då eleverna diskuterar dagens lärarroll. Undersökningen visar att en lärarens förhållningssätt är av större betydelse för eleverna än lärarens ämneskunskaper.

Abstract- Stress, conformity, groups and self-worth in high-school girlsThe aim of this questionnaire-survey was to investigate the experience of stress and symptomsof stress in high-school girls, and to examine if the experienced symptoms of stress could bepredicted by groups, self-worth and conformity. Another purpose of this study was to describethe girls own thoughts concerning these factors. 80 girls between the ages of 15-18 yearsanswered the questionnaire. The results showed that stress could be predicted by theexperience of conformity, but not by the experience of belonging to a group and self-worth.The most common symptoms of stress were tiredness, problems to concentrate and headache.The girls reported that they thought that girls of their own age were ?slutty and cocky?, andthey thought that it was important to look good, but at the same time many girls were happyabout themselves and they had realised that they had to live with who they are.Keywords: high-scool girls, stress, groups, self-worth, conformity.

Abstract: The purpose with this study is to analyse the political debate about freedom of speech in Sweden and Denmark, after the caricatures of the Islamic Prophet Mohammed that the Danish newspaper Jyllandsposten published in September 2005. For this debate four political parties have been chosen. These are: Socialdemokratiska Partiet and Moderata Samlingspartiet in Sweden and Socialdemokraterne and Venstre in Denmark.An idea analysis has been chosen as method, and dimensions as an analysing tool. The overall result of the analysis is that right- and left political parties in Sweden and Denmark are more alike, than different in their political debate about free speech. They all wish for total freedom of speech, and see that as the foundation of the democratic society.

We are trying to capture characteristics of decisionmakersin the pre- internationalization phase, to then compare the theoretical materialwith empirical material from case companies. Then in the final stages of the thesis, wewant to account for if we managed to answer our research questions. In the method, wegive a description of the approach selected in conjunction with the study. The study isqualitative and we used both primary and secondary data, with a deductive approach.The theory chapter will consider the most relevant theories that are related to the topic,which is internationalization, pre-internationalization, international entrepreneurship,and the psychology behind personalities, attitudes, and how these can affect theorganization's strategic decisions.

What are children confirmed for and how do they react to the confirmation? How is confirmation used by teachers? What do children want to receive confirmation for?The starting point for this study is based on the unique theories of Skinner, Maslow and Bronfenbrenner. The main focus with regard to Skinner?s theory (in this study) lies in reinforcement. In Maslow?s theory, the concentration is on hierarchy of needs while in Bronfenbrenner?s theory, the study centers upon interaction.

The liberalization of trade is considered to be one of the main forces behind economic growth and the reduction of poverty. Denna uppsats har som syfte att utforska människors upplevelse av skyldigheter mot dem själva. Anser de attdet finns sådana, vad är de i så fall och känns dem? Genom en webbaserad enkät och elva semi-struktureradeintervjuer utforskas detta ämne. Resultatet visar att alla deltagare i intervjustudien anser att man harskyldigheter mot sig själv. Av det 229 svarande i enkätstudien tyckte 84,88 procent att man hade det.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to find out how the central content of the compulsory school curriculum (Lgr11) is handled in three teacher?s manuals for instruction in reading and writing for grade 1, and how these consider interaction and variation in learning how to read and write. Through a qualitative analysis with a hermeneutic approach, the three teacher?s manuals in Swedish for grade 1 were subjected to a close reading. The result shows that parts of the central content of the curriculum are considered, but that it is by studying exercises and texts that these become visible.
