Abstract We have chosen to figure out why a majority in a home-help service group in west of Sweden is, or has been sick-listed. The purpose with our work has been to investigate our area to be able to come up with different factors which can have contributed to the high numbers of this particular group. We have worked with qualitative method and conversation-interviews to be able to answer our purpose at the best way. We had separate interviews with the ten employees at their work and these interviews we chose to record with a computer. The result we got were that the group had existed for about four years and since then, they have had several different directors.

AbstractPurpose/Aim: The purpose of this paper was to identify the communication process at the company Cherry casino and see what opinions the employees had about it. Moreover, an evaluation of the used strategies was done and an analysis about what perhaps could be done to improve the attitude, communication and in the end the result for the company.Material/Method: The empirical material was gathered through qualitative interviews and theory application.Main results: The transmission of information regarding the regular work related information works just fine and the channels used are well chosen. But more large-scale information that deals with the company?s plans, strategies and targets is not handled in the right way. Neither is the respond.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the Swedish industry- and craftmanship trade, specifically the relationship between effort and reward and how it affects the meaningfulness during labour hours. Also, what are the possible effects on production efficiency as a whole? Discussed and analyzed through empirics and previous research.38 workers filled out a survey and two interviews were conducted to get a more analytic depth to the data.The results showed that there is little to no reward for high effort during labour hours on the evaluated workplaces, combined with low commitment and meaningfullness. My conclusions are that more ways of effort-based rewards would likely have a positive effect on meaningfulness and thereby the production as a whole. I also show that the theses of Karl Marx are still plausible and relevant in modern day industrial- and craftsmanship trades in capitalist countries..

The main goal with this work is to find out how preschool teachers take care of children?s joy of movement and how they work to promote children?s progress of motor activity.

ABSTRACT System development has become more and more concentrated on development for the Web and this has resulted in larger target groups. It will most surely continue to be so considering that the Web will be the infrastructure of business and services in the future. A big target group involves that the owner of a system can earn a lot of money from the paying users, but that assumes that the system can meet user needs. If a system on the Web does not satisfy the user?s demands then they will use the competitor?s system instead because it is only a mouse-click away.

 This abstract describes the bachelor degree thesis in computer technology at Växjö University. The company BSR in Växjö has requested an application that can measure a cars performance, with attributes like acceleration times and engine power estimation. The communication between car and computer is via the USB port on the computer and the OBD-II socket on the car with the network protocol CAN, controller area network. Cars from VAG have been the primary focus group and the application has been tested on a Volkswagen Passat CC from 2009. The system is developed in the programming language C# in the environment Visual Studio with the framework .NET.

AbstractDet övergripande syftet med uppsatsen är att förstå varför det förekommit problem med färdtjänsten i Lund sedan seklets början. Vi undersöker dels vad det innebär att styra färdtjänsten med kontrakt och dels beställarkompetensen hos tekniska förvaltningen i Lund. Våra resultat visar på att styrformen i sig inte behöver orsaka problem, men att det troligen spelar in i detta fall eftersom förvaltningen inte haft tillräcklig beställarkompetens för att minska vissa transaktionskostnader av kontraktsstyrningen. Det finns även vissa indikationer på att utvecklingen av förtroende mellan aktörerna missgynnats av turbulensen under de första åren på seklet. Förvaltningen rekommenderas utveckla en mer omfattande beställandekompetens genom systematiska utvärderingar..

ABSTRACTThe purpose of our study was to examine how four different organizations cooperate on rehabilitation of people to get them back to employment. More specifically our aim was to investigate how different organizations in a project, involving workrehabilitation, looks at cooperation. Our main questions were vague at the beginning of our study, but finally our focus became clear. The questions were formed with help from the research of Hjortsjö (2006) and Fridolf (2000): Which possibilities and hindrances identify the different organizations which cooperate? What does cooperation mean to the representatives from the different organizations which are included in KARB? Our result shows that the respondents mostly think positive of the project KARB.

AbstractDenna uppsats handlar om elevers uppfattningar om fult språk år 2008. Syftet med uppsatsen är att blivande svensklärare ska tillägna sig en föreberedelse för den kommande lärarrollen, och få en medvetenhet om vilket språkbruk eleverna har. Sjuttio elever har svarat på enkätfrågor som handlar om vad de anser vara fult språk, om de använder fult språk och vilka platser de anser att de inte får använda fult språk. Elevernas svar har sammanställs och mönster har framkommit. Resultatet visar att majoriteten av eleverna använder någon form av fula ord.

AbstractI believe that everyone have the right to understand and be understood. It doesn´t matter if you are an immigrant, suffer from dyslexia or just don´t like to read.In this study I test the difference between a normal written and an easy-to-read routine. I want to know if there is a way to improve a routine in such a way that even people without pre-understanding can comprehend the content.Routines are an important part in many organisations. Staffroutines in nursinghomes don´t exist just to ensure that caretakers are being taken care of in the right way according to the rules and wishes of the organisation. They also exist to make the work with people who suffer from dementia easier for the staff.Routines are in other words very important.

AbstractIn this text the attitudes towards and using of blogs in teaching Swedish toteenagers will be explored. The results are based on a survey made amongst 17teachers and 58 students from all over Sweden. The end results show that theusage of blog still hasn?t found a permanent way into the classrooms, but has anappeal to and is being used by predominantly younger teachers both, male andfemale, with a positive response from students regardless of gender. Abstract:Syftet med arbetet var att ta reda på om invandrarelever har lättare för matematik än för svenska. Syftet formulerades utifrån tanken om att matematiken skulle vara enklare att behärska då kravet på språket eventuellt inte var lika stort som i svenskan.Undersökningen genomfördes dels genom att undersökningspersonerna fick fylla i en enkät och dessutom tittade man på undersökningspersonernas nationella prov i matematik och svenska som genomfördes i åk 5 av de medverkande.Resultatet av detta arbete har varit svårt att redovisa då detta arbete bygger på en liten grund. Utifrån materialet som har funnits till hands kan man konstatera att eleverna själva anser att ämnet svenska är lättare än ämnet matematik. Abstract I vår studie har vi valt att undersöka hur barn lär sig läsa ur ett pedagogiskt synsätt där vi har fokus på två metoder LTG (läsning på talets grund) och Wittingmetoden samt hur dessa två metoder förhåller sig till varandra. Vi ska även använda bedömningsmaterialet LUS som hjälpmedel på hur den kan integreras in i metoderna och elevernas utveckling inom läs- och skrivinlärning. I vårt examensarbete har vi använt oss av den kvalitativa forskningsmetoden där fokus har legat på litteraturstudie. I slutet av vårt examensarbete kommer vi fram till, utifrån litteraturstudien att LTG metoden är den metod där eleverna utvecklar läsförståelsen gemensamt med andra elever mest effektivt för varje elevs. Alla lärare strävar efter att hjälpa elever utveckla och underlätta läsutvecklingen med hjälp av kamrater, hjälpmedel för att eleven ska kunna utvecklas så bra så möjligt inom sin egen läsutveckling..
